Depending on your denomination, either Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa or Eid came early this year in the form of these Coco photos from the Richie Rich runway show at New York Fashion Week. Thank you again, universe, for this living study in flawlessness.
Ice-T‘s wife slipped into a little My Little Pony-meets-Sexy George Washington hair ensemble yesterday to strut her stuff for the designer’s Spring 2012 show in New York City. It almost goes without saying that a Coco nip slip was also featured on the runway. “I started working with those glasses and out came a boob and I was like, Oh man, this is what I didn’t want,” the model/actress/human angel told E! Online after the show. “I don’t get embarassed, I wanted to walk with perfection and that wasn’t perfection for me.” Coco, everyone other creature on the planet would like to politely disagree.

Guys, we are excited to announced that after thoroughly checking these Nicki Minaj photos from New York Fashion Week, we can confirm that we did not find one single flaw in any of them. Like Nicki’s gumball masterpiece, this look is completely flawless. Anyone else wearing a leopard print leotard, cheetah print wig and a child’s tiger hat would look like the star of a very special cross-over episode between My Strange Addiction and Pet Hoarders (you’re welcome, studio executives), but Nicki continues to kill it. Incidentally, that’s also how she obtained that hat.
You know that Coco Chanel quote that goes something like, “Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take one thing off?” If the one thing is an abdomen-concealing front bustle, maybe, possibly, you should consider another ensemble all together. Beyonce visited New York Fashion Week today with sister Solange in a Vera Wang beige leather minidress that might best be described as business up top, sea sponge on the bottom. As for Beyonce’s baby bump, the dress manages to both draw your eye directly to her midsection, then force you to look immediately away in confusion. Don’t get us wrong; Beyonce could wear stirrup pants and a fanny pack and still be the most stunning person, pregnant or otherwise, at those runway shows. In fact, we wish she would so that we could get away with wearing them. We just wonder how many dozens upon dozens of designer dresses Bey passed over in favor of…a skirt-shaped loofah?

VH1 caught up with Elizabeth Reaser yesterday at the Rebecca Minkoff Spring 2012 fashion show. Despite looking fierce in a Rebecca Minkoff ensemble, the Twilight star verbalized her NY Fashion Week anxieties and her excitement over attending her very first fashion show this week. However, it wasn’t all fashion talk with
Esme Cullen Elizabeth. Watch the video above and see how she feels about the Twilight Saga coming to an end and what she’ll miss the most.
And you think you’re busy this week: Vanessa Hudgens hit the front row at least four Fashion Week shows in NY, and wearing a different look to every single one. Naturally, she’s making some famous friends: the High School Musical star went hippie to bond with Fergie at the Anna Sui show, and sat next to Kanye West at the Jeremy Scott show in sexy heels and a short cross-covered one-piece. Her most glamorous look was at the Marchesa show, where she unveiled a runway-ready red, ruffled gown. Looks like Hudgens’ shiny suit at the Marc Jacobs show Monday was just the beginning. Get a closer look at her humpday fashion show heroics—and the tight dress she wore to the Diesel show Tuesday—in the gallery below.

There’s something about this super-shiny number that Vanessa Hudgens wore to the Marc Jacobs show at Fashion Week in New York that doesn’t work for us. It could be the shine-on-shine element (too many satiny pink things all in one outfit, it’s a St. Valentine’s Day Fashion Massacre), it could just be that shiny blazers are best left to Mick Jagger and the cast of Dynasty. To be fair, Hudgens looks great otherwise and we’d kill to have legs like that, it’s just the jacket that’s slowly killing us. Check out a few more close-up shots in our gallery and tell us what you think of this ensemble.

Is J-Woww the new Pamela Anderson? Not only does she have the right measurements, but she’s apparently taken over Pam’s gig as Richie Rich‘s trash-fashion (trashion?) sidekick. Jenni Farley and Rich paraded for the paparazzi at the Villionaire By Richie Rich show at the Hammerstein Ballrom, part of New York Fashion Week. While her sparkly, sheer dress was certainly riveting, skater Johnny Weir made an even stronger impression, walking down the runway wearing a tattered skirt worthy of a naughty version of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. No less flamboyant off the stage, he sported a giant fur coat and leggings that left nothing to the imagination. Get an eyeful in the gallery below.

DIVAAAAA! Okay, we admit, we usually zone out when people talk about New York Fashion Week (we all buy our clothes at Target anyway; who are we fooling?). But if C-list celebs like Coco start making an appearance at shows, consider us the next Anna Wintour. Taking the stage at the Sachika Twins Fashion Week runway show, Coco wore a stunning purple frock with a plunging neckline and her butt hanging out everywhere. While the rest of us would get arrested if we wore this outside, this is the kind of sophisticated gown Coco might wear to court…the Supreme Court.
The designers To-Tam and To-Nya Sachika have also dressed the likes of Nicki Minaj, suggesting their line is for the elegant woman who knows what she wants, and didn’t drop $8,000 on butt implants for nothing. A conspicuous lack of camel-toe in this look means Coco could easily wear this dress on a visit to the White House or the strip club. Husband Ice-T probably stood up and composed a spontaneous Elizabethan sonnet when he saw his wife saunter back up the runway. Because if there is one thing that will always be true: we hate to see Coco go, but we love to watch her leave. [Photo: Splash]
This weekend we got a lot of slack on Twitter for not loving Ashley Greene‘s VMA outfit. We even were told to “sit down,” which is easy for us to do because we sit on our asses all day blogging and eating Wheat Thins. But yeah, point taken. Thus we thought this would be a good time to clarify our deep, invested feelings about Ashley’s fashion picks. Ready?
We LOVE her casual look. She does the beautiful regular girl thing so well, with her collection of skinny jeans and ballet flats and flowy tops. She looks effortless, and it’s impossible to tell if she’s wearing make up or not because her face is all sorts of flawless. But sometimes her red carpet looks fall a bit flat to us, like at last year’s VMAS, for example. Other times, we gush over them; her Eclipse premiere dress still makes us melt with envy. Does this mean we “hate” Ashley Greene? No. We don’t know her. We’re bloggers. We hope Joe Jonas is kissing the sh*t out of those pretty lips and makin’ her happy. All hail Queen Greene.
But we did want to take this time to gush about a recent Ash outfit that we LOVE. Girlfriend is back in NYC for Fashion Week, and popped up at Donna Karan in this sea-green number. We love the loose look – she can totally pull it off because you know there’s a tiny bod of steel (see Ashley in a bikini!) underneath. The side ponytail, clean make up and understated (but just enough) jewels compliment the look enough without over-saturating it, leaving room for THOSE SHOES. Oh, do we just love a statement shoe.
This is the high glam Ashley we love! A bit risky, a lot of color, yet still simple and classy. Now the real question is – do you also dig this outfit or are we gonna disagree on Ash Fashion forever? Flame us in the comments!
