In case you were worried that North West marked the end of reality-show stars with klever names, we have hope for you yet! Real Housewives of Atlanta alumna Kim Zolciak just gave birth to her twins with Atlanta Falcons player Kroy Biermann early this morning, and their names are Kaia Rose and Kane Ren, the mother of six announced on Instagram this morning. And oh, man, wait until you see who they’re named after:
It looks like Porsha Stewart may be a Real Housewife no longer, as her NFL husband Kordell has reportedly filed for divorce! The petition filed in an Atlanta court states that their 2-year marriage is “irretrievably broken” and that the pair are currently separated.
VH1 Divas host Adam Lambert apparently got some diva lessons from a pretty sweet teacher: Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes! VH1′s own reality queen, Jackie Christie of Basketball Wives LA, caught up with her during the red carpet excitement just before showtime, where NeNe admitted that Adam was the main attraction for her that night. “I am teaching him how to be a diva, so we’ll see that in the opening of the show. I’m like his mom tonight,” she gushed. “So I’ll be cheering for him and hoping that he does a fantastic job.”
But of course, that begs the question, what exactly is a diva? NeNe helpfully offered up her own expert definition. “Fierce and fabulous and a legend in their own field.” But she was quick to clarify that there’s more than one kind. “There are two different types of divas,” she explained. There’s a diva that is a bitch on wheels. And then there’s a diva that is fun and fabulous and outspoken. I feel like I’m the fun fabulous diva.” Jackie was quick to agree! “I think it’s great to be a legend but it’s also cool to be nice.”
In addition to helping Glambert up his sass cred, Nene is apparently getting busy in her private life too. Rumors are swirling that the Real Housewife is getting back with her ex-husband Gregg Leakes. Even after divorcing, NeNe has claimed that the pair are on good terms, and now there are reports they they’re to remarry during the holidays. That’s some serious Liz and Dick business right there! NeNe is staying mum on the subject, but played coy when a fan on Twitter asked if they could expect some Christmas nuptials. “Keep ur ears & eyes open,” she responded back. We’ll see!
Every year at this time, I give thanks for having a loving family and all the fortunate things that have happened in my life. I’d also give thanks to my wife if I had one, but to fill that void I’m thankful for all the other wives on television. The day a reality-TV wives came into my life, I knew everything about the world had changed for the better. They embody I love about a woman: beautiful, charismatic, hilarious and intolerant of any disrespect, even if it means a catfight. Not that they’re all alike, however. There’s the sugary sweet Tia and Tamera in contrast to the rowdy and sometimes rough around the edges Basketball Wives. Tamar‘s over-the-top.com personality next to Teresa flipping tables on Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Desperate Housewives might have been what sparked the flame for the Housewives mania, but it’s not doubt these Reality Wives have made a name for themselves well beyond the fictional soap. There’s no slowing down these women, and they’re only getting juicier every year — see: Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta and Hollywood Exes. In order to show my gratitude for these lovely ladies here are some GIFS of the Best Moments in Reality Wives History, according to me: Read more…
We’ll level with you: we haven’t totally accepted the fact that Keisha Knight Pulliam, better known to the world as Rudy Huxtable from The Cosby Show, didn’t just remain an adorable 7 year-old forever. We don’t care how many episodes of Tyler Perry’s House of Payne she appears on! But if these new rumors are true, it looks like we might have to wake up and face the facts that Rudy is all grown up. Reports are circulating that the former child-star has been tapped to join the cast of Real Housewives of Atlanta! According reports on MediaTakeOut.Com, Keisha will be filling the spot left by Kandi Burruss, who bounced from the series to take on her own spin-off show, The Kandi Factory. Although there has been no official press release as of yet, a “high ranking Bravo producer”confirmed the story. One snag, though: her never-married status doesn’t exactly qualify her as a “real housewife.” But hey, she does live in the Atlanta area, so you never know… Stay tuned!
