Almost as sad as Ryan Dunn’s death is seeing an incredibly distraught Bam Margera talk about his friend in the press. Even sadder is that is the fact that Dunn’s car accident wasn’t his first. In fact, he had a tendency toward reckless driving. “He flipped me in a car eight times at the same exact spot in 1996,” a visibly upset Margera said in an interview with E!. “Thank God I had my seat belt on, because Chris Raab put one on me, but my brother didn’t have one on. He flew 40 feet. Thank God he’s alive. But like, Dunn was always a maniac at driving.”
Despite being hurt by Roger Ebert’s tweets calling out Dunn for his drunk driving, Margera says he feels consoled by everyone who has reached out to him, including acquaintance Brad Pitt. “He has a goddamn Porche, and he drives fast.” Margera says of his late pal, before explaining,”He was my best f–king friend in the world. It’s been five days now and I can’t stop crying man. I just don’t think it should’ve been him.”

TMZ is reporting that Jackass star Ryan Dunn died in a car crash late last night in West Goshen Township, PA. Dunn tweeted a photo of himself drinking earlier that night, though it is unclear who was driving the vehicle. Aside from his notorious exploits on the hit MTV show and movie series—which included visiting a doctor with a toy car up his butt—Dunn starred in Bam Margera‘s film Haggard, and just began hosting Proving Ground on G4, a show devoted to testing whether video game tricks could be replicated in real life. He was also set to make the pot comedy Mustache Riders with Bam Margera, Johnny Knoxville and Willie Nelson. Dunn turned 34 earlier this month.

Not content to riff on Inception, Johnny Knoxville and the gentleman of Jackass take on Best Movie winner’s The Social Network as well. Bam Margera makes a strong yet naked argument, while Knoxville makes a perfect Jesse Eisenberg in our grandmother’s Saturday night wig. We’re sure David Fincher and the gang are happy to takes the insults, since it also means they took home a CCMA.
Jackass star Bam Margera was taken to the ICU at Chester County hospital after being beaten black and blue with a bat, by 59-year-old Elizabeth Ray. The assault went down early in the morning outside Margera’s bar in West Chester, PA. Apparently there was a fight of some sorts, which is when Ray allegedly smacked him in the back of the head with a baseball bat. Ouch! She’s being charged on five counts by the police.
TMZ spoke to Steve-O who said Margera had been released from intensive care. He added, “I think he’s gonna be okay.” Let’s hope that for once Steve-O is right about something.
