The Olympics may be over, but we’re holding on to memories of cheering on our favorite athletes for dear life. There’s something truly beautiful about the Olympic Games and how it unites a country (and gives us something to talk about in an awkward elevator encounter). We do not want to say goodbye! That’s why we spent today looking for ways to indulge in the games for just a little while longer. Something tells us some of the Games’ breakout stars will never be too far from our radar! For now, here are 10 of our favorite ways to not let go of the 2012 Summer Olympics:
1. Ryan Lochte will be appearing on an upcoming episode of the CW’s 90210. He will cross paths with recently reunited couple Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) and Max (Josh Zuckerman) at a resort, where they are attempting to strengthen their relationship. For his sake, we hope he acts better than he interviews!
2. Have you seen Michael Phelps in the new Louis Vuitton ad? If your answer is “Hmmm I don’t remember…” then no, you haven’t seen it because it is definitely unforgettable! Michael Phelps has proven to be more than just a trendy athlete to love. He overcame a bad reputation and is now only regarded of as the most decorated Olympian of all time.
3. We can’t get enough of the McKayla Maroney Is Not Impressed meme, and we know it’s not going anywhere anytime soon. Her unimpressed face photobombs the most perfectly chosen images throughout the day. McKayla got in on the fun when Aly Raisman tweeted this photo of Maroney, Kyla Ross and herself standing outside a closed swimming pool.
It’s no secret that birthday girl Mila Kunis is one of Hollywood’s hottest celebs. As evidenced by her July Interview spread, the 29-year-old seems to be getting even more gorgeous with each passing year. We’ve previously discussed how her perfectly shaped and bold eyebrows may totally be putting Mila on a whole new level of beauty, but this girl seems to be pretty much working everything she’s got. She is striking in an unconventional way that makes us ever so intrigued about what’s going on behind her large, dark eyes. She is mysterious while simultaneously being the girl-next-door … well, if you live near extremely attractive people.
OK, so clearly we have a girl crush on Mila but please tell us how it is possible not to. Not only is she one stunning lady but she radiates a refreshing confidence that is hard not to admire. Starring in successful movies like Ted, Black Swan, Friends With Benefits and The Book of Eli, Mila has demonstrated a unique amount of depth in her acting, talent that may just be the cause for her unflinching self-assurance. Not only can she completely transform into a manipulative ballerina in Black Swan but she also has a knack for comedy, apparent from her long-term involvement in shows like That ’70s Show and Family Guy.
While we might still have mixed feelings regarding Kunis’ recent romance with Ashton Kutcher, we definitely are not confused about how we feel about Mila. This girl is a winner. So without further ado, take a look at 29 of her hottest looks to celebrate the day this wonderous woman was born.

Lea Michele went on a filming marathon this weekend as she and some of her fellow Glee costars filmed on location all around New York City. And we mean all around. It seemed exhausting, but on the upside it gave her a chance to bust out some seriously killer skirts! The starlet traveled up and down Manhattan showing off some dance moves and flaunting her fab legs.Just looking at all the wardrobe changes kind of wears us out! She was filmed in Battery Pack mouthing No Doubt’s “Don’t Speak” to boyfriend Corey Monteith, strolling 14th Street with Chris Colfer and hanging out with Dean Geyer around Washington Square Park.
Lea stuck to loose sundresses for her personal attire over the weekend, but the preppy fall couture she was forced to don as Rachel Berry have been pretty rough considering the summer heat! The shoot had more costume changes than a Lady Gaga concert, so we collected her 10 leggiest looks from just this weekend alone! OK, so we snuck in one that wasn’t from the shoot, but a pic she tweeted from her new Candies ad campaign. But we bet you’ll get over it. Enjoy the hot legs, cool clothes, and sneak peek from the upcoming 4th season of the hit series!

We’re used to seeing the most absolutely delicious photos of Ryan Lochte. Those chiseled abs, that million-dollar smile, those eyes that look right through to our souls…that happens for you guys too, right? We thought so. Well our boy Ry is turning 28 today! And what’s he doing to celebrate? Well, his run in the 2012 Olympics is over after receiving silver in the 200m individual medley and bronze in the 200m backstroke on Thursday, so he’ll be cheering on his fellow team USA competitors. Even though he calls his results in London just “a little above average,” he really does make us so proud. He is coming home with two golds, two silvers and one bronze, not to mention a “Call Me Maybe” parody and a tweet of support from his all time fave, Lil Wayne (maybe Weezy heard our plea.)
We have learned that Lochte may not be the best rep from men’s swimming to interview, but he is one of the most successful! On top of his collection of medals, Lochte also fancies himself a designer with the limited edition line of footwear that he put together with Speedo (be sure to check out the green, rhinestone-encrusted high-tops). But what’s one thing we love the most about Lochte? It’s how he can pull off the most ridiculous facial expressions and still be totally charming! Whether it’s in the pool, on deck, in an interview or at a shoot, Lochte has shown us just how hot he really is even when caught on camera in the silliest of ways.

What happens when you put a bunch of exquisitely toned individuals — all amped up and stressed out for the most anticipated day of their lives — and put them in a small space for two weeks? The answer is: a lot of sex. How much is “a lot,” you ask? Well according to E! News, Olympic officials put in an order for 100,000 condoms to be made available to athletes in the Olympic Village. Considering there are an estimated 10,000 international sports stars gathered for the 16-day event, that’s a pretty (in)decent amount of sex.
“There’s a lot of sex going on,” U.S. Women’s Soccer goalie Hope Solo confirmed to ESPN. “With a once-in-a-lifetime experience, you want to build memories, whether it’s sexual, partying or on the field. I’ve seen people having sex right out in the open. On the grass, between buildings, people are getting down and dirty.” Hopefully, no judges were present.
But surely that’s just a few free spirits, right? “I’d say it’s 70 percent to 75 percent of Olympians” says U.S. swimmer Ryan Lochte. And he’d know: it’s rumored that he’s doing the doggie paddle with fellow swimmer Blair Evans of Australia. We’re not sure what will happen to their flame once the Olympic flame goes out, but it’s a proven fact that the Games are a fantastic place to meet a partner. Don’t believe us? Just ask Roger Federer, Kristi Yamaguchi, Lindsay Vonn and other champs who came for a medal and left with a partner! Head on down to the gallery below and read eight tales of love and romance during the Olympics!

Let’s be real, we can’t make it through an entire Olympics without a scandal or two surfacing, but that’s what happens when you gather thousands of perfectly sculpted and hard-trained athletes from around the world and have them compete for ultimate bragging rights — best in the WORLD! And as someone who races strangers up the subway platform daily for no reward at all, I understand competitiveness. But sometimes the intense pressure drives professional athletes to do stupid things and with so much at stake, Olympians are scrutinized and closely watched even when they are playing fair. We’ve gathered 10 Olympic Scandals in the last 20 years (we had to narrow it down somehow!) including two very recent Olympic controversies.
10. Ye Shiwen, 2012 Summer Olympics, London
After setting a world record winning the women’s 400-meter individual medley on Saturday, Chinese swimmer Ye Shiwen caught the eye of many. The 16-year-old swam the final 25 meters of the women’s race faster than Olympic champion Ryan Lochte swam the final 25 meters of the men’s individual medley to win the gold. On Monday, Ye swam in the 200-meter individual medley scoring the fastest qualifying time, setting yet another world record. So it should be of no surprise (unfortunately) that the teen is facing accusations of using performance enhancing substances. At this time, Ye maintains her innocence saying, “There’s absolutely no problem with the doping.” We hope not, Ye, we love a good clean fight.
The only thing hotter than the weather this sweltering July was our Twitter feed! Celebrities of every stripe were tweeting teasingly scandalous photos that were not always safe for work (unless you work for VH1 Celebrity, in which case, it’s cool). It seemed like there were more super sexy skin-filled Twitpics in July than in the rest of 2012 combined! Maybe it’s global warming?
Selena Gomez modeled a selection from her new bikini style line, while Adrianne Curry modeled her BDSM-inspired Comic-Con outfits. Rihanna tweeted so many sun-drenched photos from her never-ending Mediterranean vacation that we’re starting to imagine that we were there. Some celebs, like Aubrey O’Day, Heidi Klum and, of course, Coco, tweeted up-close and personal pics of their favorite body parts (spoiler alert, it was usually boobs or butts) and reps from the Kardashian Klan went more for the full body shots. The Spears sisters both weighed in with bangin’ bikini shots of their own, and High School Musical soul sisters Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens did the same.
We had hot moms like Jada Pinkett-Smith, Sofia Vergara, Vanessa Minnillo and Jessica Alba. And Kris Humphries’ rumored GF Myla Sinanaj shared a pic to prove she’s gonna be a hot mom in the near future. And of course models like Candice Swanepoel, Bar Refaeli and Tyra Banks turned even the most humble Instagrams into glam shots worthy of GQ and beyond. If you can’t stand the heat, stay out of the gallery below. But if you want the sexiest Twitpics of July 2012, you’re in the right place!
For some, the Olympics Opening Ceremony (this Friday night!) is space filler until we get to the real action. For others its a chance to see a giant variety show performed for the world. Personally, we like it because it’s a fantastic geography lesson. There are always countries we didn’t even know about, strutting through the arena in amazing traditional costumes — or not. Yeah, the uniforms chosen for opening night are really hit or miss — sometimes beautiful fashion statements, sometimes spectacular fails, sometimes just boring and formal. And as we looked through the archives of photos going back to the 1908 Olympics, also in London, we realized this has always been so.
Some countries, like France, Switzerland and Sweden, manage to clothe their athletes in stylish formalwear. Others, like the U.S. and the U.K., can’t seem to decide whether to put their teams in blazers or track suits. We like when smaller delegations from countries like Mongolia and Mauritania go for traditional costumes, taking advantage of this world stage to show off their unique cultures. But it’s unfortunate when others, like Hungary, Poland, Russia and Australia, try to get a bit too creative when putting their own spin on the uniforms. Take a look at our 25 favorite examples in the gallery below:
By the way, we think the Ralph Lauren-designed blue-blazer-and-white-pants/skirt combo for 2012′s Team USA will look good on the whole team — but what exactly do they say about our country? “Never mind the recession; we will always have yacht clubs!” Anyway, we can’t wait for Friday!

Every year bikini pioneers get together for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week to discuss the latest in swimsuit technology. Designers like A.Z Araujo, Lisa Burke, and Anna Kosturova and so many more helped heat up the Miami’s Raleigh Hotel with revealing waterside attire of all shapes and colors. Trust us, there are bikinis out there that your minds can’t even comprehend! Some make you look like you’re covered in seaweed, some have more strings than we can ever imagine what to do with, and many others are clearly not meant to function in any other environment other than a runway.
So as a public service, we’ve taken it upon ourselves to compile the nuttiest two-pieces of the bunch. You’ve gotta stay ahead of the trends! So head on down to the gallery below for the 20 craziest bikinis of fashion week. These ain’t your grandma’s bikinis. Which we can probably all agree is for the best, because that would just be weird.

Now, to soften the blow of listing some of our faves among the worst-dressed at the 2012 Teen Choice Awards, we present to you our best-dressed list — which, thankfully, contains a couple of people who were also on the previous list: Demi Lovato and Jordin Sparks. It also has 10 more names than the worst, because overall, it was a night in which we wanted to see risks being taken, and they often paid off on the pink carpet — even if they wouldn’t have anywhere else. TV stars such as Lucy Hale, Candice Accola, Shay Mitchell and Ashley Rickards were stunning in super-bright colors. Others, like Zoe Saldana and Lea Michele, won with adorable cuts. And then, of course, Kristen Stewart was in a category all her own, in a decidedly unsummery leather-pants-and-blazer combo. (Oh, and by the way, we totally recognize why some are criticizing Demi for showing a whole lot of side-boob in her yellow showgirly dress — but since that showed up in arrival photos but never on our TV screens, we think everyone should just simma.)
