British Fashion Awards: Kate Moss Vs Victoria Beckham Vs Kate Hudson

The British Fashion Awards took place last night at the Savoy Hotel in London. Victoria Beckham won the Designer Brand of the Year, which she accepted wearing her own design (for a full list of winner click here). Vicky looked fab and slightly goth in a black cowl-necked, floor-length gown with a sharp pleated skirt and daringly low plunging back. She got really emotional accepting the award and even teared up while saying, “I’m so sorry for crying. I’m being so rubbish.”

Kate Moss went the quirky route, wearing a bizarre fishnet body-stocking gown that was so absurd, it actually worked. Kate Hudson also added some Hollywood glamor with a cut-out Stella McCartney gown. All three looked hot, but not in your regular, cookie-cutter way. So, who do you feel was best dressed? Let us know in the poll below.

Will Channing Tatum Replace George Clooney In The Man From U.N.C.L.E.?

Steven Soderbergh’s big screen adaptation of The Man From U.N.C.L.E. is missing its star now that George Clooney has bowed out due to health concerns. Fresh out of surgery, George isn’t sure he’s up for all the fancy footwork the film will entail, so now a whole host have young hunky actors are being considered for the lead role in the film of the television classic. Perhaps the most serious contender is Channing Tatum, who acted in Soderbergh’s latest film, Magic Mike. Although no formal offer has been made, Steven is very interested and could pull the trigger any day, according to a report in Deadline. Other actors up for consideration include Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ryan Gosling, Joel Edgerton and Alexander Skarsgard. Who do you think should star? Let us know in the poll below!

Fashion Watch: Vote For Your Favorite Breaking Dawn Body

By now, we’ve become cross-eyed staring at all the Breaking Dawn fabulousness that’s been pouring over our computer screens from last night’s black-carpet premiere. If you have a sternum like that, plunging gowns are your best friend.

So now that we’ve broken it down to body parts — because we’re getting into the spirit of things — we’re curious to know who your favorite is. Vote, vote, vote!

Who Was The Best Dressed At The Glamour Women Of The Year Awards?

The Glamour Women of the Year Awards took place at Carnegie Hall in New York last night. We sifted through all the fashion and came up with four winners, who were ahead of the pack by far. Jennifer Lopez, who received the All-Star award, rocked it in a metallic Versace dress and clutch, Jimmy Choo heels and Harry Winston bling. She gets extra points for showing incredible leg. How is she 42? Emma Stone blew us away in a flowing, Grecian chartreuse Lanvin gown. This girl is on fire right now and we’re awed by everything she puts on. It was also her birthday on Sunday, so happy birthday, Emma!

Lea Michele looked beautiful in a Jenny Packham dress, Sergio Rossi shoes, a Jimmy Choo bag and Tiffany & Co jewels. We love the berry lips on her, too. (Are we allowed to make a Rachel Berry joke here? No?) Jessica Alba shook things up in a black metallic Tory Burch dress and clutch, Jimmy Choo heels and Neil Lane jewelery.  We’re digging the white collar-and-cuffs and belt detailing. So there you have it, folks. Our four picks for the night. We have our secret favorites but we want you to have at it. Check out our gallery after the jump and vote, vote, vote! Read more…

Bruno Mars And His Band Of Pink Men Brighten Up The MTV EMAs

How Bruno Mars and his band pulled off this look is beyond us. The singer and his musicians put on sunglasses and hot pink jackets with black lapels and detailing yesterday at the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards in Belfast, Ireland. They looked pretty terrific — retro but not twee. They didn’t even clash with the pink carpet. Bruno picked up Best New Act, BTW. Note, Katy Perry. This is how you do awards show pink. Looking good, guys! Do you disagree? Let us know in the poll below.

Who Was The Most Stylish Avon Lady?

Four lovely ladies turned up for the Avon Awards Foundation Gala 2011 at the Marriott Marquis in New York last night. Fergie, Natasha Bedingfield, Delta Goodrem and Ashley Greene walked the red carpet, each channeling completely different looks. (Trivia time: The latter two women have both been romantically linked to a Jonas brother. Ashley dated Joe Jonas, while Delta is currently with Nick Jonas.)

Ashley was glam in a one-shouldered, cobalt-blue dress. She also did something new with her hair, and we dig the finger waves. We just wish she’d smile more. And is it just us, or does she have way too much makeup on? Delta left her long blond hair flowing, which worked with her lace-detailed, Grecian-inspired gown. Fergie wore a blush-colored dress with a center-ruffle details and a blazer, and Natasha looked sexy in a black frock split at the cleavage with pink pumps. We can’t decide who worked it best, so we’re leaving the decision to you. Have a look at our gallery and vote, after the jump. Read more…

One More Look At Michelle Williams As Marilyn Monroe

Earlier this month, we posted the Vogue cover that had Michelle Williams as Marilyn Monroe. She’s going to be starring in the upcoming biopic My Week With Marilyn that’s all about the filming of Monroe’s 1957 film The Prince and the Showgirl. Ever since that cover, we’ve been itching to see more photographs. Michelle Williams is the consummate actress, but pulling off Marilyn is something we feel even the best would find hard to handle. This new shot of Michelle as Marilyn in the water is breathtaking though, putting any tiny doubts we had to rest. What do you think? We know many of you are diehard Monroe fans so let us know what your thoughts are through the poll below!

Charlie Sheen And Ashton Kutcher Meet At The Emmys

It had to happen someday. TV’s biggest night brought with it a meeting of equally epic proportions, as Charlie Sheen and Ashton Kutcher met face to face for the first time. Unfortunately the Men-star summit took place backstage at the Nokia Theater and was not part of the Emmy broadcast. What were the producers thinking?! But luckily these few precious twit-pix survive of two, courtesy of Sheen himself. What could have been one of the greatest showdowns in award show history was actually incredibly cordial, even warm. “Giving the new kid a little advice..!” Chaz captioned the picture above to Kutcher. “Seriously… great talking to you! We’ll all be watching! Make us proud!!” Ashton responded in kind by writing, “Good to meet you too. Wishing you the best on your new gig.” Awww. It’s like a passing of the bizarro torch. Ashton will have his own pornstar entourage in no time!

Sheen is showing his mellower side these days. Maybe he’s kicked the drug called “Charlie Sheen” in favor of a drug called lithium. Last week he hit the talk show circuit and expressed remorse for his outbursts last winter. And last night he even addressed the assembled television gliteratti with a heartfelt (if awkward) message. “I want to take a moment to get something off my chest and say a few words to everyone here from Two and a Half Men,” he began. “From the bottom of my heart, I wish you nothing but the best from this upcoming season. We spent eight wonderful years together, and I know you will continue to make great television.” Charlie says that he’s throwing a viewing party to watch the premiere of a Sheen-less Two And A Half Men tonight. Will you be tuning in too? Let us know!

The Marc Anthony-Will Smith Bromance Lives On, Or Is It Fake?

Two people you would not think to see in close quarters of each other these days would be Marc Anthony and Will Smith. Considering there were strong rumors (denied of course) that Marc and Will’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith were having an affair, it wouldn’t be too far-fetched to assume some cooling off was due between the two star families. But when has anything gone to plan in Hollywood? We’re so used to whammies by now that we don’t know why we even bother.

Marc and Will seemed as thick as thieves at the Miami Dolphins vs New England Patriots game on Monday night in Miami Gardens, Florida. It was also dubbed as Marc’s birthday celebration — although Wikipedia tells us his birthday is on September 16? They were in the company of pals like Fergie, Pitbull, Josh Duhamel etc — but what we want to know is whether or not this was a PR exercise? Or are Marc and Will good friends, for real?
