You can set the clock on your microwave by how frequently Lindsay Lohan gets into legal trouble. If this new lawsuit ever goes to court, the time will be approximately half-past crazy-cray. TMZ reports the suit stems from Lindsay Lohan’s Betty Ford incident last December, after which clinic employee Dawn Holland claimed a drunken Lohan man-handled her, lost her job for talking to the media and later issued a letter defending the actress. While battery charges were dropped by investigators, Holland is now seeking at least $1 million for “great mental, physical and nervous pain and suffering,” which is what we’re going to get if we have to cover a new Lohan trial so soon.
Meanwhile, the judge overseeing Lohan’s probation for the jewelry store incident is reportedly peeved that the Gotti actress hasn’t finished more of her community service or signed up for counseling in the months following her sentencing. If rumors are true, maybe Lohan’s boyfriend Spencer Falls is too much of a distraction for Lilo to get right with the law? When will these male models learn that orange mocha frappucinnos aren’t the solution to everything?
Chris Brown wants so much for us to forget about his violent outburst against Rihanna that he’s willing to create another violent outburst to overshadow it. That’s some dedication. Brown flew off the handle this morning after an interview on Good Morning America with Robin Roberts after Roberts asked Brown more questions about Rihanna than Brown cared for, and ended up smashing a window at the television studio. Now, Roberts is claiming that she ran all Rihanna-related questions past Brown before she sat down with him. A representative from ABC News defended Roberts‘ line of questioning as well, saying in a statement “As always, we ask questions that are relevant and newsworthy, and that’s what we did in this interview with Mr. Brown.”
Brown, who is currently still on probation as a result of his 2009 altercation with Rihanna, might face charges and even jail time for violating his probation as a result of his behavior today. In an audiotape obtained by TMZ, an ABC staffer was recorded as saying she called police to check on the window Brown allegedly smashed with a chair during his rampage. “If he is still on probation and charged with a criminal offense,” criminal defense attorney Thomas Kenniff told Fox News, “the violation would spell jail time.” Guess we’ll wait and see if charges are pressed to find out what Brown’s fate is. So much for Brown being a model probationer, which is what a judge called him in November.

It might be out of the frying pan and into the minimum security women’s prison for Lindsay Lohan, due to probation violations connected to the slap-fight she instigated with a rehab technician last month. Less than a day after Lindsay was released from rehab, investigators allegedly want Lilo charged with battery for her late-night shoving match with Betty Ford Center employee Dawn Holland on December 12. The altercation constituted a violation of Lohan’s probation for her 2007 DUI conviction, which in part requires that she “obey all laws.” All of them? Every single one? Well that was setting the bar pretty high for Lohan, now wasn’t it?
Sheriff Joe Borja released a statement Monday indicating that authorities probing the incident would be sending their report to the Los Angeles County Probation Department this week…and it does not look good for Lindsay. “The investigation determined Ms. Lohan violated several aspects of her probation, including the battery [charge],” the Palm Desert Police Department said. Depending on the whims of L.A. judge/Lohan’s archnemisis Elden Fox, the violation could land Lohan up to six months in jail. So here’s hoping Lindsay really enjoyed herself last night as she peered through the blinds at Sam Ronson’s house. It might be the last evening she spends out of a regulation orange jumpsuit for a long time.
