We’re not that surprised that Glee‘s Dianna Agron pities Lindsay Lohan. She’s just saying what we’re all thinking…and have been since 2006! “It’s really sad looking at people like Lindsay Lohan,” the Glee: The 3D Movie star told Cosmo. “She’s an amazing actress, but you see what happens when people know too much about your personal life. They start not being able to look at you the same way professionally. I don’t want that to happen to me.” Dianna could have easily subbed in the names “Mel Gibson” or “Charlie Sheen” instead, but she didn’t spend high school memorizing all of their lines in Mean Girls, now did she?
Not that Dianna is totally unfamiliar the scrutiny that follows celebrity drama. Earlier this year we heard reports about her break-up with Alex Pettyfer, specifically the rumor that she was “terrified” of the I Am Number Four actor during their split. Clearly Agron is coming from a place of empathy, though maybe publicly discussing how terrible you feel about someone’s sad career downfall, and how you hope you never, ever, ever turn out like them, isn’t the kindest thing that person needs to read. Even if it is completely and incredibly true.
