Kristen Stewart looked lovely in this lacy Valentino number (and Brian Atwood heels) at the Welcome to the Rileys premiere in New York last fall. Christina Aguilera showed up at last night’s Mary J. Blige Honors concert wearing the same dress. We love the look, but which starlet really pulls it off?
As if her Sara Burton wedding dress wasn’t gorgeous enough, Kate Middleton’s second gown, which the Duchess of Cambridge slipped into for their post wedding celebrations, was an equally beautiful Alexander McQueen gown with matching angora bolero. Because if you’re going to marry a prince, you might as well do it right. After the ceremony the newlyweds headed to Buckingham Palace, where the couple will celebrate their love at a party thrown by Prince Charles before retiring at the palace for the night. Meanwhile, we’ll be celebrating the death of all strapless wedding dresses (or so our upper arms hope).

Sure it’s Princess Catherine‘s day, but that doesn’t mean we’re not also ogling at the other Middleton lady in white – her sister and maid of honor, Pippa. Both gowns were designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, both are stunning, but which did you prefer?
So much has been written about Kate Middleton’s spectacular Sarah Burton wedding gown, but there’s one thing that truly unites stately monarchs and commoners alike: a bonkers hat or fascinator that would make Lady Gaga spin in her grave. (No, Lady Gaga’s not dead, but she seems like the type who would sleep in a grave just to be different.) Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice went for some serious height with their giant fascinators, while Posh Beckham kept it simple in a tiny black number. (Husband David Beckham arrived with a top hat in hand!)
So join us as we take a closer look at the headgear highlights of Prince William and Kate’s wedding! Just think of it as our wedding gift, guys. No need to thank us. Although a knighthood would be cool.

Good morning! We are up bright in early to weep over Kate Middleton‘s gorgeous wedding gown. The newly crowned Duchess of Cambridge is wearing a long-sleeve dress with lace overlay designed by Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen. According to The Times, her tiara “was given by King George VI to the Queen Mother who later gave it to the Queen as a gift on her 18th birthday.” Her sister and Maid of Honor Pippa Middleton is also wearing Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. Kate’s shoes are McQueen too (we see a trend!). According to Elle UK, Kate apparently did her own make up. What a shocking and wonderfully down to earth move from the future Queen of England. Yep, we’re fangirling!
More pics as we get them!
We love Robert Pattinson in a suit. Recently the actor’s been hitting it out of the ballpark with pops of color, skinny ties and slender cuts. He just walked the carpet at the Berlin premiere of Water for Elephants in an elegant brown suit, a pic of which was sent to us by a co-worker in an email titled “NOM NOM NOM.” Yep, that about sums it up.
More pics to come of Rob and his co-stars on today’s red carpet as they roll in!
Just what the world needs…more Gwyneth Paltrow. She sings! She cooks meatballs! And now, she sells bags as the new face of Coach! Gwyneth has already fronted campaigns for high-end lines like Tods and Christian Dior – so isn’t Coach kinda slummin’ it for our Blond Angel? Apparently she doesn’t think so. Says G to WWD, “I grew up in New York City and I’ve always thought of Coach as the quintessential New York brand. I’ll never forget getting my first Coach bag.”
Neither will we…when we get our first Coach bag someday. Right now our trusty Forever 21 knock-off will have to do! Gwynnie’s ads will start running in September to commemorate the brand’s 70th birthday. Meanwhile the (former) actress is busy promoting her new cookbook My Father’s Daughter. She recently went on Chelsea Lately and told host Chelsea Handler that her grandmother was a “c–t.” Spicy! Just like her meatballs.
Kate Middleton is set to become Her Royal Highness Katherine on Friday, and we could not be more pumped. What’s not to love about royals? They’re rich, impeccably dressed and are addicted to wearing ridiculous hats in public. Royals, they are our soul-mates. In honor of Kate’s upcoming nuptials to Prince William, we’ve collected some of her hottest looks, ranging from regal business suits to skimpy swim suits. She pulls them both off with sass and class. All hail the Queen!
Beyonce was quite easy to spot yesterday in Paris (see what we did there?). The singer went for brunch with hubby Jay-Z at Fouquet’s Hotel wearing a dotty outfit that we actually think is quite cute! Her high-waisted skirt and sky high heels are very lady-like — if you can get past the color blocking and all those dots. We did! But we also think that no one else could pull this off but her. Jay-Z rocked an urban slouchy look, and what can we say — we’re fans of this power couple and whatever they wear! [Photos: Splash News Online]
In the past, Lindsay Lohan has dressed like a really expensive escort for her court appearances. Today she toned it down a bit, replacing that boob-hugging white dress with some high-waisted bell bottoms last seen in our mom’s high school closet. Mock though we may, the look suits LiLo, who complimented her Lanvin pants and shoes with a tight black turtleneck, a white scarf, some shades, and comically large lips full of injection juice. Lindsay is currently in the courtroom for her preliminary hearing in that jewelry theft case that just won’t go away. Hey, at least all this time in front of various judges is giving her ample inspiration for her next role as a mob princess!
