In the latest in her long line of bad decisions, Lindsay Lohan fired her long time (and long suffering lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley, who has defended her through her epic legal battles. What the hell could Ms. Holley have done to get the ol’ heave ho from Lindsay? Did she hit on that dude from the Wanted? Did she say that Liz & Dick sucked worse than I Know Who Killed Me and Chapter 27 combined!? Nope: She was on her way to the courthouse to broker a deal with the judge that would get he out of jail time in exchange for going to rehab. Ahh. So, she was doing her job well. Got it.
TMZ is reporting that Holley was literally en route to the Santa Monica City Attorney to seal a plea bargain stemming from Lindsay lying to police after a car accident in June of last year. The attorney was apparently warm to the idea of letting Lindsay go in exchange for 6 months of “lockdown rehab,” but before Shawn could pull the trigger on the deal, she got 86’d by Lilo in exchange for a new lawyer. Who is this new hired hand, you ask? Well, he apparently got banned from practicing law for a spell in the 90s. Now that sounds more like Lindsay’s style!

You’re probably as saturated by Lindsay Lohan news as we are. Especially since she stole that necklace from Kamofie & Co. The last we had bothered to take notice of her legal drama was that the judge had refused to consider any plea bargain that didn’t have Li.Lo doing time in it. Now a twist has caused us to sit up and take notice again. Apparently, Kamofie & Co sold the surveillance tape of Lindsay with the necklace at the store, for more than $35,000! If you remember correctly, it was that video that was the most damning bit of evidence against her. A source reveals that both the prosecution and the defense are not happy at all with this news saying, “Neither side wanted it released. Neither side sanctioned this sale. The tape was sold in the U.S and abroad.”
Sounds super shady to us, but the company’s spokesperson Christopher Spencer says that it’s a legitimate move because Lindsay’s alleged theft has affected the store pretty badly. He revealed, “Customers have stayed away from the store because of paparazzi and the controversy. We worked with the non-profit organization known as the Associated Press to allow legitimate journalists and news access to the video.” Whatever, dude. That’s a fancy way of saying you sold her out to the highest bidder. What they didn’t realize, is that they’ve most likely helped Lindsay’s case and worked in her favor! Her lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley apparently thinks that the sale of the video vastly damages the stores credibility. A source explained, “… Holley has an excellent argument that the owners could have inflated the price of the necklace to the authorities. Holley will likely ask that in light of these new developments that Lindsay be sentenced to jail for no more than one to thirty days. If she got sentenced to thirty days, she would serve about seven days…” We’ll keep you posted on this latest turn of events.

With all the hoopla surrounding Lindsay Lohan it’s no wonder that her lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, slipped through the cracks of our radar. But then we saw this video of Lohan’s lawyer rocking short shorts and thought to ourselves, that’s some pretty serious rear-ending.
We went on thinking to ourselves … Ms Shawn’s got some sass going on! If you skip all the crazy with Lindsay at court, you’d notice that her constantly embattled advocate is always decked in cute cropped jackets, nipped just so at the waist, or a figure hugging dress that shows just the right amount of cleavage. We’ve even spotted a red sole or two. You know what that means: Hello, Louboutins!
More importantly, she seems to have a penchant bizarre manicures, just like her infamous client. We love this white dress with black detailing, but don’t think we can’t see that turquoise paint you got on, Shawn!
What do you think of the planet’s most overworked lawyer’s sartorial choices?

Just when she thought she was out, they pulled her back in. Lindsay Lohan‘s lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, quit abruptly last week after learning that Lindsay wanted to appeal her sentence. Unfortunately for Holley, Judge Marsha Revel, harsh as she may be toward Lindsay, will not allow Holley to leave the case and leave Lindsay without representation.
A source explained that Holley wants out of the case pretty much for all the reasons you’d expect, saying that Lohan “won’t take or follow advice. She is not returning calls, and so they haven’t been able to set up meetings with her and a psychologist for her court-ordered psychiatric evaluation.” Hey, that’s kind of like when Lindsay wouldn’t set up or attend meetings for her court-ordered alcohol education – you know, the stuff she skipped which caused this whole mess. We’re sensing a pattern. Lohan wants to appeal her jail sentence, a move that is allegely what prompted Holley to quit in the first place, since the chances of winning an appeal aren’t good.
