This year’s Grammy Awards were very good to Lady Antebellum and Arcade Fire (winners of Song/Record of the Year and Album Of The Year, respectively). They were not, however, quite as good to the ten people that you’ll see below. Whereas the likes of Rihanna and Jennifer Lopez scored high in our gallery of the Top 15 Sexiest Grammy Awards outfits, we had some reservations about some of the fashion choices made by Lady Gaga, Kate Hudson, Cee Lo Green, Lenny Kravitz and more this evening. Sure, some of these outfits weren’t meant to be taken seriously (hi Cee Lo!), but they still had us scratching our heads and asking ourselves, “WTF?!?”

Did you miss Lady Gaga? Ha ha, that was a trick question! Get it? Because she never went away. That said, it remains clear that we’re in the early stages of what will surely be a new and possibly more intense phase of Gagamania.
It was just two days ago that Lady Gaga dropped “Born This Way,” the first single and title track off her new LP; not surprisingly, the song shot straight to the top of the iTunes Singles Chart. Tonight, she arrived at the Staples Center in Los Angeles for tonight’s 53rd Annual Grammy Awards in the most unusual fashion. Yes, that’s right, Lady Gaga showed up for the Grammys in an egg.
A photo of Lady Gaga‘s upcoming Vogue cover leaked on Twitter late last night, with Vogue confirming to MTV News that it was legit, with an “official” version out next week. The photo, reportedly taken by Mario Testino, has Gaga wearing a pink wig and a dress by Haider Ackermann. Not sure this is a look for the history books, but it’s sure to sell all right. Gaga’s Rolling Stone cover was the mag’s biggest seller of 2010, and her Cosmopolitan and Vanity Fair covers were big sellers as well. You can’t go wrong with Gaga, really.
The veil says “somebody died,” the neckline and corset says “someone’s getting laid” and if anything says “buy Polaroid products,” it’s lost on us. Lady Gaga chose this dour and (relatively) tasteful ensemble to wear at the International Electronic Consumer Products Show in Vegas yesterday, where she showcased her new “Grey Label” line, which includes a wireless printer and picture-taking sunglasses. Is that why she wouldn’t take hers off?

If you predicted that one of Lady Gaga’s New Year’s resolutions for 2011 would be to keep her pants on, well, better luck next year! While you were busy recovering from your hangover on New Year’s Day, the queen of the Little Monsters sent out a tweet to her 7.5 million followers that read “THE SONG 2 13 11 THE RECORD 5 23 11.” Translation? Her song, “Born This Way,” will be dropping on February 13 and her highly anticipated album of the same name on May 23. She also included a Twitpic (above left) that we, being the classy and reputable site that we are, couldn’t republish without pixelating. Normally, we’d say “Let your imagination run wild,” but in the case of Lady Gaga (PHOTOS), it’s nothing we haven’t seen before.
How apt that it was a full moon yesterday? Perhaps that’s why this celebrity was inspired to get cheeky and show off her own full moon. Dressed in fishnets and fleshy teeny-tiny pants and a leather jacket, this star decided to let it all hang out while hanging out in a gorgeous European city. One question though: Isn’t it supposed to be cold? Find out who the star is after the jump… [Photos: Getty Images]
Perez Hilton tried to show up flamboyant fashioninista Lady Gaga when he unveiled her wax figure at Madame Tussauds in Los Angeles last night. But try as he might, Perez’s Cheshire Cat look was no match for faux-Gaga’s lace and fineness. The blogger then proceeded to grope the life-sized candle, the last of eight wax Lady Gaga statues unveiled at Madame Tussauds’ around the world yesterday. “I think they saved the best for last,” he gushed to MTV News. “It’s creepy that it’s so real. I kept waiting for her to blink, but she didn’t. It’s very accurate. I know that Gaga would be very honored.” But how would she feel about it being presented by a wild-eyed dude in a massive onesie? Now that we think about it, we bet she’d approve. Props, Perez!
It’s a good thing Madame Tussaud’s stuck a telephone on top of their latest statue—we might not realize this was supposed to be Lady Gaga otherwise. Though the figure unveiled in London doesn’t really capture Gaga’s facial…shall we say, je nose sais quoi…this muting of her features probably won’t stop fans from hitting “fierce” poses beside her bust. Statues of siren—with varying sizes of schnozz—will also be unveiled in Amsterdam, Berlin, Hong Kong, Las Vegas, London, New York and Shanghai. See photos in the gallery below.
You’d think Lady Gaga would be feeling great these days. After all, she just got six Grammy nominations! She even got an Album Of The Year nod for her Fame Monster EP—most people have to make a whole album to get one. So why did she look so glum at a Chanel boutique in Milan earlier today? Maybe she’s mourning her “dead” Twitter (celebs may have overestimated how much fans would miss their social networking), or just pissed that “Bad Romance” won’t get a shot at Song or Record Of The Year. But hey, if you’re going to mope in public, at least mope in a studded goth-gimp outfit and veil! See more photos of Gaga’s get-up in the gallery below.
