Hailee Steinfeld Cast In Romeo And Juliet

Hailee Steinfeld may not have won the role of Katniss in The Hunger Games, but she’s about to take on a much more famous part. Steinfeld was cast as Juliet in a reboot of Romeo and Juliet, which will film in Italy later this year. It will be her first film since shooting True Grit, for which she received an Oscar nom.

Steinfeld, 14, is the same age as Juliet in the Shakespeare play, and we think she looks just like Olivia Hussey, who also played Juliet in the 1968 version of the film. (Anyone else have to watch that for tenth grade English class? Just us? Okay.) No word on who will play opposite Steinfeld as her Romeo.
