Harry Potter Stars Sad To Let Go

60570961

Alas, Hermione Granger doesn’t have a Time Turner to relive the past this time, so as the final Harry Potter wraps filming, it’s official: The saga has ended.

The stars of the films, some of whom have been acting in the same roles since they were ten years old, are pretty sad to see the franchise they’ve spent half their lives working on come to a close. Daniel Radcliffe said at the National Movie Awards in London “I will be devastated [when it's over]. There is nothing I watch without it triggering a series of memories. Everything [about the films] is so linked to my life. At the same time, it is exciting. It is the end.” Emma Watson said the end of Potter “[feels] like someone is dying,” but also sees the positive, explaining that “This kind of love and recognition is just incredible. It is also really emotional for me. I am proud.”

The final installments of the Potter series will be released as two films. Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part 1 will release in November this year, and part 2 will release in July 2011.

Daniel Radcliffe Wants To Look Like Soccer Stud Cristiano Ronaldo

SPL137596_004

Once upon a time Harry Potter grew up, and went nekkid while acting in Equus on both Broadway and the West End. Now he wants to channel the uber-sexy soccer player, Cristiano Ronaldo. Did we mention how much we adore Daniel Radcliffe (especially now that he’s totally legal)?

Radcliffe is apparently getting into serious shape for his shirtless role as a window cleaner in the Broadway show How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. He’s workin’ on his fitness, so that he can look like Ronaldo by the time he get’s on stage.

A source revealed, “Daniel wants to completely re-sculpt his body and has taken Ronaldo as his inspiration. He envies his muscle definition and is hoping to get a similar six-pack for himself. Daniel is taking his fitness regime really seriously. He’s stopped drinking, knocked the fags on the head and is watching every mouthful. He put on a little timber last year and is keen to get down to a more svelte shape. He’s already lost nearly a stone in the past month.” We’ll be queuing for tickets.

Twilight Hunk And Potter Star To Walk Down Aisle?

bonnie-wright-jamie-campbell-bower

Try not to scream for one second, kids. Harry Potter heroine Ginny Weasley and Twilight‘s Caius are reportedly engaged. Bonnie Wright, who plays the flame-haired key to Harry’s heart, and Jaime Campbell Bower – icy, cruel Caius to Twi-hards -  have been the epicenter of  rumors ever since witnesses overheard them talking about wedding plans at a Gucci party in London last week.

The news is a tad incestuous too, since Jamie is slated to play Gellert Grindelwald in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.” It’s a match made in franchise heaven! Oh, and Ms. Wright was also trying to hide a really big rock on her left hand all evening.  You may resume screaming now.

Harry Potter May Ride His Nimbus 3000 Again

Harry Potter nerds everywhere, get ready to pee your Invisibility Cloaks with excitement: Author J.K. Rowling has confessed that she hasn’t ruled out writing another book in the Potter series.

During the annual White House Easter Egg Roll on Monday, Rowling attended and took questions from the kids in attendance and said that she plans to continue writing, saying, “I’m quite sure in the not-too-distant future I will bring out another book.”

Not necessarily a Harry Potter book, mind you, just a new book. When asked specifically about the Potter series, she said she may revisit those characters “maybe 10 years from now.” We’re not sure we can wait that long; why must you wave this in our faces only to withhold it for ten more years, J.K.? We can’t even wait for the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 to come out and that’s in theaters everywhere November 19, 2010! We need a butterbeer to calm ourselves and get our fan-fiction-writing juices flowing in the meantime. [Photo: Getty Images]
