Looks pretty gnarly, right? We’re sending tons of good wishes to the celebrity who tweeted this picture from the hospital yesterday. Any guesses about who it is? Read more…
Oh jeez, you guys. This just does not end. According to TMZ, Lindsay Lohan was taken to the emergency room at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York last night; according to their sources, the Liz & Dick actress is battling a “bad lung infection,” one of the five worst phrases to write after anything but the words “Lindsay Lohan doesn’t have a.” Does what we just said make sense? We don’t know! We’re so genuinely heart-broken for this lady; we can’t even tell anymore!
Other than grappling with that whole hit-and-run situation last week (along with new reports that she’s allegedly planning to sue her accuser), Lindsay seems to have spent most her time in NYC with her friend artist Domingo Zapata and his children. Lohan allegedly told friends recently she was fighting “walking pneumonia.” Fortunately she was prescribed medication and released from the E.R. shortly after her arrival, but the whole situation reminds us of those reports back in June claiming Lindsay was found unconscious in her hotel room during the Liz & Dick shoot. Later Lohan claimed she was merely resting. How we wish this girl was resting. She needs to lie on a couch for the foreseeable future. It’s what everyone else dreams of doing when they get home every night. Why not Lilo?

Poor Rihanna. Putting out an album every year seems like it’s taking a toll on the singer’s health. Entertainment Tonight reports she was rushed to a New York City hospital after her fabulous attendance at the Met Gala Monday night. One of her followers asked her why she had been quiet all day when Rihanna replied by tweeting a photo of an IV in her arm. She didn’t give a reason why she was in the hospital, but according to Entertainment Tonight a source tells them she “had a fever and flu since last week and needed an IV but is fine now.” Read more…
We really hope this story doesn’t turn out to be true. RadarOnline is reporting that Tila Tequila was just released from hospital yesterday after suffering from a brain aneurysm and a drug overdose! Sources told the site that she had to be admitted last week because: “Tila threw up all over her bed after overdosing and felt like she was dying. She was screaming for help, and in desperation, broke her bedroom window and attempted to jump out.” The story gets even worse, as the source added, “Finally a friend came over after getting a strange text from her and found her convulsing on the bed. He called an ambulance and she was taken to the hospital.”
Apparently, Tila has been in two hospitals in the space of one week, because she — according to the same sources — had a brain aneurysm in the middle of the night and because of it, panicked and took two bottles of unspecified heavy prescription drugs, which led to her overdosing. She has supposedly been in the intensive care unit all week and still can’t speak properly. If this story is true, then it’s completely horrifying and we wish her all the luck with recovery.

Kevin Federline was hospitalized a couple of hours ago in Sydney, Australia, after suffering from chest pains and a racing pulse. He was rushed to Mt Druitt Hospital for a suspected heart attack, but fortunately, tests reveal that he hasn’t had one. K.Fed is on the continent filming the Aussie weight-loss show Excess Baggage, and he started having the trouble during a challenge involving an Australian football team.
A rep for TV network Nine explained, “Kevin was at Doonside with the Greater Western Sydney Giants, completing an AFL-related challenge. He did this challenge, which was running and catching the ball, then while his in-series weight-loss partner was taking the same challenge, he reported chest pains and a racing heart. Obviously on this show we have a lot of paramedics on standby and they treated him for the first signs of a minor cardiac arrest, called an ambulance and had him taken to hospital.” He is currently being monitored, even though an ECG test revealed it wasn’t a heart attack. The spokesperson added, “They want to do blood tests, and he is likely to be there until at least late night Monday.” We hope he feels better soon and gets back on his feet.
Tracy Morgan suddenly fell unconscious at Sundance just last night and had to be rushed to a hospital. He was being honored at the Creative Coalition Spotlight Awards in Park City, and the incident happened as he was exiting the building after giving his speech. While sources told TMZ that he appeared to be under the influence of something at the event, Amy Roberts, a spokeswoman for Park City Medical Center stated that no drugs or alcohol were found in his system. Tracy’s spokesperson, Lewis Kay, revealed a different cause: “From a combination of exhaustion and altitude, Tracy is seeking medical attention. He is with his fiance and grateful to the Park City Medical Center for their care. Any reports of Tracy consuming alcohol are 100 percent false.” We wish him a speedy recovery.

George Michael is in hospital in Vienna, as of yesterday, as he has pneumonia and “he is currently receiving treatment”, his rep, Connie Filippello confirms in a statement. The singer is reportedly at Vienna’s AKH hospital. Unfortunately, he had a number of performances in Strasbourg, France, and Cardiff, Wales, which have now been postponed, and will be rescheduled. Things went from bad to worse for Michael at the start of the week when he had to cancel a performance in Vienna just two hours before he was going to perform. We wish him all the luck with his recovery.
Don’t worry, she’s okay. Reese Witherspoon was struck by a car yesterday while she was out jogging in Los Angeles. Luckily, the car was only going 20 mph, because it could’ve been a lot worse if it was going faster. The Santa Monica Police Department were quick to react and a spokesperson has confirmed, “Reese Witherspoon was hit by a car on Wednesday and sustained minor injuries.”
Reese was rushed to a local hospital, but she was quickly released and is now comfortably resting at home. TMZ updates read that the driver was an 84-year-old woman who didn’t stop when Reese was crossing the street. The driver was cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian.
Considering the man got hit by a taxi, it makes sense that Gavin DeGraw’s concerts have been canceled for the next couple weeks. It makes less sense that DeGraw plans to definitively join Train and Maroon 5 for a concert August 24. How do they know if that’s enough time for him to heal from a “concussion, broken nose and other injuries”? Even DeGraw tweeted yesterday, “Still sometimes seeing double. NYC looks overpopulated.” So, what, on August 24 his manager will just open the trapdoor under Gavin’s sick bed and drop him directly onto a piano bench? Actually, we would pay a lot money to see that…so we’re back on-board with the whole deadline idea!
DeGraw’s rep released a statement today confirming that the singer would need “additional time to recover” from his attack earlier this week, and would have to skip 8 concert dates that stretch from tomorrow night until the 22. According to US Weekly, new details about Gavin DeGraw’s attack suggest that that the musician was beat up at random. “These guys jumped him out of nowhere,” a source claim. “It’s weird because they didn’t take anything, I think they did it for sport.” This might be cruel, but we hope those attackers’ loved ones all had tickets to Gavin DeGraw concerts that they can longer use.
Gavin DeGraw is in hospital currently after being brutally assaulted in New York City yesterday. He’s believed to be in stable condition at the Bellevue Hospital now after being attacked around 4.30 in the morning in Manhattan. Apparently, the singer was out with friends when a “pack of thugs” went at him on the street leaving him with a broken nose among other injuries. To make matters even worse, after he was viciously beaten, he was hit by a taxi when getting away.  There’s not much else to go on at the moment, but his people have released a statement saying, “Gavin DeGraw was assaulted … and was taken to the emergency room at Bellevue Hospital by ambulance. He is currently under observation. We have no additional information at this time.” What an awful story. Any leads on who did this to him? We’re wishing him a speedy recovery and will keep you posted on more details as and when they surface.
