Katy Perry’s Raising Hope Outfit Looks Strangely Familiar

When we first saw Katy Perrys twitpic featuring herself in costume for her cameo on Raising Hope, we felt like we’d seen it before. Somewhere in the deep recesses of our mind, we knew exactly what we were looking at, but we couldn’t quite place it. It was really starting to drive us nuts! And then it hit us: She’s clearly the long lost love-chid of Queen guitar virtuoso Brian May and Reno 911′s Lt. Jim Dangle. Obviously! How did we not think of that before?!

Although she’s done a TV spot before on How I Met Your Mother,  this cameo has special significance to the pop princess.  It turns out she’s extremely tight with its star, Shannon Woodward. “A couple weeks ago I was home, just toasting up a frozen chicken fillet when [Shannon] called me up and asked if I wanted to do something ‘fun’ for a change and try out a guest role on her TV show,” Katy told the Huffington Post. “I thought, ‘Sure, I have nothing else to do, and I like chillin’ with my best friend.’” Who knows, maybe she’ll add an Emmy to her list of honors. That hair alone deserves an award!

Shia LeBeouf Is Clearly Using Mustache Wax Now

When we came across this picture of Shia LeBeouf hanging out with comedians Jim Gaffigan and Thomas Lennon, our minds came to a screeching halt. No, it wasn’t just because of the sheer randomness of the people gathered in the photo. It’s something much bigger, scragglier and grizzlier. We are of course talking about Shia’s beard, which has now officially reached epic proportions. Is he trying out for a part in Young Santa, the St. Nick biopic that we just made up right now? We hope, because we bet it would be Oscar bait. But truly the best part of his facial hair explosion is how he appears to have waxed the tip of his mustache. It definitely adds to that whole “dastardly but debonair villain” look. We get it, Shia, you’re not a kid anymore! But we’ll still always love Even Stevens.
