The Marchesa show was always going to be a big draw since it’s such a celebrity favourite. We were hoping for a couple more A-Listers, but hey, Fashion Week’s such a packed schedule that this lot is just fine. Kanye West, check. Kim Kardashian, looking strangely like Big Bird, check! Tyra Banks … check. But hold up. That smizing is really beginning to freak us out. Like … this is something right out of The Exorcist now. That — and her hair. What can we say about her hair? We can’t. We’ll just let you gaze in wonder at the photograph below.
Yeah. That. It is unreal. It goes beyond volume. And it’s as if she’s smizing right at us! How much more perfect could it get? Others present at the show were a ladylike Stacy Keibler, a very excited Sarah Hyland, a casual chic Rachel Roy, a retro-looking Jenna Dewan and Michelle Trachtenberg who looked like her Gossip Girl character, Georgina Sparks in sunglasses. Check them all out in the gallery below. Werk!

Considering yesterday’s Tribeca Ball red carpet was more meh than fabulous, we expected the Tribeca Film Festival’s Vanity Fair party to up the ante. Sadly, it didn’t. There were some stand-outs. Jessica White nailed it again in a cream gown with lace overlay and a sexy slit up the draped thigh. Helena Christensen looked fresh and fine in a summery white cocktail frock which was yards better than her pastoral maxi at the Tribeca Ball. Sticking to the white theme was Leelee Sobieski wore a very simple Jil Sander gown (see above right) that we absolutely love. Unfortunately, she killed it with a weird Star Wars-esque ‘do.
There were a couple of other head-scratchers too. Like why would Catherine Zeta-Jones put on that terribly unflattering metallic gray Michael Kors frock? Why would someone as gorgeous as Lily Cole put on a glorified sack? Why would Dakota Fanning (who was also a juror in the World Competition Category) put on a weird headband when her hot pink Lanvin dress was lovely enough on its own? To answer all these questions and to ask a couple of your own, head to the gallery to check out what everyone wore.

Hip-hop star turned-fashion mogul Damon Dash and his gorgeous designer wife Rachel Roy are splits-ville. The stunner surprised the Roc-a-fella founder with divorce papers recently after 4 years of marriage. The pair met when Roy was work at Damon’s clothing line, Rocawear, and have two kids together.
While they were once the golden couple of the hip-hop fashion world, things have recently soured. Dash once estimated his worth at “about 50 $million,” but he reportedly is dealing with some devastating debt, including $2 million worth of back taxes and foreclosures on 2 Manhattan condos. No wonder Roy, who’s been featured on Oprah Winfrey‘s show and left Rocawear to start her now-popular eponymous clothing line, is gettin’ out while she still can. [NYDN. Photo: GettyImages]
