Hugh Hefner probably didn’t think he’d live to see this. According to TMZ, Crystal Harris has called off her wedding to the 85-year-old Playboy founder, with multiple sources claiming she moved out of the mansion after a heated phone conversation with Hef this weekend. Hefner and Harris, a 24-year-old ex-Playmate, announced their engagement late last year, to the consternation of his ex Holly Madison.
Since the wedding isn’t scheduled until Saturday, Harris has plenty of time to change her mind…assuming she’s run off in the first place. While TMZ says the argument went down over the weekend, Crystal has been innocently tweeting away the entire time, announcing her new single “Club Queen” (which Hef retweeted!) and, in the last few hours, sharing a Funny Or Die video she made about the age difference between her and Hef. The wedding would have been—or will be!—Hugh’s third.
UPDATE: Looks like the story is legit, Hef just tweeted “The wedding is off. Crystal has had a change of heart.” It’s amazing she’s been able to tweet through the tears.

How many times can a casual relationship end? Us Magazine announced in February that Amanda Seyfried and Ryan Phillippe had split after a series of casual encounters. “They are not dating anymore,” said their source at the time. “And it’s not a big deal for either of them.” Only the pair were clubbing and exercising together again the following month while the tabloids buzzed about Phillippe’s paternity drama with Alexis Knapp. And hey, why should she be freaked? They weren’t exclusive, it was all casual, and she knew Ryan already kids with his ex-wife Reese Witherspoon.
Just when we’d almost forgot they’d “broken up” in the first place, Us announced today that Ryan and Amanda split again—not that it’s a big deal or anything. “It was mutual,” says the insider. “They were never fully committed. They were always on and off. They were always seeing other people.” Yeesh, can these two please make up their mind? We’re going to be really ticked off if they’re hitting up nightspots this summer— how many times will Us have to announce it’s not a big deal that they’re finished again?

How did reality TV romancers Christopher Knight & Adrianne Curry celebrate beating the odds and reaching their 5th anniversary? By publicly separating. “The decision was mutually reached after it became clear to both that some perspective was needed in order to assess their unique union,” their lawyer told Hollyscoop. “Obvious to both Knight and Curry was that their marriage would require more effort then a garden-variety relationship. They are taking time to see if they want to continue to put in that extraordinary effort. The couple has mutually determined that they are at a place where moving forward will require a step back. They still love one another but need some distance to consider their future.”
Brady Bunch star Knight and America’s Next Top Model winner Curry met on VH1’s The Surreal Life in 2004, with their following courtship and romance chronicled on My Fair Brady. The pair have continued to work as TV personalities since the show’s end in 2008, with Knight and Curry appearing together at the Reality Rocks Expo this April. Despite Curry throwing her birth control pills away in the Season 3 finale of Brady, the pair had yet to conceive any children.

Mel Gibson has gone a bit balmy hasn’t he? Getting sh*itfaced and spewing anti-Semitic abuse, knocking up his mistress Oksana Grigorieva, cheating on her while she was pregnant, then splitting up for “undisclosed reasons.” We’re guessing it’s because Mel can’t keep his Mad Max in his pants.
Mel has now filed a restraining order against his baby mama Grigorieva, according to RadarOnline.com. She’s the mother of his illegitimate seven-month-old daughter. He filed the paperwork at the Los Angeles Superior Court in downtown Los Angeles, and Grigorieva was served the documents at her Sherman Oaks home. Apparently the issue revolves around Gibson’s access to their daughter, Lucia. We’re not sure how the two will resolve this dispute, but we do hold out hope that it involves a trip to the Thunderdome.
