Saturday Night Live has finally cast its first female black cast member since Maya Rudolph left the show five years ago. Her name is Sasheer Zamata. We told you back in October that she was totally ready for Saturday Night Live, and now that she’s been officially cast, we want to share with you all the reasons why she’s ready to be a featured cast member. (Hint: one of those reasons are her killer Beyoncé, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj and Michelle Obama impressions.)

John Goodman, Sylvester Stallone & Robert DeNiro Were A Bunch Of Wise Guys On SNL

John Goodman hosted Saturday Night Live for the first time in twelve years last night (and coincidentally it was his thirteenth time taking the reins at Studio 8H) with musical guest Kings Of Leon. The comedy giant brought his usual energy and perfect comic timing to the show, but he also brought along Sylvester Stallone and Robert DeNiro for the ride.

Paul Rudd Brought The Cast Of Anchorman 2 To SNL

Paul Rudd hosted Saturday Night Live for the third time last night and he not only brought the laughs–he brought what seemed to be the entire cast of Anchorman 2 to the stage. Will Ferrell, Steve Carrell and David Koechner joined Rudd to take on musical guest One Direction in an “Afternoon Delight” sing-off and Kristen Wiig brought her “Doonice” character back in a Sound of Music sketch.

The young star seemed up for anything last night, whether it was making fun of his character in The Hunger Games, making out with a turkey, lip-synching along with ’80s music or emulating a doomed subway dancer named “Lil’ Peanut.”
