Calvin Klein is one of the most iconic American fashion designers of our time. His eternal minimalistic looks have graced some of biggest red carpets and have been worn by some of the biggest celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow, Sandra Bullock, and Julia Roberts. It’s hard to imagine that it all started 44 years ago in a small coat shop in the York Hotel right here in New York City when Klein founded Calvin Klein Limited with only $10,000. Today the famed designer is turning 70 and we’re pretty sure it’s safe to say that was $10,000 well spent!
Besides being awarded time after time for his fashions, the designer has also been accredited for many of his risqué ads, especially in the 80′s and 90’s. Who could forget Brooke Shields and her famous line “”You wanna know what comes between me and my Calvins? Nothing.” And don’t even get us started on the the uber sexy ads that featured a young Mark Wahlberg and Kate Moss. Calvin Klein has indefinitely jump-started many careers, so in honor of his 70th birthday we give you the 10 hottest celebs who have famously rocked a pair of CKs in print. Enjoy!

Selena Gomez has been having a rough past few days with her breakup with long time boyfriend Justin Bieber. But she sure didn’t show it as she strolled the red carpet for Glamour Magazine’s 2012 Woman Of The Year awards last night in New York City! The 20-year-old stunned in an off-white peplum dress designed by Giambattista Valli. Selena was honored at the event with an Independant Spirit award for her film, television, music and fashion work, as well as her charitable post as UNICEF’S youngest ever ambassador.
“I just want to share to all the girls out there that you have a voice, that you have a chance to do what you love, whether that is acting or singing, and just being true to who you are” she said in an emotional acceptance speech after being presented the award by actor Ethan Hawke. ” The person that’s taught me that better than anyone is my mom. She is so strong and beautiful and has taught me everything, so thank you.” Selena was by no means the only famous face in attendance! She was joined by the likes of Eva Longoria, Lena Dunham, Gabby Douglas and so many more. See who was there and what they wore in the gallery below!

Katie Holmes is sticking to her passion for fashion through her very public divorce from Tom Cruise. So much so that a spokesperson from Holmes’ brand, Holmes & Yang, announced that they will be putting on a presentation during New York Fashion Week in September of this year. This is Holmes & Yang’s debut at New York Fashion Week and they will be showcasing their spring collection. It seems like more celebs than we can count have dabbled in the fashion industry along with being musical artists or actors. Gwen Stefani with her punk rock L.A.M.B line and of course Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen with their high fashion design line, The Row. Justin Timberlake, Selena Gomez, Coco, and Victoria Beckham are also no strangers to the world of fashion. These multi-talented go-getters show their spunk, individuality, and sequins (of course, Coco) in their designs. Head down the gallery below to see what they’ve come up with for the catwalk!

Today’s a big birthday for pop icon, Paula Abdul, as she turns the big 5-0! She’s showed the world all she’s got since the early 80s and we know she’s not slowing down any time soon! Pop isn’t all she’s got – Paula is known for her wacky and fabulous wardrobe. The colors, the designs, the sparkles – OH MY! Abdul ‘s unique threads are always show stoppers. Her originality radiates in every red carpet pose from the Kids’ Choice Awards to the Grammys. Abdul has come a long way since her days on her high school cheerleading team and has proved to be the powerful woman she set out to be.
This past January Abdul announced that she would not be returning to be a judge on the X-Factor. So what’s she up to now? Well a few days ago she was spotted at Citizens Bank Park during the Phillies/Dodgers game. She was there there supporting the Prostate Cancer Foundation and getting down with the Phillies mascot, Phillie Phanatic. Check out some of her wildest outfits, craziest ‘dos, and sweetest dance moves in the gallery below!

Firstly, can we just say, what is up with Leighton Meester‘s blondness? We know that’s a strange thing to say, because her natural hair color is blonde, but we’re so used to seeing her as a beautiful brunette now. You’re seeing this too, right? Her hair is looking rather strange in the picture on the right? Can’t fault the rest of her though. She was in Paris along with the lovely Freida Pinto and Hilary Swank, but this wasn’t just for any old premiere. The three actresses were invited to sit front row at the Salvatore Ferragamo Cruise Collection 2013 Show at Galerie Denon. Which also isn’t a big deal, you may say? Wrong. This show has made history as the first ramp show to happen at the Louvre, as Ferragamo is currently sponsoring the major exhibition at the museum called “The Virgin and Saint Anne.” That was the last painting ever made by Leonardo da Vinci. So yes — a fashion show inside the Louvre sounds pretty spectacular. The three ladies, of course, all wore Ferragamo. But whose look do you prefer? We’re currently leaning towards Freida’s Fall 2012 RTW dress, but have fallen in love with Hilary’s shoes! And we wouldn’t mind taking Leighton’s textured skirt out for a twirl either.

Way before Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj and Rihanna, music’s reigning queen of crazy style was also the queen of disco! Donna Summer was known not only for her sultry voice and lusty hits like “Bad Girls” and “Hot Stuff,” but also for her unmatched wardrobe. Her live performances, music videos and spots on top shows like Soul Train were always a feast for the eyes as well as the ears. Today we lost a glittering legend whose dance floor smashes could wake you up better than a cold shower and a hot coffee! So to pay tribute to the divine Ms. Summer, we’ve compiled a list of her 20 most outrageous outfits ever. Now if you’ll excuse us, we’re going to go listen to all 17 minutes of “Love To Love You Baby.” And, of course, “Last Dance.”

Although Kristen Stewart can glam it up like no other on the red carpet, it’s no secret that she’s much more at home in a pair of jeans and sneakers. Then again, aren’t we all? The only difference is that Kristen can make a vintage t-shirt look just as Vogue-y as a zillion dollar Monique Lhuillier dress! Whatever the occasion, the actress has made a habit of changing out of her high style gowns (or suits) into something a little more chill as the evening goes on. Last night was no different as Kstew ditched the sheer Marchesa she wore to the Snow White And The Huntsman premiere in London for a more rock ‘n’ roll jeans and leather jacket. She reportedly partied until 5 AM at Quo Vadis Private Members Club along side fellow SWATH star Charlize Theron and “boyfriend” (!) Robert Pattinson. Rock on, Kristen! Check out some of her best dress up/dress down looks in the gallery below.

Okay celebrities, you can all go home now! Because if it was not yet clear that Beyonce is the queen of the world, her show-stopping Givenchy gown at the Met Gala tonight has sent a serious signal: Beyonce is the best. Hands down. Period. The End. Who runs the world? Bey does. Yes, her dress is absolutely amazing, with the see-through, shimmery lace and incredible purple train. (We will fall asleep tonight and every night of the next year dreaming about that to-die-for train. Swoon.) But not just anyone could pull off this gorgeous gown. It’s the singer’s confidence that sells it and makes it such a completely spectacular look. Let’s just hope she saves it for lil Blue to wear one day, too.
We’re not going to lie to you guys – we were glued to Vogue‘s livestream of the Met Gala, waiting with excitement for Kristen Stewart‘s arrival. And as usual, the actress did not disappoint. We’ve watched Kristen grow into a fashion icon over the past few years, and tonight’s bold Balenciaga proved just how far she’s come. She’s the face of the fashion house’s new fragrance, and tonight she accompanied their creative director, Nicolas Ghesquière, to the event. Her dress and shoes are from their fall 2012 collection and we think they both suit her red carpet style perfectly – edgy and show-stopping but still young, fresh and most importantly, her. And the hair – oh, can we please talk about her hair for a second? Tousled to perfection, effortless, and completely sexy. Well played, Ms. Stewart! Well played.
