Katherine Webb insisted that she was “the anti-Kardashian” after bursting into America’s hearts last month by…well, watching a football game while being hot, basically. The national crush on quarterback A.J. McCarron’s girlfriend Katherine Webb just will not go away! Only two weeks after shooting to viral super-stardom, the former Miss Alabama has been fielding offers left and right for various TV gigs. Last week she accepted a spot as an Inside Edition Super Bowl commentator, and now she’s signed on for a slightly less illustrious job: Appearing on a new Celebrity Diving series on ABC. A celeb wha? Apparently the show is exactly what it sounds like. “Celebrities” will appear on camera leaping from tall places into water. Presumably they will all be in bathing suits, so we guess the program does have something going for it. Other familiar faces to appear on the show will include ex-Baywatch babe Nicole Eggert, former Girl Next Door Kendra Wilkinson, Drake Bell, basketball legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and…Louie Anderson, who will single-handedly cancel out any and all bikini hotness that may arise on the program.
It’s kind of a surprising move for Webb to join the cast, considering her vow to be “the anti-Kardashian.” Apparently the media glare also put a strain on her relationship with A.J. McCarron, who felt that all the attention on his girlfriend stole the glory from his BSC Title victory. She had previously placed herself under a self imposed media ban, but we guess that’s coming to a rapid end. According to TMZ, she has now hired a publicist to deal with her many bookings, and will live out her 15 minutes of fame via reality shows, special one-off TV events and hot Twitter pics. Just like a certain K-family that we all know and love…

On Tuesday it was revealed that she was tapped to appear in Sports Illustrated’s iconic Swimsuit Edition, and now she’s being asked to be Super Bowl correspondent for Inside Edition!
Her popularity skyrocketed during the BSC Championship Title game when ESPN commentator Brent Musburger singled her out of a crowd and proceeded to semi-charmingly/semi-creepily compliment her undeniable beauty. In the days that followed she gained over 250,000 Twitter followers (growing more every moment, we’re sure) and was asked to judge Miss America personally by beauty pageant baron Donald Trump.
Her latest gig on Inside Edition is set to start on January 28th, just in time for the pre-Super Bowl XLVII lead-up. The lovely Ms. Webb calls the new post “an honor and a dream come true,” and promises to ”give fans an insider’s look at what goes on as the teams prepare to battle and as the fans get ready to cheer on their favorites.” Does Beyonce have some competition as the hottest part of the Big Game? Most times it’s just awkward and you have to pretend the next bus stop is yours, but it looks Alabama QB AJ McCarron‘s girlfriend Katherine Webb is the exception to the rule. After ESPN commentator Brent Musburger swooned over the former Miss Alabama’s striking good looks during the BCS Title game, Webb will be posing for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue this February. Ugh, wait until Brent finds out. Now he’ll never stop pointing out pretty women!
Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron’s girlfriend Katherine Webb blew up the internet yesterday for (1.) being incredibly hot, and (2.) getting pretty aggressively crushed on by ESPN commentator Brent Musberger during Monday night’s BSC Title game. The veteran broadcaster came under fire for singling the lovely Ms. Webb out, and has generally been made out to be a bit of a dirty old man. But now Katherine is coming to Brent’s aid, defending him during an appearance on NBC’s Today Show this morning.
“I think the media’s been unfair to him,” she said during an interview with Matt Lauer. “If he would have said something along the lines of we were hot or sexy or made any derogatory statements like that, I think it would have been a little bit different. The fact he said we were both beautiful and gorgeous, I don’t see why any woman wouldn’t be flattered by that. So, I think that they’ve been unfair to him.” Beautiful and gracious: A.J. is a lucky man.
Things are getting even better for the former Miss Tennessee. Miss America baron Donald Trump is apparently going to ask her to get involved with the iconic Atlantic City event this year. ”We are going to ask Katherine Webb to be a judge at the Miss USA Pageant coming up in Las Vegas,” he tweeted today. But it probably got lost in the shuffle of her Twitter feed. Her followers jumped from just over 2000 to over 234,000 in two days!
Last night a bunch of big dudes from Notre Dame and Alabama threw the ol’ pig skin around for something called the BCS Title game, which we have on good authority is a big deal. Alabama technically won the game, but the real champ of the evening was without a doubt Katherine Webb! No, the former Miss Alabama did not slap on a helmet and go head-to-head against the Fighting Irish, but she is dating Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron.
Veteran ESPN commentator Brent Musburger seemed a little more than smitten when cameras picked Miss Webb out of the bleachers during the game, and gave a ramble that earned him tons of dirty old man points on the internet. ”When you’re a quarterback at Alabama … you see that LOVELY lady there … she’s also Miss Alabama .. and that’s A.J. McCarron’s girlfriend. Wow, I’m telling, you quarterbacks, you get all the good lookin’ women.” It might not read all that creepy, but trust is…it is. He then offered a helpful piece of advice to the youth of the Heart of Dixie. ”So if you’re a youngster in Alabama, start gettin’ the football out and throwin’ it around the backyard with pops.”
