We know we said we were done with the Halloween stuff. But we thought we could make an exception for something ridiculously cute that also has some history with us. We have been emotionally invested with Neil Patrick Harris‘ twins calendar, ever since he debuted it on Letterman a few months ago. Basically, Neil and his partner David Burtka, dress up their adorable twins, Gideon and Harper, in costume up for monthly holidays. The photos of which they’re going to turn into a calender to humiliate them with when they’re all grown up, of course.
It’s a pity they didn’t release this one in time for our celebrity Halloween twitpic gallery. But to be honest, it deserves pride of place. Neil tweeted this photograph of the family dressed up as Captain Hook, Peter Pan, Mr. Smee and Tinkerbell from Peter Pan. Best Halloween picture yet. Can’t wait to see the Christmas and New Year editions.

We have so much material for you that your Halloween costumes should be sorted out for the next couple of years. There are so many options to check out. You could take inspiration from our very own FABlifers or you could take a look at our gallery of celebrity Halloween twitpics. Perhaps the early bird stars who played dress-up over the weekend will float your boat? Don’t see anything you like? Then skedaddle over to Best Week Ever’s rundown of the only 13 celeb Halloween costumes that matter, or VH1 Blog’s ultimate gallery of VH1 stars’ costumes. Our halos are polished to a high shine.
And we’re not done yet. Since yesterday was the last day for trick-or-treating and Halloween costumes, celebrities really outdid themselves. The final few we loved were folks like Calista Flockhart and Harrison Ford who cracked us up by getting their ’80s on as members of Mötley Crüe. Eden Wood from Toddlers and Tiaras was big this year with Chrissy Teigen and Fergie dressing up as her. Kelly Ripa outdid herself on Live! With Regis and Kelly along with Nick Lachey. Their first outfit sequence had Kelly dressed up as Eden as well, and Nick as Charlie Sheen. Their second has Kelly as Kim Kardashian and Nick (on stilts) as Kris Humphries on their wedding day. Ouch! The sexiest prize goes to Miranda Kerr who was the hottest ringmaster ever, and we’d like to give a round of applause to the mommies-to-be as well. Beyoncé was the cutest bumblebee in town, while Jennifer Garner was a witch.
Check out the gallery for the final top 10 celebrity Halloween costumes. We hope you had a FAB weekend.

Here at the FABLife, we’ve spent a lot of time showing you what everyone ELSE has been wearing on Halloween. We’ve given you the best costumes of VH1 stars, the best costumes on Twitter and the best costumes on the red carpet. But there’s one group of people we’ve forgotten about: ourselves! Over the years we’ve all gone trick-or-treating in some outfits that we’d rather forget about. But we figure that if we dish it out, we gotta be able to take it. Plus it would be cruel to deny the world these priceless photos. So without further ado, here are some of our own classic Halloween looks. Some are old and some are recent, some are cute and most are embarrassing. But it’s all us, folks. From the FABLife crew to you, happy Halloween, everybody!

In contrast to us common folk, Halloween is almost like any other day to the rich and famous. Actors and pop stars are accustomed to dressing up in costumes and taking on other characters in their daily lives. That’s why we can always count on celebrities to go all out for this holiday.
With unlimited budgets and often a styling team at their back, the Halloween garb of Hollywood is typically elaborate, funny and hot hot hot. Heidi Klum and Kim Kardashian are known for bringing it year after year in over-the-top sexy ensembles, but have you ever wondered how Harrison Ford pulls off a nun, Martha Stewart looks crawling the red carpet as a cat, or imagined Snooki as the Pickle Queen? You’ve come to the right place. Check them all out, and many more festive celebs, in our gallery of the 40 Most Insane Celebrity Halloween Costumes.
So, we’re a little bit obsessed with Halloween here at VH1 headquarters. (One glance at Best Week Ever should prove that much.) And since I finished my costume a week early this year, I have extra time to enjoy how much every other TV network in the country is also obsessed with the holiday. From vampires and witches to fairy tales and murderers, it’s as good a time to stay indoors as it is to go bobbing for apples — that’s what the kids do these days, right?
Monday: Martha Stewart’s Haunted House
8 p.m. Hallmark
Martha doesn’t do anything halfway, but Halloween has always been an excuse for her to go extra craft-crazy. Tonight, she’s teaching you how to create a haunted house and has Justin Long, one of the least-scary actors on the planet, do something to spook small children. My glue gun is ready!
Tuesday: Zombies: A Living History
8 p.m., History Channel
Lots of historical experts scare the sh– out of me with their talk of how the zombie virus could actually come to be, while actors moan and shuffle in the background. Watch the trailer here and you’ll see why I may stay indoors forever.
Wednesday: American Horror Story
10 p.m., FX
As anyone who’s ever watched anything before knows, Halloween is the night when the barrier between the living and the dead is thinnest. That’s got to make living in a haunted house extra fun! What’s even more fun/super creepy? Having Zachary Quinto as your interior decorator.

Jessica Alba was seen with daughters Honor and Haven at Mr. Bones Pumpkin Patch in West Hollywood, CA. [Photo: Splash News Online]
New mom Jessica Alba took her daughters to Hollywood’s famous Mr. Bone’s Pumpkin Patch yesterday to stock up on some Halloween spirit. In fact, this is Jessica’s second trip to the patch this week, taking home a whole cart full of pumpkins each time. This lady is clearly into Halloween! Or maybe she’s searching for the epic Great Pumpkin of Charlie Brown lore. The actress got a hand from 3-year old Honor Marie Cash, who looked like she was having a blast out in the field. Newborn Haven Garner Warren was confined to her baby stroller, so she was slightly less help to the pumpkin selection process. But still, we’re sure she had fun too. Check out the not-so-spooky Halloween cuteness in the gallery below!

I scream, you scream, we all scream because there are hideous freaks surrounding Demi Lovato! Luckily those mutants happen to be friendly freaks, or else the “Skyscraper” singer would probably be having second thoughts about visiting Universal Studio’s Hollywood Halloween Horror Nights. Joining Demi and Universal’s motley crew of demonic beasts was a host of other celebs, including Wilmer Valderrama, Chad Michael Murray and an extremely skittish Elijah Wood. Though really, is there any other kind of Elijah Wood? Meanwhile, you know David Arquette suspected he was going to go out like that all along…

Heidi Klum looks like she had a blast yesterday, at celebrity favorite Mr Bones Pumpkin Patch in L.A. The supermodel was out there filming promotional pieces for AOL. Even though it was technically business, Heidi made sure she had fun carving and taking silly photos with pumpkins. It’s in character with her personality since we know that Heidi and her husband Seal are the one of the most light-hearted couples in town and definitely love to goof off! This is how we like her best, although we know most men would completely disagree — dressed down, smiling and making everyone else smile too!
