Glee‘s Mark Salling Responds To Sexual Battery Accusations On The Red Carpet Of All Places

Mark Salling Denies Sexual Battery Accusations

There’s a time and a place for everything, but rarely is the time “right before the SAG awards” and the place “the red carpet” for discussing criminal accusations of sexual battery. We’re guessing Glee‘s Mark Salling would disagree, of course, seeing as how he addressed a new lawsuit against him with E!’s Ross Matthews before the awards ceremony last night. “You hear about fraudulent lawsuits all the time, [but] ’til it happens to you, you really don’t grasp what it does, not to just you but your family,” the Glee star explained. “You want the legal process to happen as fast as possible, but it takes time. I want the chance to defend myself — and I will, vigorously.” Do you think that felt weird to talk about with Nicole Kidman standing five feet away? We imagine it’d be weird to talk about anything with Nicole Kidman standing five feet away.

Apparently the Glee star has been accused by his ex-girlfriend Roxanna Gorzela of a variety of horrible things: allegedly forcing her to have sex without a condom, allegedly grabbing her and allegedly shoving her to the ground where she struck her head. The only thing more awkward than talking about lawsuits and crime on the red carpet is to talk about them on Twitter, which Salling, um, also did. “You kind of have to learn as you go,” Salling said yesterday about dealing with the accusations, “but like anything else you have to stay positive and count on the people that do know you and love you.” And your publicist, who we’re assuming was standing off-camera, frantically waving at Mark not to talk about it right before the awards ceremony.

Michelle Dockery, Naya Rivera Bring Major Sideboob, Cleavage To SAG Awards

Michelle Dockery and Naya Rivera heat up the SAG Awards

More like the not-so-SAG-gy awards, amiright? The Screen Actors Guild (and AFTRA, for those of you who are all union savvy) Awards are considerably less flashy than the Globes and the Oscars, but that doesn’t mean some actresses were going for dull and demure on the red carpet tonight. Dowton Abbey’s Michelle Dockery and Glee’s Naya Rivera, for instance were flashing a little something extra. Michelle’s Ralph Rucci was spiced up with a sheer side panel that left us wondering how she was defying gravity so nicely. Naya’s Donna Karan Atelier was heavy on the texture detailing, which didn’t distract from the nice bit of cleavage she had on display. So on this important night when actors congratulate each other on their very important work, we ask you this very important question:

Lea Michele’s People’s Choice Awards Dress: Do We Like It?

Lea Michele in Elie Saab at the Peoples Choice Awards

Please help us decide about this Elie Saab dress Lea Michele wore to the People’s Choice Awards. Part of us thinks it’s super cute and were we blessed with Lea’s legs, we’d want it right now. Part of us is weirded out by the rectangular cluster of extra sequins strategically placed to hide her private bits. There’s the fact that her body looks slamming in it, but then there’s the fact that it shows a disturbing amount of underboob and would maybe look classier if it were just an inch longer. But the color is so fun! And it is the PCAs we’re talking here, not the Oscars. But she’s making those cheesy poses and faces! But she just won for Favorite Comedic TV Actress!

Seriously, we can’t decide. Will you please do this for us?

American Horror Story: Asylum: Was “The Name Game” Actually An Episode Of Glee?

American Horror Story Asylum Name Game

…And we’re back! Our favorite show, American Horror Story: Asylum went on hiatus over the holidays, leaving us twiddling our thumbs on Wednesday nights without Evan Peters on our screens. We had so many unanswered questions about Briarcliff, Bloodyface and Grace’s baby. Rest assured, our beloved horror show returned last night and progressed the plot line in multiple ways. Sister Jude undergoes electroshock therapy after being diagnosed with manic depression, Grace has Kit Walker’s baby, the Monsignor Timothy O’Hara kills Sister Mary Eunice and Dr. Arden commits suicide to reunite with Sister Mary. Some critics have referred to Ryan Murphy’s AHS as the evil twin of his other show, Glee, and we never felt that way more than after watching last night’s episode. From the dance number to the virginity-losing, Briarcliff was less like an asylum and more like the halls of McKinley High. Here are our favorite Glee-like moments from “The Name Game.”

1.The Name Game – This comparison is by far the most obvious. In the middle of the episode, Lana Winters asks Sister Jude if she knows her own name after receiving electroshock therapy. Without answering Winters, a delirious Sister Jude trudges to the new jukebox in the asylum and selects Shirley Ellis’ classic to play, “The Name Game.” When she plays the song, Sister Jude immediately transforms into a glamorous early ’60s songstress and the bleak patients of Briarcliff get their groove on. Where is Kurt to bust out a showstopper when we need him? While we know this is a dream state and American Horror Story has its absurd moments, we couldn’t help but imagine Ryan Murphy in the writer’s room suddenly deciding to insert a dance number into the episode. Even for AHS, this felt out of place.

Lea Michele Loves Her Boobs, So We’re Counting Down Her 15 Bustiest Looks This Year

Lea Michele expresses her love for her boobs in Marie Claire

“These babies are great. They are my prizewinners,” Lea Michele says of her breasts in the new issue of Marie Claire (via Zap2It). The Glee is refreshingly frank about the body parts she used to flash to the world on a regular basis back in her Spring Awakening days. “For a while, they were out and about, showing off on Broadway every night, then they came to L.A. and were like, ‘No one else looks like me here!’ They were nervous to make their appearance but feel they’ve earned their place. So they asked if they could come out, and I was like, ‘All right, you guys.’ They definitely rose to the occasion, so I’m going to continue to give them more opportunities.”

That statement made us look back at Michele’s fashion choices this year, and indeed, she has been showing them off quite a bit this year. As she said, she doesn’t have a plastic Hollywood body, but we love how she’s been flaunting some cleavage on the red carpet, demonstrating that she’s definitely not Rachel Berry when the cameras are off. Take a look. And if you’re really curious about those “prizewinners,” watch this NSFW clip of Michele and Jonathan Groff getting it on in Spring Awakening.

Shocker Glee Tweet: Why Are Sam And Brittany Dressed In Wedding Outfits?

Tweet With Sam And Heather In Wedding Gear

Can anyone tell us what this is about? Ryan Murphy, the creator of Glee, posted this tweet, “The Wedding Of The Year” along with the photograph you see of Brittany (Heather Morris) and Sam (Chord Overstreet) above. Dressed suspiciously like a bride and groom. So much pretty in this picture, but that’s not the point! Wasn’t this supposed to be Rachel (Lea Michele) and Finn’s (Cory Monteith) wedding? At least that’s what we think was going to happen. This could also be a fake-out, though. Brittany and Sam could very well be a bridesmaid and groomsman. Or this could also be a fantasy sequence. Because Ryan would never give away such a huge plot twist before the actual episode. Because these two are a very, very unlikely couple and there’s no chance in hell that they would get married. Are we right or are we right? Brittany and Santana have broken up (boo!) but we don’t think they’d make a character ricochet so wildly. We also have a feeling that there are a lot of you that feel pretty strongly about this and probably have a lot of other theories about this photograph. We’re all out, so write in and let us know what you think, or if you know something we don’t!

From Friends‘ Spud-nik To PLL’s Vampy Adam Lambert: TV’s Best Halloween Costumes

Our favorite costumes from the Halloween episodes of Friends, Community, Pretty Little Liars and Glee

Halloween means candy corn, haunted houses, and your dad wearing that musty vampire outfit yet again. But it also means Halloween specials on TV! Throughout the years, the small screen has captured the fun of dressing up for the holidays. It’s a time for our favorite characters to get creative and just a tad inappropriate as they sport costumes from the topical, the slutty, or other clever ideas that perfectly reflect their own personalities. Here’s a list of some of our favorite Halloween costumes from TV over the years that may give you some inspiration of what to do…and what not to do.

Best Mystery Costume – The Slutty Pumpkin (How I Met Your Mother): It was that crisp, autumnal night on Halloween when Ted Mosby thought he met the love of his life…in a costume that has become the show’s famed “Slutty Pumpkin.” Though her face was veiled, this mystery woman became the object of Ted’s harvest-filled fantasies. Many years later, we discovered that the woman was none other than Katie Holmes! Even though the costume doesn’t have much originality, we give them props for mocking the “slutty fill-in-the-blank” outfit.

Bruno Mars Brings Back Darren Criss’ “Broccoli Head” Look On SNL, And We Still Love It

Darren Criss on Glee and Bruno Mars on SNL

Now that Klaine are splitsville on Glee (temporarily, we hope!) we’re looking forward to seeing what kind of transformations Kurt and Blaine go through while coping with their emotional distress. And hoping that means at some point Darren Criss will bring back the gel-less “Broccoli Head” look he sported at prom. We were reminded of what a nice change it is to see guys sport their natural curls on Saturday night, when Bruno Mars ditched his usual pompadour for a bushier ‘do as the host and musical guest on SNL. Maybe that was partly due to the fact that it made no sense to sculpt his hair ever so carefully just minutes before stuffing it into a wig. But we’d also like to think this is part of a new trend. Free your locks from their stiff product prison, gentlemen! Ring in the new era of curl!

We were going to credit Darren with this trend at first, but then we spotted a few Tumblrs dedicated to the adorable Mr. Mars (who made a pretty decent comedian this weekend, if you ask us). Turns out, the very week that Blaine was forced to go natural at prom, Bruno also sported curls at the Met Costume Gala. Spooky! (Not really.) Read more…

Happy Spirit Day! 10 Bullies Who Learned Their Lesson

Mean Girls, Back to the Future, Heathers and Glee

Happy Spirit Day, everyone! If you’re not wearing purple today, you can still show your support for bullied victims and LGBT youth in all sorts of other ways (visit for some ideas). We decided to mark this occasion with a look back at the meanest and cruelest bullies of pop culture who got their glorious comeuppance before our very eyes. From Heathers and Back to the Future to Pretty Little Liars and Glee, watching the likes of Heather and Biff get put in their place has made us feel much better about our own torturers. Maybe they even made a few real-life bullies think twice about what they were doing. We hope so!

Michael Trevino, Tyler Blackburn, Stephen Amell And Other TV Hotties Short Circuit Our Brain With This Pic

Stephen Amell, Jay Ryan, Stephen R. McQueen, Dylan O'Brien, Harry Shum Jr., Tyler Blackburn, Justin Hartley, Taylor Kinney and Michael Trevino

I first saw this photo this morning on Arrow star Stephen Amell‘s Facebook feed (like it, you won’t be sorry), and no kidding, all work stopped for a full five minutes. I’m surprised there’s no brain matter splattered on my screen right now. In case you haven’t yet committed the fall TV schedule to memory, here’s who they are, from left to right: Amell, Jay Ryan (Beauty and the Beast), Steven R. McQueen (The Vampire Diaries), Dylan O’Brien (Teen Wolf), Harry Shum Jr. (Glee), Tyler Blackburn (Pretty Little Liars), Justin Hartley (Emily Owens, M.D.), Taylor Kinney (Chicago Fire) and Michael Trevino (The Vampire Diaries). The spread is actually from Bullett Media, who decided to explode our hearts too, by gathering these guys’ quotes about what they look for in a woman.

“I judge a woman purely on how she looks first thing in the morning. That’s the critical point, right?” Amell says. OK, so he’s not all that romantic. But points for honesty!

“If a girl doesn’t get along with my dog, then we’ve got a problem,” McQueen says.

Our personal favorite is from Tyler Blackburn: “I enjoy a certain amount of decadence in my life, so I want to be with someone who shares an appreciation for the finer things. And if that finer thing happens to be fried, well, put it in your mouth.” We’re totally down with that one.

For the rest of the guys’ quotes (especially a surprising revelation from Taylor Kinney, a.k.a. Lady Gaga’s main squeeze), head over to Bullett.
