Taylor Swift Morphs Into Nicole Kidman On Teen Vogue Cover

You see it too, right? We’re not imagining things? Taylor Swift looks exactly like Nicole Kidman on the August 2011 cover of Teen Vogue. Someone in Hollywood needs to be writing these two a mother-daughter indie drama set in Nashville, stat. The cover story inside has the kind of quotes we’ve come to expect from the blond beauty. You know, stuff like, “I love getting ready: the makeup, the dresses. I write lyrics on my arm for every show,” and this description of her favorite show outfit: “It’s long and sparkly and a total princess dress.”

But when she’s not ODing on twee she also reveals some redeeming things too, like an obsession with the show Teen Mom and the app CatPaint. When she’s not being too precious for words, she’s just like us! Check out more pics at TeenVogue.com.

Lady Gaga Joins Tumblr, Poised To Become Most Popular Blogger In The World

Microblogging site Tumblr has it’s fair share of celebrities users: Katy Perry, John Mayer, Dianna Agron, Jamie Bower, to name a few. (Not to mention theFABlife and Kate Spencer!) Lady Gaga has now jumped on the blog bandwagon, starting a Tumblr called Amen Fashion. Her inaugural post (see above) was simply a picture of the superstar grabbing her boobs with her claw-like hands. In other words: ABSOLUTE PERFECTION!

Every single one of Gaga’s posts have been shared on the site thousands of times in the past 24 hours, which surely means she’s on the fast track to being the most popular Tumblr user ever (she already holds that crown on Twitter) She’s mostly posted photos so far, because, duh — it is a fashion blog, after all. We’re gonna pray to Mother Monster that she posts a shot of ever outfit she wears, like so many other bloggers do. What we wouldn’t give for daily photos of her in her various McQueen mega-heels. That’s why the internet was made, right?

Mila Kunis On Flare Magazine Making Her One Billionth Cover Of The Year

Before we get into dissecting this cover, we’d like to tell all Mila Kunis fans that we actually like her. We’d also like to add that she is genetically gifted far beyond our comprehension. And yes, she could put on a potato sack and make it look like couture. But even the most perfect of creatures must have some sort of Achilles heel, right? With regards to the actress, it just so happens to be this Lanvin dress Mila has on the Flare Magazine August cover.

Let’s get the pleasantries out of the way first. Mila, we applaud you for your billionth cover of the year. We think your skin and make-up is fabulous (not too sure about that hair, though). The way they’ve photoshopped you into soft light makes you, indeed, look heavenly. Okay? Unfortunately, the Flare dudes didn’t have to take the “flare” so seriously. We get it guys. You’re Flare — the dress is flared. Way to make so fine a point. Also, said flare makes Mila look like the more high fayshyon version of the dilophosaurus from Jurassic ParkAnna Wintour, is dat chu? After that horrifying image, let’s just focus on all the generic quotes that she gave in the interview. For instance, she offers, “I love bad TV, so if I can just stay home on a Sunday and catch up on my horrible reality shows, with my dogs and my Pinkberry, to me that’s heaven.” No Mila, that still doesn’t make you like us!

2011 BET Awards: Tell Us Who Wore Pink Best

The 2011 BET Awards happened last night and we noticed that one particular color popped up far more than usual. Pink! Somehow we don’t remember any awards show where a hot pink grabbed us, but maybe that just us and our fading memories? Three lovely ladies worked the shade in their own ways and we can’t make up our minds about who looked best. Care to help?

To the left of the picture, Kelly Rowland went ruffled and hot! hot! hot! That is one hell of a pink but it’s totally working on her. In the middle we have Nicki Minaj who wore a softer pink but still made it punk thanks to all that texture. And on the right, Michelle Epps, in a slit-to-there fuschia gown. Question is — who wore pink best? Vote and let us know.

Hailee Steinfeld Strikes A Pose For Miu Miu

You guys know we love Hailee Steinfeld, right? You all seem to agree with us as well, considering you voted her as your “favorite acting ingenue” in our March Celebrity Madness. No doubt she’s got serious acting cred, but she’s now set to take over the fashion world, and Plan A is already well underway. Considering what a smart young lady she is, she’s made the perfect choice to cement her “It Girl” status. Hailee’s posed for Miu Miu‘s new campaign and we think going with Prada‘s sister line is a genius decision!

Look at this photo (it’s the first one released, peeps), and tell us it isn’t fabulous? The black and white frock, the retro glasses, the silver socks, the wedges to die for — it’s the right amount of quirk without trying too hard or without becoming too twee. Which is what Miu Miu’s best at and is therefore, awesome for Hailee. We can’t wait to see the whole campaign. Keep ‘em coming!

Seleber And Katie Cassidy Glam Up Monte Carlo Premiere

Oh to be young, famous and dating a man-child who wears giant red sneakers. Selena Gomez is so lucky! The actress stepped out last night at the Teen Vogue sponsored premiere of her new movie, Monte Carlo. Co-star Katie Cassidy was on hand in pink as was her boyfriend, Justin Bieber. Selena may be young, but she’s already skilled at strategic dating: she’s gone from Joe Jonas to Taylor Lautner to the king of Pubescents, Le Bieber. *Golf clap*

Why, Emily Browning? Why Would You Wear This?

Emily Browning is 22 years old. A spring chicken, if you must. We’re not saying she should drape herself in fuchsia or insane tribal prints, but we’re pretty sure a drab grey shouldn’t be her first choice of color. This outfit is so depressing in so many ways. Okay, so it’s Louis Vuitton and she’s at the amfAR Inspiration gala in Paris — shouldn’t that invoke “fabulous?” Instead she picks a shorts-playsuit combination that is so Dickensian that we feel like calling her Oliver Twist. Don’t even get us started on the sheer knee socks. Or the fact that the shorts are Easy Ways To Camel Toe 101.

Emily — you’re gorgeous, young and have skin, a face and a hot boyfriend (Max Irons, hello) to die for. Lighten the frock up! We like you far too much to see you dressed like this. If you think we’re being way harsh — tough. We kid, you can totally tell us off (or support our fashion policing) in the poll below!

Do You Love Kristen Stewart’s Casual Red Carpet Look?

Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and Garrett Hedlund were all on hand to celebrate New Moon director Chris Weitz‘s latest film, A Better Life. The actors — who will be promoting their own films, On The Road and Abduction, this fall — posed for photos on the red carpet, checked out the movie and hung out at the after party. A Better Life is a step in a different direction for Weitz, who also helmed American Pie and About A Boy. The story follows a Mexican immigrant working in California illegally, as he tries to carve out a better life (OIC what we did there) for him and his son.

We were pleasantly surprised to see that Kristen’s red carpet outfit was as “her” as it could possibly get: black v-neck tee, 7 for Mankind denim jeggings, and some killer Brian Atwood pumps. Kristen later changed into sneakers (duh) for the after party, where she shared some laughs with Chris and Taylor. What do you think of her dressed down look? Do you love it, or do you wish she ditched the jeans for one of her infamous minis?

The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Digs Into Gaga’s Meat Dress

Maybe you’d though that particular flesh ensemble would have ended up in a landfill by now; after all, it’s been nearly a year since the 2010 VMAs. Fortunately for historical memory, the scientific community has jerky technology beyond your wildest imagination. Entertainment Weekly reported that Lady Gaga’s meat dress will be displayed at the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame as part of the Women Who Rock exhibit, where hungry Clevelanders will be leaving hand prints on the glass starting June 16.

Gaga’s wardrobe has moved on to more nipple-oriented fare more recently, but we’ve snapped into a Slim Jim. We know the aliens are going to find this dress 10,000 years from now and assume we all wore raw meat gowns. Maybe that’s Gaga’s ever-lasting legacy to the world: that the future will think the entire human race was this fabulous.

Emma Watson Opens Up In Vogue: “I Have Had No Control Over My Life”

While Emma Watson’s Vogue cover might make the Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part II star seems like just your regular ol’ beautiful billionaire, inside that gorgeous wealthy shell is a human being just like your or us straining to break free. Well, like you or us if we were either good-looking or rich. “I have had no control over my life. I have lived in a complete bubble,” the actress says about her Harry Potter days in the interview. “They found me and picked me for the part. And now I’m desperately trying to find my way through it.” Oh Emma. If only she could know the real freedom that comes from using public transportation, or buying clothes than are worth less than most people’s monthly income. Having an old man fall asleep on you on the bus is the stuff real life is made of!

“I have felt for the last ten years I have had this battle; I’ve been fighting so hard to have an education. It’s been this uphill struggle,” Emma says, with regards to her decision to study briefly at Brown University. “I was Warner Bros.’ pain in the butt. I was their scheduling conflict. I was the one who made life difficult.” As Watson explains, “I have to really enjoy the good things because it makes the bad things OK.” It’s a good thing she has literally tens of millions of good things to enjoy.
