March Celebrity Madness: Round 8! Who’s Your Favorite Gleek?

The FABLife is playing March Celebrity Madness this month, putting 64 of our favorite stars into brackets and having you vote to decide our ultimate FAB icon. First we’ll be pitting four similar celebs against each other in the divisionals, with the winners pairing (and squaring) off in our Sweet 16 until only one is left standing. It’s just like the NCAA, except…ok, it’s nothing like the NCAA.

Sorry to Cory Monteith and his fellow Glee jocks, but the indomitable Chris Colfer was the only guy from the show who managed to make our Gleek shortlist. Joining him in our poll are  Dianna Agron, Lea Michele and Jane Lynch—even if Sue Sylvester would rather eat Schuester’s hair than have to compete with these chipmunks. All of them own the screen on Glee, but which one is your favorite?

Don’t forget, you can still vote for your favorite Boneworthy Brit (Gerard Butler and RPattz are neck and neck), Man Of Action (so are George Clooney and Jason Statham), Pop Queen (Katy Perry‘s blasted forward after an early Rihanna lead), Community Cutie (Alison Brie‘s holding strong), Social Network Stud (ditto Jesse Eisenberg), Acting Ingenue (Jennifer Lawrence and Hailee Steinfeld are battling it out) and Kardashian (Khloe‘s conquering!). The polls don’t close until Friday, March 25th, so vote early and vote often!

March Celebrity Madness: Round 7! Who’s Your Favorite Boneworthy Brit?

The FABLife is playing March Celebrity Madness this month, putting 64 of our favorite stars into brackets and having you vote to decide our ultimate FAB icon. First we’ll be pitting four similar celebs against each other in the divisionals, with the winners pairing (and squaring) off in our Sweet 16 until only one is left standing. It’s just like the NCAA, except…ok, it’s nothing like the NCAA.

This morning we’re comparing some studs from across the pond, four men whose accents only add to their sex appeal stateside—Twilight‘s Robert Pattinson, King of the Acceptance Speech Colin Firth, Spartan-via-Scotland smoothie Gerard Butler and young Alex Pettyfer, who may get another crack at his own teen franchise with The Hunger Games. All are boneworthy Brits (yes, yes, Gerard’s actually Scottish, we know!), but which one is your favorite?

Don’t forget, you can still vote for your favorite Man Of Action, Pop Queen, Community Cutie, Social Network Stud, Acting Ingenue and Kardashian. The polls don’t close until Friday, March 25th, so vote early and vote often!

March Celebrity Madness: Round 6! Who’s Your Favorite Man Of Action?

The FABLife is playing March Celebrity Madness this month, putting 64 of our favorite stars into brackets and having you vote to decide our ultimate FAB icon. First we’ll be pitting four similar celebs against each other in the divisionals, with the winners pairing (and squaring) off in our Sweet 16 until only one is left standing. It’s just like the NCAA, except…ok, it’s nothing like the NCAA.

Who doesn’t love a studly, soulful man comfortable with snapping necks in a heartbeat (at least on screen)? Representing the classy, elite side of the action genre are George Clooney and Matt Damon, regular partners in charitable efforts and grand, cinematic heists. Standing in for the brutal, trashy side of video violence is the brutal Jason Statham and the trashy Mickey Rourke (don’t punch us for saying that, Mickey). All of them are men who get results—Ocean’s Expendables, anyone?—but which one is your favorite?

Don’t forget, you can still vote for your favorite Pop Queen, Community Cutie, Social Network Stud, Acting Ingenue and Kardashian. The polls don’t close until Friday, March 25th, so vote early and vote often!

March Celebrity Madness: Round 5! Who’s Your Favorite Pop Queen?

The FABLife is playing March Celebrity Madness this month, putting 64 of our favorite stars into brackets and having you vote to decide our ultimate FAB icon. First we’ll be pitting four similar celebs against each other in the divisionals, with the winners pairing (and squaring) off in our Sweet 16 until only one is left standing. The ladies in this poll need no introduction: Lady Gaga! Rihanna! Ke$ha! Katy Perry-a! Saying their names in a row immediately makes your outfit more scandalous, and all of them are ruling the pop charts. Still, only one—ONE!—can be our Pop Queen. Which singer is your favorite?

Don’t forget, you can still vote for your favorite Community Cutie, Social Network Stud, Acting Ingenue and Kardashian. The polls don’t close until Friday, March 25th, so vote early and vote often!

March Celebrity Madness: Round 2! Who’s Your Favorite Social Network Stud?

The FABLife is playing March Celebrity Madness this month, putting 64 of our favorite stars into brackets and having you vote to decide our ultimate FAB icon. First we’ll be pitting four similar celebs against each other in the divisionals, with the winners pairing (and squaring) off in our Sweet 16 until only one is left standing. It’s just like the NCAA, except…ok, it’s nothing like the NCAA.

Our second category concerns the handsome young men who starred in The Social Network: Jesse Eisenberg, Justin Timberlake, Andrew Garfield and Armie Hammer. While JT is definitely the biggest star, Eisenberg has certainly made a strong impression in countless indie flicks and films whose titles end with “land.” Meanwhile, Garfield will fly across the screen as the new Spider-Man in 2012 and Hammer—who almost played Batman in a Justice League movie—will make whoopie with Leonardo DiCaprio in J. Edgar. They might not be making Mark Zuckerberg money, but none of them can complain. Which one is your favorite? The polls don’t close until Friday, March 25th, so vote early and vote often!

March Celebrity Madness: Round 1! Who’s Your Favorite Acting Ingenue?

The FABLife is playing March Celebrity Madness this month, putting 64 of our favorite stars into brackets and having you vote to decide our ultimate FAB icon. First we’ll be pitting four similar celebs against each other in the divisionals, with the winners pairing (and squaring) off in our Sweet 16 until only one is left standing. It’s just like the NCAA, except…ok, it’s nothing like the NCAA.

First off is the Acting Ingenues category: Hailee Steinfeld stole True Grit from Jeff Bridges, fellow Oscar nominee Jennifer Lawrence is a likely shoo-in for The Hunger Games, Elle Fanning‘s rising profile has Hollywood saying “Dakota who?” and Kaya Scodelario of the UK Skins will play Catherine in the upcoming remake of Wuthering Heights. All these young women have had big breakouts of late, but which actress is your favorite? The polls don’t close until Friday, March 25th, so vote early and vote often!

Michelle Rodriguez Goes Glam (For A Change!) At Battle: Los Angeles Premiere

Considering how often Michelle Rodriguez is spotted wearing black pants and a leather jacket, we were pretty surprised to see her wearing a long, lopsided gown at the premiere of Battle: Los Angeles in Westwood, CA last night. Not that she’s giving up her usual ensemble—she wore it at a Miami screening Monday and changed into her civvies before DJing the premiere’s afterparty last night. Judging from her mugging on the carpet, she was well aware of how rarely she goes from something so grand. Do you think she pulled it off?

See photos from the premiere—and the Michelle Rodriguez Classic look—in the gallery below.

Gwyneth Paltrow’s Music Career Legitimized With Record Deal

It’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for/expecting/(dreading?). Gwyneth Paltrow is reportedly about to sign a record deal with Atlantic Records to produce a country-pop album. Don’t let that fool you into thinking Gwyneth will just be recycling her Country Strong role, because she says she also has plans to record with her BFF Jay-Z just, you know, because she can. So after months of listening to Gwynnie sing at awards shows and on Glee, what do you think? Are you psyched for her to create an entire album, or should she leave the music alone and let the pros like hubby Chris Martin handle it? Tell us what you think in our poll!

Poll: Who Was The Best Female Singer On American Idol?

It felt like the women of American Idol were on shakier ground than the men this week, judging from last night’s performances. There were far fewer ladies who are definite locks to advance to the next round, although it’s safe to say Pia Toscano gave the best performance of the night. Toscano received the first standing ovation of the season for her rendition of “I’ll Stand By You,” and as the night’s final performer, it was clear that the producers knew they had something amazing with her and saved the best for last.

Also impressive were the youngest competitors, Thia Megia, who we actually are pretty sure is 30 and not 15, and country girl Lauren Alaina. Beyond that, we have no idea who will make it. Let us know who your favorite female singer from last night was in our poll, and tell us in the comments who you think should go home. (We personally need Haley Reinhart and her throaty growl to take a hike. Are we wrong?)

Who Was The Best Performer On American Idol Last Night?

Last night marked American Idol‘s first live show of the season where America finally got to cast its vote. We loved a lot of the performances last night—it’s definitely apparent that this season is the strongest ever—and it’s going to be sad to see seven of these guys not make it through. Personally, we think Jacob Lusk (Luther Vandross 2.0), James Durbin (Adam Lambert 2.0), Scotty McCreery (Deepest Voice Ever) and Casey Abrams (Dorky Beardo) are definitely going to make it, while Jordan Dorsey, Brett Loewenstern and Tim Halperin might be in trouble.

As for the rest, Paul “Whitest Teeth We’ve Ever Seen” McDonald, Robbie “Looks Just Like Cartoon Aladdin” Rosen, Stefano “Wait, isn’t he Jovany?” Langone, Jovany “Wait, no, that’s not Stefano” Barreto, and Clint Jun Gamboa are all question marks in our book—good, for sure, but not the best. So tell  us, what do you think? Who was your favorite singer of the night?
