Oooo, our faces are as red as our infected Spanx line! (Thank you, Tina Fey, for informing the world about that dire affliction.) As if it wasn’t enough for her to defy both gravity and cultural perceptions of beauty by becoming hotter as she enters her forties, Jennifer Lopez obviously wore a dress with butt cut-outs to the Parker premiere last night just to demonstrate how she doesn’t need the four pairs of overlapping Spanx most leading ladies wear on the red carpet. Or, uh, any underwear whatsoever. Jeez, we get it, Jennifer Lopez. Your body is its own Spanx.
We for one have never understood people who think Zooey Deschanel‘s wardrobe is too twee. Or cutesy or quirky or young or whatever it is the Internet is saying this week. Why not take on sunshine and polka dots too, if girly things make you that mad? Turns out, we’re not the only ones rolling our eyes at the inexplicable hate. “I’m just being myself. There is not an ounce of me that believes any of that crap that they say,” Zooey rages in her new Glamour interview. “We can’t be feminine and be feminists and be successful? I want to be a f—ing feminist and wear a f—ing Peter Pan collar. So f—ing what?” Preach. Amen.
We think it’s both hilarious that Zooey knows how everyone associates her with Peter Pan collars, and feel the need to point out that eevery single famous woman wears them. We’d be wearing one too if we weren’t still wearing our pajamas. (Some of us work from home and we haven’t found PJs with Peter Pan collars yet.)(Please get on it, Zooey.) So in defense of offing Peter Pan collars and Zooey’s right to wear them, we thought we’d give props to the other celebrities who have been looking on point in a Peter Pan collar. It’s the perfect look for any feminist millionaire with her own TV show!

We know that all celeb kids are cute. Obviously. We have eyes with which to see. It’s just that some celeb kids have a preternaturally developed sense of style, while the rest of us are wearing old soccer t-shirts with grape juice stains. As adults. So while we are more than happy to squee over the most shabbily dressed bundle of joy, we’d like to give props to the Best of 2012 celeb kids and babies, from Moroccan Scott Cannon to Suri Cruise, who will be dictating what America will be wearing in five to ten years. Or right now. We already feel compelled to wear short pants, bow ties and pull-ups. Don’t tell us we can’t because we already stopped listening!

New Girl reached a new height of adorableness last night with an ep that focused primarily on Jess and CeCe’s sweet lady friendship, though we did have to deal with the absurdity of a world where Zooey Deschanel is considering ridiculous compared to models. Let’s be honest: Zooey Deschanel is straight-up one of the hottest ladies on the planet. Don’t believe us? Please check out the outfit she wore out the club last night. Please.
Let’s be real. Comedic geniuses and BFFs IRL Tina Fey and Amy Poehler have never looked better. Flaunting their figures in Vivienne Westwood and Stella McCartney frocks respectively, the pair looked confident, sexy and positively radiant. Whatever you’re doing, ladies, it’s working.
Other red carpet highlights included Kat Dennings‘ flawlessly foxy red-on-red look and Heidi Klum‘s doubly sky-high slits. Mad Men‘s Jessica Pare took a page from the Megan Draper fashionable playbook and rocked a custom Jason Wu black and white ensemble.

Donned in his fashion show best – a navy bit-too-long wool suit – everyone’s favorite “bad” boy Aaron Paul hit London Fashion Week yesterday, sitting front row for Burberry’s Spring/Summer 2013 womenswear show. While seated next to picture of goth perfection Dita Von Teese, One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles and the adorable Dev Patel, Paul’s emotions seemed to range from befuddled to angry to gleeful. We can’t get enough. Aaron, feel free to attend and react to every event from here on out. Take a look at eight of his most amazing facial expressions below, plus two bonus shots of his dapper look and two new besties.
Who puts a short curvy woman in a boxy blazer and takes away her pants? What Not To Wear‘s Stacy and Clinton must be spinning in their graves. Er…in their accessory closets right now! Kim Kardashian stepped out today to visit Jacob the Jeweler in New York while wearing what appears an old blazer Kanye received as a hand-me-down from his great-granduncle. When his grand-granduncle died. On his yacht. We were so aghast when we saw it, it took us a moment to notice that Kim is awkwardly holding the blazer closed. We shudder to think which of Kim’s outfits Kanye threw away to make room for this number. We’re assuming she does too.
The only good part of Kim’s look is that it reminded us of Kanye’s verse on Nicki Minaj‘s song “Blazin,” which is what we’re going to call “Kanye making you wear a blazer dress” from now on. Our favorite part of Kim’s outfit it is how psyched Kanye seems over his sartorial selection. Look at his eyes! “Yes, my blazer looks very becoming on you. Then again, if I were on you…” and so forth. You know this is only the beginning, right? We’re going to see soooooo many Kanye outfits on Kim from now on. The man must own 1,000 pairs of baggy leather trousers alone!

Hmmm, which one is less appealing: Chris Brown‘s new prison-style neck tattoo, or the gold grillz Rihanna paired with opaque lilac lip gloss night? On one hand, Rihanna can take out the aforementioned grillz whenever she wants, rather than, say, having to pay thousands of dollars to have them lasered off. On the other hand, Chris Brown can walk into any restaurant in the world and immediately enjoy a nice meal unhindered by his sugar skull/MAC advert/alleged portrait of RiRi getting in the way. What’s the point of wearing grillz to Giorgio Baldi, knowing that you’ll have to excuse yourself to the ladies room, spit them out and keep them in your purse wrapped in a napkin? Unless we completely misunderstand grillz? Which is more than possible?
“That’s a dog bag, no?” Is there any more painful sentence to hear when your boyfriend and his stylist take it upon themselves to give you a wardrobe makeover? Probably not, but Kim Kardashian takes it like a champ as Kanye and stylist Renelou Pardora purge her closet on last night’s episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Well, almost. “I’m literally crying,” Kim warns. Not that parts of Kanye’s What Not To Wear rampage aren’t adorable: “I like natural looking. Because I grew up on ’80s magazines… You look amazing,” Kanye promises when Kim tries to hike up her boob up to her collarbone. “Well, I don’t!,” she reports. Fashion LOL! At least Kanye didn’t literally throw Kim’s clothes into a garbage can. In fact, as Kim tweeted today, “The clothes I got rid of on tonight’s episode will be up on EBay next month for a charity auction! Going to Life Change Community Church.” Anyone interested in five dozen pairs of platform pumps? Hmmm?
Of course, this is only the latest part of an ongoing change in Kim’s style that we assume is largely Kanye’s doing. Would it be such a stretch to think that Yeezy is also behind Kim’s decision to…
