Vanessa Hudgens Is A Front Row Fashionista

And you think you’re busy this week: Vanessa Hudgens hit the front row at least four Fashion Week shows in NY, and wearing a different look to every single one. Naturally, she’s making some famous friends: the High School Musical star went hippie to bond with Fergie at the Anna Sui show, and sat next to Kanye West at the Jeremy Scott show in sexy heels and a short cross-covered one-piece. Her most glamorous look was at the Marchesa show, where she unveiled a runway-ready red, ruffled gown. Looks like Hudgens’ shiny suit at the Marc Jacobs show Monday was just the beginning. Get a closer look at her humpday fashion show heroics—and the tight dress she wore to the Diesel show Tuesday—in the gallery below.

Emma Watson Upstages Blake Lively At Elle UK Style Awards

Blake Lively may have brought the gown, but she wasn’t the belle of Elle UK’s Style Awards last night. Lively got a little too fashion-forward on the red carpet, with so much blue fabric pouring out of the front of her top that the Gossip Girl‘s outfit looked like flimsy maternity wear. Emma Watson had no such problem, wearing a short pink dress from Hakaan that hopefully reminded Blake that cut-outs should be flattering, not random (also, there’s “leggy” and then there’s a giant gap between the folds of your dress). Blake better hope Green Lantern is a hit—she can’t just assume she’ll be the ingenue anymore.

Get a closer look at both dresses in the gallery below.

Vanessa Hudgens Shines, Literally, At Marc Jacobs’ Show

There’s something about this super-shiny number that Vanessa Hudgens wore to the Marc Jacobs show at Fashion Week in New York that doesn’t work for us. It could be the shine-on-shine element (too many satiny pink things all in one outfit, it’s a St. Valentine’s Day Fashion Massacre), it could just be that shiny blazers are best left to Mick Jagger and the cast of Dynasty. To be fair, Hudgens looks great otherwise and we’d kill to have legs like that, it’s just the jacket that’s slowly killing us. Check out a few more close-up shots in our gallery and tell us what you think of this ensemble.

Leona Lewis Batting Zero In The Boob-Flattering Dress Department This Week

Leona Lewis is not having a good week, sartorially speaking. Wednesday Lewis showed up at Essence‘s 2nd Annual Black Women In Music Reception wearing some kind of bright yellow Minnie Mouse bow as a shirt, already having worn giant lips over her breasts at the premiere of Justin Bieber: Never Say Never the day before. Last night she took a chance on yet another unflattering top and the payoff was more sports bra than sex pot.

Lewis attended the “Unforgettable Evening” Benefit for EIF Women’s Cancer Research Fund and, while the event was for a great cause, we’re completely confused once again by what the hell she was thinking wearing this Lycra-as-formalwear ensemble. Girl, do you need us to call Rachel Zoe for you? ‘Cause you need lesson in how best to flatter what God gave you, and you can’t do it alone.

Nicole Richie Goes Glam In New York

Nicole Richie is in New York City for Fashion Week this week and she showed up at an event at Bergdorf Goodman yesterday dressed to kill. Richie attended the “Celebrate New York” event, which was also attended by fellow designer Charlotte Ronson and a handful of stylists, publicists and other -ists, but of course Richie is the one who stood out the most. We’re loving her throwback look here. Proof once again that she can commit no fashion crimes in our eyes.

Nicole Kidman Blames Her Fashion Choices On Her 2-Year-Old

Nicole Kidman, if a 2-year-old told you to jump off a bridge, would you? The actress told Us at Monday’s Oscar Nominees Luncheon that her daughter Sunday has “strong opinions” about what her mommy wears on the red carpet.  “She chooses what she calls ‘pretty dresses,’ so she has a very strong voice in terms of what I will be wearing on the night of the Oscars,” she warned. “Fingers crossed, guys—I could be wearing a tutu!” Somehow we don’t think Sunday was responsible for Nicole combining a tight leather dress with a sheer blouse (is that a cravat?) at the Just Go With It premiere, though. We’re guessing one of Sunday’s “pretty dresses” would be more flattering.

See photos of Nicole’s peculiar pairing in the gallery below. Does Sunday tell Keith Urban to put on all that eyeliner, too?

Nick Cannon Wears His Lucky Underpants

In case you’ve ever wondered what’s on Nick Cannon‘s airport checklist, we can tell  you right now. Vuitton luggage? Check. Neck pillow? Check. Layers of clothing in case of cool cabin air? Check. Four leaf clover underpants? You bet.

Cannon showed off his skivvies as he was going through security at LAX and to be honest, we always did figure him one for clever underpinnings. Get a close-up look below.

Anne Hathaway’s Fashion Disaster At Rio Premiere

This is so hard for us because we do love Anne Hathaway but what was this girl thinking with this outfit? Anne showed up to the screening of the animated movie Rio, in which she voices a character, wearing something that might best be described as a reject from Cher’s closet in Clueless. The capri ruffled pants, the cropped sweater, it’s all a little ’90s and, as our mother would say “It’s too busy.” Maybe Anne herself was too busy to notice what she was wearing as she ran out the door? We’re all for taking fashion risks, but this is just a big “don’t” for us. Check out her look in more detail in our gallery.

Michelle Obama Wears McQueen To State Dinner

Alright, Mrs. O! We’ve always been fans of the first lady and her fashion stylings, but Michelle Obama in Alexander McQueen has hit it out of the ball park. The occasion was a state dinner for the Chinese President, Hu Jintao last night. It’s also less than a month away from the one year anniversary of McQueen’s death, so this whole outfit feels like the prefect tribute. This gorgeous gown was designed by the late designer’s former assistant, Sarah Burton, who looks like she just fine at the reigns of the fashion house.

Just look at it? The crimson and black ruffled silk organza creation looks like a dream on Michelle. Perhaps it was customized, because this design seems to be a variation of this dress from the McQueen collection? She merchandised it up just right too, with large droplet earrings and a fringed black shawl. Who knew she would get so avant-garde? We guess that’s why there’s a whole website dedicated to Michelle-fashion, because you never know what she’s going to throw on next.

Amy Adams’ Top 20 Hottest Dresses

Amy Adams

While it was Amy AdamsCritics’ Choice Movie Award winning performance in Junebug that first brought the actress to our attention, it wasn’t until she got down with Will Ferrell on a restaurant table in Talladega Nights that we realized just how hot she was (“And you ride it—you ride it like a skeleton horse through the gates of hell!”). A regular on the red carpet thanks to big roles in Enchanted, Doubt and Julie & Julia, Adams has had plenty of opportunities to show off her stuff in glamorous gowns and tiny—but tasteful—dresses. Whether Adams wins another CCMA for playing the sexiest bartender in Lowell, Massachusetts in The Fighter (we’ll totally forgive the almost anachronistic tramp stamp), we’re sure she’s got some killer looks lined up for awards season.
