Rob Pattinson’s Busy Week In GIF Wall Form

Rob Pattinson may not have dished the much-desired dirt on his relationship status while hopping from interview to interview promoting Cosmopolis in NYC this week, but he did provide a plethora of must-GIF moments. Over the last four days, Rob ate ice cream on The Daily Show, danced around personal questions on Good Morning America, promised he’s ok on Showbiz Tonight, laughed off awkward questions at TimesTalks, rang the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange and talked about everything but Kristen with MTV’s Josh Horowitz. From his contagious giggle to brooding contemplation to showing his teeth, Rob’s gorgeous, expressive mug is one that should be admired on loop. So have at it!

McKayla Maroney Continues To Be Very Unimpressed

Olympic gymnast/ace vaulter/Internet meme McKayla Maroney has taken her adorable “McKayla Is Not Impressed” face on the press tour. Last night, the Fierce Five delivered Stephen Colbert a pen in a way only they could (on their hands, with flips and split leaps)…McKayla was left less than impressed.

Then the pint-sized fivesome took their charm to The Late Show, where (while sitting on the world’s saggiest couch) they demonstrated what their Mememate had taught them in the art of looking less than enthused.

And if you need to waste an hour or three today, peruse the continuously updated McKayla Is Not Impressed Tumblr (brainchild of VH1′s own Gavin Alaoen!) Our own submission below, from last week’s Dougie lesson on the Today Show:

Sure, we enjoyed the Olympics, but this Tour de Smirks is proving to be even more entertaining.

Aly Raisman’s Parents: Let’s Enjoy Their Olympic Enthusiasm Again And Again

We’ve all heard (or know first-hand) that parents of athletes can be a little enthusiastic about their kids’ sports. Well, that point was definitely proven last night as U.S. gymnast Aly Raisman’s parents watched her compete on the uneven bars during the Olympics qualifying round. Their twisting and turning deserves a medal of its own. We were more nervous watching them than watching the girls on the floor! We are so glad that Aly didn’t catch her parents’ routine while she was on the bars, or else we’re sure she would have ended up laughing along with us. Although, this is probably not the first time her parents have been moving right along with her. One of our favorite parts was when her dad let off steam in the end with that laugh/scream. We were right there with him! (Also, who is the genius who miked them?)

Did Emma Stone And Andrew Garfield Fill Robsten’s Cute Couple Vacuum At The MTV Movie Awards?

Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone YOLO Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield onstage

We long ago established that Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield are ridonkulously cute together. I mean, on their own, we always wanted to be BFFs with each of them, so together, they’re a nuclear fusion of sweet, funny and awesome. That cute was fully on display at last night’s MTV Movie Awards, where Robert Pattinson‘s absence left a big vacancy in the GIF-able couple category. From the moment the Amazing Spider-Man co-stars arrived on the red carpet, they were making us squee. Just take a look at their interview with Kat Graham during the Pre-Show, which began with Andrew hiding behind Emma. When Kat, on duty as MTV’s style correspondent, asked Emma a question about her makeup, she started to answer, and then turned to BF Andrew mid-sentence and said, “You don’t have to be here for this!” “I do!” he protested, and proceeded to look very interested in Emma’s answer. Only boys in the early stages of love can look so absolutely absorbed in such things.
