Okay, we can’t even deal with the hotness that is Robert Pattinson on this November issue of L’Uomo Vogue. The Italian’s really have done right by him and we’ve even imbibed the fact that his trench is by Lanvin and his rings are by Lazaro. That’s how long we’ve been staring at the page and each of the minuscule details on it. They’ve really coaxed the smoulder out of him and we can’t stop staring at all the leather and the spikes. This is like old-school sexy, right? Testosterone meets broody meets our ovaries singing. It’s like a Rob bonanza today! We just posted about his and Kristen Stewart‘s Groucho Marx masked appearance at a party at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery yesterday. Perhaps the back-to-front baseball cap gave it away? While we’re happy with any pictures of the Pattz that we can get, a magazine cover like this one is a definite bonus. We can’t wait to read the interview inside when it comes out within the week. We’re going to go back to staring at the cover photograph now. Those eyes!

Oooo, look at Ms. Selena Gomez here! The 20-year-old looks appropriately glamorous (and grown-up) on the cover of the December issue of Glamour. Actually, we don’t know why we’re all surprised about the grown-up bit. Ever since we saw Justin Bieber and Selena getting frisky and making out in Maui last year, the age of innocence was over as far as we were concerned. Then, there’s her proclivity for wearing booty-shorts and all of her other increasingly smouldering looks. But Ms. Gomez is passes over hot for beautiful on this cover. The strapless gown and red lips look like a festive dream on her and we’re jealous of girl’s leggy legs. She’s also talking about what her 15-year-old self would say about the current her. We think she’d be like, “Future Selena, put more clothes on” but she thinks the reaction would be one of surprise. The reason is because, “… I was so scared and so shy back then. I mean, I grew up in one of the biggest high schools in the world, and that’s the Disney Channel. Everybody was falling in love with each other or not liking each other, and it was exhausting … and I was the shy one in the corner. And now I’m so opinionated, and I don’t have time for the cattiness. I have good people around me, and I’m glad I’m at the place I’m in. I wish I was there back then.” But back then, there would be no Bieber either, so we’d say the timing is just right.

Long Live The Queen! U.K. ‘s Esquire magazine has just crowned Miranda Kerr as their sexiest woman alive, and looking at the scandalously sexy cover, it’s not hard to see why. Kerr appears even more stripped down than her U.S. Esquire counterpart Mila Kunis, who earned her title a few weeks back. At least Mila had some pants, but the Victoria’s Secret angel graces her cover wearing nothing but a pair of panties! This is the woman who can look sexy while giving Terry Richardson a butt shot, so needless to say, the pic is pretty damn hot.
“We always have so much fun when we shoot,” she says in the accompanying interview. “My temperament’s flirtatious, so it’s second nature to me. I don’t really think of rules, as long as it’s classy and timeless and it’s something I wouldn’t be ashamed of. I believe in celebrating the female figure and embracing what we’ve been given.”
The real question is: who is actually the sexiest woman alive? There can be only one, right? It’s a close race, and we definitely think Miranda gives Mila a run for her money. Check out the gallery below to see what we mean, and then cast your vote in our poll!
This has happened before, which isn’t surprising when you’re one of the most successful recording artists on the planet. Taylor Swift isn’t on just one magazine cover for December, but two: Cosmopolitan and Elle Canada. Just like November, when Taylor was (or is) the face for Marie Claire U.K. and Glamour showing off two completely different looks. As you can see above, she’s done the same thing this time over. Cosmo is sassier and sexier, but is anyone else a little disturbed by the huge cover line right by her proclaiming, “Late Night Sex?” We do like the glossy nude makeup and the purple tones of her outfit though. Marie Claire went in a diametrically different direction for the subscribers issue with a more fairytale cover with Taylor in a bedazzled gown and “What else is there other than love” flowing over the page. This one’s a sneak peek, but Cosmo has some details about her interview up already. “There’s a song that’s the first track on the record, and it says, “Love is a ruthless game unless you play it good and right.” That’s been my whole philosophy on love this whole time anyway,” she says. She has been playing it good and right but this is a tad awkward since she’s allegedly just split with summertime boyfriend, Conor Kennedy. And if that’s the case, then there’s nothing like coming out of a break-up looking awesome on two magazine covers. Which one do you prefer?

Rihanna is Vogue-ing for the second time in her career, officially landing the cover for the U.S. edition of the iconic fashion magazine. “Mama I made it! Here’s #2″ she tweeted over the weekend as she posted a pic of the sultry cover. Taken by legendary photographer Annie Leibovitz, the shot features Riri staring down the camera in a smokin’ hot red dress in what appears to be the middle of a wheat field. The same one from the “We Found Love” vid, maybe?
The issue features an in-depth profile of the 24-year-old mega star, where she weighs in on her romantic life. Or, more appropriately, lack thereof. She claims to have not been on a date for over two years! And it’s definitely not by her choice. “I would love to go on a date,” she says. “Seriously, all I want is a guy to take me out and make me laugh for a good hour and take my ass back home. He doesn’t even have to come up. All I want is a conversation for an hour.” She blames her superstar status on the lack of gentleman callers. “No one asks. Trust me on that. I’m waiting for the man who’s ballsy enough to deal with me. I’m going to wait, though.”
Ben Affleck is back in the spotlight now that his film Argo is doing the promotions rounds. Critics are already fawning over the movie, so that’s a good sign. He’s also on the cover of The Hollywood Reporter this week and the subject of an indepth interview which deals a lot with, not just the film, but the difference of who he is now — chilled husband and father — with his past as a party boy. That included going to rehab at 29, of which he says, ” went to rehab for being 29 and partying too much and not having a lot of boundaries and to clear my head and try to get some idea of who I wanted to be. It was more a ‘let me get myself straight,’ before it became a rite of passage.” His past also includes his ex-girlfriends, who he’s still in touch with, including Gwyneth Paltrow, his high school girlfriend, Cheyenne Rothman, and more importantly, the other half of the original “Bennifer” — Jennifer Lopez. It’s good to know that Ben’s the kind of guy who doesn’t hold on to anything bad, like messy break-ups, and is actually on friendly terms with all three ladies. Mostly, J.Lo, and he opens up about their current relatioship in this piece, revealing, “We don’t have the kind of relationship where she relies on me for advice, but we do have the kind of relationship where there’ll be an e-mail saying, ‘Oh, your movie looks great.’ I remember when she got American Idol. I said: ‘This was really smart. Good luck.’ I touch base. I respect her. I like her. She’s put up with some stuff that was unfair in her life, and I’m really pleased to see her successful.” And here we were thinking that there was a morotorium on all things Lopez when the main Jennifer (Jennifer Garner, his wife) entered his life!

There’s a whole lot of Brad Pitt happening in these parts, what with his lame-o Chanel teaser video yesterday and this Interview October-November cover today. We aren’t calling Pitt himself lame, by the way. The decision by the Chanel folks to give us basically nothing in the teaser video, was. But this cover more than makes up for the disappointment mainly due to the amazing photo shoot. There’s a slideshow of some incredible black-and-white pictures of Pitt in different avatars — dread-locked and very sexy, an Hollywood star and a hitman, to name a few. And he rocks every single look. That’s the kind of Pitt we want — lots of him (take note, Chanel.) The interview itself has been done by the actor’s director in Snatch — Guy Ritchie — and the two of them have a long chat about Pitt’s new crime film, Killing The Softly. Pitt says it’s not just about crime, though. It’s also a political film, he reveals, saying, “… And what made me laugh and what I think presents so many parallels to politics was that, what these guys in the film were dealing with, wasn’t really the issue itself, but the perception of the issue. It was about getting the perception right so that the people who were making money could continue to make money and everyone else would fall in line as they were supposed to. Again, that’s something that relates to the way that our economy works—and, really, politics itself works. The political discussion in America is very seldom about the issues—it’s often more about the perception of the issues …” Have a read, and then you can go back to looking at the pictures — we promise!

We found this piece on the Harper’s Bazaar November cover celebrity, Nicole Kidman, rather interesting. She reveals things about herself that we never would have attributed to her. It’s all about perception right? And admit it, you’ve always thought that Nicole, phenomenal actress that she is, is staid and a bit boring in real life, right? We did! No shame in that, and it’s nice to see her being so on the down-low with husband, Keith Urban, whom she describes as “more like an ocean; he took me out.” The interview does delve into their relationship deeper, and she goes on to say, “He just gave me confidence through just being very kind to me and understanding me, opening me up to trying things, my sexuality, those sorts of things.” But you want to know about the what surprised us about her, right? Well, this is Bazaar’s “Daring” issue, and even though she may not see herself as bold, she not only used to jump out of planes, but also used to “do arabesques on the wing. I have a video of it! I used to really love those extreme sensations. I still do. Hmm, is that daring or is that just an extremist?” She also likes to go scuba diving at night because, “I find it strangely peaceful, out of my body. It straightens me out.” See what we mean? Whole different side of Nicole, and we like it!

Looks like the U.S. Esquire just edged out Cameron Diaz‘s Esquire U.K. cover, which, as you can see, is no easy feat. But they did it by pulling out a trump card which comes in the lissome form of Mila Kunis. Mila Kunis, without a top on. Are we surprised that she’s been named as their “Sexiest Woman Alive”? Hells to the no. Sorry, Cameron! We still love you. But here’s the thing about Mila. She’s not only drop-dead fine, she’s also hysterically funny. How much did you crack up at her character Jackie on That ’70s Show over the years? And the only person who doesn’t think she is, is Mila herself, who revealed, “I think I stumbled upon doing funny things, but I’m not funny. I just know how to deliver a joke. There are people who naturally exude humor and are constantly saying funny things, and there are the people who know how to deliver a joke. It’s a learned skill. Through twenty years of doing this, I practice it. I think that the second you think that you’re funny is when you stop being funny.” This was said in an interview that was split over L.A. and New York and covered everything from politics to her involvement in political street-art, which she cant talk about, “because it’s illegal,” to her immigration story. It’s a big one, and it almost makes you forget that she’s on the cover, with her bare back, looking suggestively at the camera. We said almost.

You have to admit that Sarah Jessica Parker is looking pretty fierce on this November cover of Elle. Love her or not-so love her, you still have to admit that SJP really has the goods! That very sexy cut-out dress in Calvin Klein and the spectacular, almost tribal looking necklace is by House of Lavande, FYI. This cover story has also piqued our interest. It’s a “Women In Hollywood” section filled with stars like Emma Watson, Octavia Spencer and Elle Fanning, apart from Sarah Jessica, talking about their experiences in the industry. All styled to the nines of course! Emma, for instance, talks about her Harry Potter history, stating, “I just knew, from the moment I read “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” that I was meant to play that role…I put one of the Potter films on the other night. And it was amazing to me that I had done all of that. I have to remind myself every now and then.” Octavia’s story is a juicy one, as she talks about standing up to a powerful producer in H-Town, revealing, “Early on I had to stand up to a producer – I won’t say who, but he is famous, famous. He dressed me down in a crowded office. I told him right there in front of a hundred people, ‘You don’t know me well enough to use that tone’…And then I ran to the bathroom and cried like a baby. But he never addressed me that way again. And he is known as a yeller.”
As for our cover celebrity, SJP brings up playing the character of “Carrie” on Sex And The City for so long. While wearing a gorgeous Alexander McQueen dress and Casadei heels, of course. She says she doesn’t want to repeat the same role in the future, with, “I don’t love the idea of playing another woman who loves fashion and is slightly flawed in New York City. I loved Carrie, and I don’t want to do the poor man’s version of her. And while those are often the lucrative things to do, it’s more reason to look in the other direction.” Apparently, there’s going to be a “Women in Hollywood” event mid-month too, so we’re going to keep our eyes peeled for that one.
