The people have spoken and Barack Obama has been elected to his second term as president of the United States of America. We’re probably not the first ones to tell you this, and if we are, maybe reconsider your breaking news source. Even though the majority of Americans are very happy right now, we’re aware that a bunch of people (like Stacey Dash) are pretty bummed at the moment because their boy Mitt Romney lost. This is not a time to gloat, but a time for unity! So to cheer up those who aren’t feelin’ the Barry love, we’ve assembled Barack Obama’s 20 most comforting photos of all time. Let him console you. And if that doesn’t do it, look on the bright side: At least this damn campaign is over! For a few years at least…

Here’s how I am spending my election day: staring at people’s Instagram photos of their “I Voted!” stickers, shoveling peanut butter into my mouth with a spoon, and obsessively checking Nate Silver‘s website. Don’t know who Nate Silver is? Wait – LOL, why would I even ask that – EVERYONE knows who Nate Silver is: baseball statistician-turned political poll guru-turned most popular guy on the internet (most of the time).
In the past month it’s been impossible to scroll through Twitter or one’s RSS feed without happening upon some sort of mention of Silver, whether it be positive (Keep Calm and Trust Nate Silver), negative or just really weird-mazing. And because the world can’t stop thinking about him, I’ve channeled all my election anxiety into finding five of the sexiest photos of the pollster for this here post. Because the world loves Nate Silver forever and always (until he’s wrong).
1. Being all Nate-dorable on The Colbert Report this week.
2. Showin’ off his smarts at a TED talk.
Sure Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are famous all over the world and have millions of dollars at their disposal. But they still celebrate birthdays in the same cutely embarrassing way that we always do at our local Olive Garden. Kimye put in an appearance last night at the Gabrielle’s Angel Foundation’s Angel Ball, held at the fancy Cipriani restaurant in New York City. Yeezy must have had a quick secret word with the waiter, because soon a chocolate cake was delivered to a surprised Kim and Co. Alright, her birthday was technically on Sunday. But that’s half the fun! We have on average approximately 35 restaurant birthday’s a year.
Guests reportedly sang, and model Bar Refaeli snapped a few pics on her iPhone. It’s just like a night out with our friends! Except less endless pasta bowls and bread-sticks. Celebs really are just like us! But those weren’t the only famous faces to turn up at the Angel Ball. Gerard Butler was there, as was Angela Simmons and super model Irina Shayk.Nelly and Ashanti went together, but the cutest pairing had to be Solange Knowles and her gorgeous mother Tina. So there we were, checking out photos of Bobbi Kristina Brown, her brother-lover Nick Gordon, soul legend Cissy Houston at the rest of the Houston/Brown crew at last night’s red carpet premiere party for The Houstons: On Our Own. But then it slowly dawned on us: It seemed pretty rough. Don’t get us wrong, everyone looked great as they strolled into New York’s Tribeca Grand Hotel. But they just seemed so visibly uncomfortable, as if they were being ordered down the red carpet at gun point. The forced frozen smiles, the awkwardly stiff poses. Don’t get us wrong, we’ve had way more than our fair share of unflattering photos over the years. But it was like the Houston’s would rather be anywhere else, and it bummed us out! Although we get that they’ve been through a lot, and it has to be pretty rough to have your most private moments paraded in front of the public. But then…don’t do a reality show? Who knows, maybe they’re still just freaked out about Bobbi Kristina’s engagement to her adopted brother. We would be too! Check out our seven most painfully awkward photos from last night’s premiere in the gallery below!

All it took was one look at Rebel Wilson‘s outfit at the Pitch Perfect press junket for me to instantly become obsessed with her. Her hair was perfectly coiffed, and she was dressed in a pink “R” varsity jacket, little velvet pirate slippers (like these) and massive name plate rings a guy in jail made her. I got really excited to dig into her various red carpet outfits of the past, and discovered that she seems to be really into classic glam with the occasional twist. Observe her elegant garnet number above – understated, pulled together and beautiful, with just a touch of bad-ass mixed in.
Check out 15 of her coolest looks in the gallery below – a couple are a little weird but most are seriously sleek, sweet and sometimes sexy. It’s evident that she approaches fashion with a serious eye as well as a sense of humor. And her best accessory? That insanely gorgeous smile.

Let’s be real. Comedic geniuses and BFFs IRL Tina Fey and Amy Poehler have never looked better. Flaunting their figures in Vivienne Westwood and Stella McCartney frocks respectively, the pair looked confident, sexy and positively radiant. Whatever you’re doing, ladies, it’s working.
Other red carpet highlights included Kat Dennings‘ flawlessly foxy red-on-red look and Heidi Klum‘s doubly sky-high slits. Mad Men‘s Jessica Pare took a page from the Megan Draper fashionable playbook and rocked a custom Jason Wu black and white ensemble.

Donned in his fashion show best – a navy bit-too-long wool suit – everyone’s favorite “bad” boy Aaron Paul hit London Fashion Week yesterday, sitting front row for Burberry’s Spring/Summer 2013 womenswear show. While seated next to picture of goth perfection Dita Von Teese, One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles and the adorable Dev Patel, Paul’s emotions seemed to range from befuddled to angry to gleeful. We can’t get enough. Aaron, feel free to attend and react to every event from here on out. Take a look at eight of his most amazing facial expressions below, plus two bonus shots of his dapper look and two new besties.
Once you’ve allegedly referred to your friend/former That ’70s Show costar as your “little wife,” chances are everyone is going to start monitoring your dates with a focus approaching laser intensity. (Especially if you, you know, still technically have a wife somewhere.) Such was the case this week when Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher attended a Dodgers game with Mila’s parents. The two are admittedly a super-hot couple, which is probably why Mila held a baseball cap over their faces when they shared an intimate moment. But were they definitely kissing? The pervert in us says yes, but there are plenty of reasons why two adult human beings would hide their love under a sweat hat. For example, maybe the Dodgers politely asked Mila to cover up, as her beauty was distracting them at a pivotal point in the game. Or maybe Ashton wanted to show off his new tongue ring, or…
Though fans waited with bated breath for Rob Pattinson to spill the beans about his relationship (or breakup) with Kristen Stewart on the Cosmopolis press tour (we didn’t actually think he would, right?), one thing has been for certain, there’s been a whole lot more going in his mouth than coming out. After both The Daily Show and Good Morning America provided Rob edible scapegoats to avoid discussing his personal life, our wheels are turning about what tasty diversion MTV.COM could possibly provide him for tonight’s interview. In fact, what would other TV shows possibly serve up as a vehicle for Rob’s notorious (and darling) rambling? Our ideas below.
