Last night at the Golden Globes, Murphy confirmed the news, saying “We just finalized a deal with Anne tonight to come onto the show. She’s already created [her role]. She wants to play the lesbian aunt of Chris Colfer. Because everyone needs a lesbian aunt.” Colfer in the past has mentioned that Hathaway is part of his dream Glee cast, saying “Can you imagine a family with myself, Mike O’Malley, Julie Andrewsand Anne Hathaway? That’s one hell of a family!” Seriously! In addition to a cool fictional aunt, Colfer also won the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor in a TV Series last night — not a bad night for the guy.
Ladies and gentleman, look closely at the face of Mila Kunis. This is what your skin will look like if you pay $7,000 for a facial that includes actual diamonds and rubies and ice cubes. Sounds kinky!
Scott-Vincent Borba, Kunis’ face guy, divulged that the Black Swan star’s pre-Golden Globes’ skincare routine would involve an “HD Diamond and Ruby Peel” that’s not even available to the public. Apparently the “rubies act as the antioxidant and the diamonds provide a topical sheen,” and the price makes you sweat, releasing additional impurities. Borba also says that during the treatment, we are not kidding, he makes Kunis suck an ice cube to decrease puffiness. Of her tongue? We guess? While we admit Kunis looked amazing last night, we’d never know she was supposed to look $7,000-skin-treatment amazing.
Let’s just accept this for what it is — just one more example of how the stars are not just like us.
Charmaine Blake is a Hollywood publicist who threw a Golden Globes viewing party last night. You know how they say cream rises to the top? Well, if the cream in this instance is everyone who actually went to the awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, the attendees at Blake’s party were the chunky bits in the bottom of the milk bottle. You know it’s a classy affair when worst dad ever Michael Lohan canoodles happily with worst Nazi stripper ever, Bombshell McGee. Check out all the attendees at this viewing party and cringe that all of these people are “famous” enough to walk a red carpet.
Sandra Bullock‘s bangs made her almost unrecognizable at the Golden Globes last night — maybe she wanted to hide from the wrath of Scarlett Johansson, who is allegedly upset that Bullock andher ex Ryan Reynolds have been seen palling around lately? Well, not really. Bullock actually spoke to Al Roker on the red carpet last night and shot down that rumor in the only way Sandra Bullock knows how, with charm and humor.
Bullock denied that there’s any romance with her The Proposal co-star, saying “I think there will be a collective sigh amongst women across the United States when I say he’s not my lovah. He’s just an amazing friend for 10 years. . .but I don’t get his loving after dark.” Let’s hope ScarJo was in earshot during this part of the interview. Bullock then declared that the only man in her life is her baby, Louis, and said he’s “all I can handle.” From the pictures we’ve seen of Louis, we can barely handle the cuteness ourselves.
Something was in the water at the Golden Globes tonight and that something was glamour. Olivia Wilde, Angelina Jolie, Megan Fox, and Emma Stone have never looked more stunning. The running themes of the night were sparkling shimmer, emerald green, and shades of red. Hailee Steinfeld made her mark as a trendsetter of tomorrow in a simple chic gown while Eva Longoria sizzled in a perfectly curve-hugging Zac Posen. Take a gander at the rest of our picks for best dressed and let us know if we missed any of your faves. [Photos: Getty Images]
There’s no denying the actresses featured in our Golden Globes worst dressed list are beautiful. Some would argue that they could wear a potato sack and look better than most the U.S. population. Sadly for these five lovely ladies, we’re in the business of both praising and criticizing celebrity fashion.
Tonight Halle Berry wore a bizarre black gown, Helena Bonham Carter went stylistically bananas, and Heidi Klum managed to miraculously look less-than-perfect. Gabourey Sidibe chose an unfortunate printed frock and one of our favorite fashionistas Michelle Williams fell from grace. Take a closer look at our top five worst dressed at the 2011 Golden Globes. Did you forget to watch the 2011 Golden Globes this evening? Well, aside from missing out on Ricky Gervais committing career hara kiri in front of an audience filled with Hollywood’s biggest power players, you missed a whole bunch of acceptance speeches with varying levels of grace and aplomb.
Before we get into the tonight’s full list of winners, we would be remiss if we didn’t call attention to Natalie Portman’s bizarre laugh. As TheFABLife buddy Molly Lambert over at This Recording noted on Twitter, Portman’s guttural guffaw sounded a lot like Charlene Yi in Knocked Up. Practice your laugh game before the Oscars, girl!
Though cleavage, high hems and backless gowns often garner all the attention at award shows, we’d like to take a minute to toast tuxedos and the studly actors who so nicely fill them out. Robert Pattinson (photos) notoriously goes from hobo to smokin’ hot for red carpet events, while Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp are veterans of formal affairs. Justin Bieber is surprisingly confident in a tux for a teenager and Ryan Gosling…well, he looks adorable in whatever he’s wearing. From sweet pink to peaches ‘n’ cream to fiery red, the hottest actresses at the Golden Globes were sporting variations of the same hue. Megan Fox, Emma Stone, Natalie Portman, and Lea Michele were pretty in pale tones while Mad Men stars Christina Hendricks and January Jones were bright cherry bombshells. Check out more shades of red below, including those of Claire Danes, Sofia Vergara, Julianne Moore, Edie Falco and Naya Rivera. [Photos: Getty Images]
The stars of Glee may pose as dorks and misfits every Tuesday night, but they’re not fooling us. Beneath the cardigans, cheerleader uniforms and ever-present headbands are actresses as fabulous as the hottest A-listers. While Heather Morris, Naya Rivera, Lea Michele and Dianna Agron went with nude, peaches, and pinks for the Golden Globes red carpet, Amber Riley opted for full-on glitz. Take a closer look below and see the rest of the Glee cast looking their best, including Matthew Morrison, Jane Lynch, Jayma Mays, Mark Salling, and Golden Globe winner Chris Colfer.
