Charlie Sheen‘s Violent Torpedo Of Truth tour is starting to look like a season of Jersey Shore—intermittently fascinating, but ugly, frequently misogynist and depressing if you give it your full attention. Also, both have featured Pauly D! Everyone’s favorite DJ appeared to cheers at Charlie’s Boston show last night, telling the embittered Two And A Half Men star “I wanna be you for one day!” While Sheen was flattered by his guest (“Are we happy to see this young man? We told you there would be surprises, I told you, none of this is planned!”), he later admitted he wasn’t too familiar with the MTV-based phenomenon. “I don’t watch the show…but I can tell he’s very popular here. He’s a handsome bastard, I can tell you that.”
Unfortunately for Charlie, that handsome bastard failed to keep the audience enthused—you can see people leaving the cheap seats while Pauly’s on stage in the video above. Not only did Sheen fail to get a standing ovation, he reportedly yelled “Wait, don’t leave! I’m not done!” as fans bolted during the show’s second hour. We’ll find out Thursday whether the Canadians care more than the Bostonians, when Sheen does two nights in Toronto. Lil bit o’ trivia: on French Canadian TV, Two And A Half Men is called Mon Oncle Charlie.
