Joseph Gordon-Levitt Celebrates His Porn Addiction At Sundance, With Help From Tony Danza

Tony Danza, Julianne Moore, Joseph Gordon-Levitt at Sundance

OK, the Sundance Film Festival isn’t stooping to adult movie screenings just yet, but the festival was pretty excited to premiere a movie about pornography, so anything is possible. Actually, our friends at the Sundance Channel were also eager to share with us the photos from the premiere party (co-hosted by DirecTV), celebrating Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s writing and directing debut, Don Jon’s Addiction. He stars as the titular Jon, a Jersey boy who has no trouble picking up ladies as hot as Scarlett Johansson at the clubs, but for some reason still prefers watching porn to participating in the real deal. Tony Danza co-stars as his father — completing that 3rd Rock From the Sun/Who’s the Boss crossover fantasy you always had, right? — and Julianne Moore is a woman Jon meets at a night class.

Ashton Kutcher Is An Uncanny Ringer For Steve Jobs In First Official Photograph

Ashton Kutcher As Steve Jobs, First Promo Photo

So, y’all know that Ashton Kutcher is starring in a biopic based on Steve Jobs life, right? The working title is jOBS and news has released that it will premiering at Sundance, and will be the closing event at the festival next year, in January. The first promotional picture of Ashton in character as the late Jobs appeared on the Sundance website yesterday — you can see it above — and we have to say our jaws dropped flat to the the ground. Especially if you compare it to the photograph below.

That’s the actual Steve Jobs in a photo that dates circa 1981-82, taken from All About Steve Jobs, which is a pretty incredible site. The resemblance between the two is just uncanny. We’ve been reading reports of how Ashton fits the role perfectly but now we can see it for ourselves. Josh Gad (who plays Steve Wozniak) was right when he told US Weekly last month at the BAFTA Brittania Awards, “Ashton is going to blow a lot of people away. His performance was absolutely transformational. If he looked any more like Steve Jobs, I think it would just confuse a lot of people . . . It’s that uncanny.”

Lizzie Olsen, The Breakout Start Of Sundance, Has Some Famous Sisters You May Have Heard Of

For 10 days or so each and every January, Hollywood takes a brief respite from the relentless pace of Awards Season and trades in their formalwear for thermal underwear. Everyone who’s anyone in the movie industry is currently in Park City, Utah for the 2011 Sundance Film Festival. And of all the silver screen icons that are in town right now, there is one young actress who might just end up being the Next Big Thing™. Meet Lizzie Olsen, who is already being labeled with celestial monikers like the “breakout star” (The Wrap) and “new supernova in the Sundance galaxy” (NY Post) by breathless journalists.

If the 21 year-old Lizzie Olsen’s face looks more familiar than her name, it’s most likely because her older sisters are the most famous twins in the known universe. Yes, Lizzie is the younger sister of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, stars of Full House (and, well, not much else). Although the NYU student Lizzie doesn’t yet have the same name recognition as her sisters, she seems poised for big things. She stars in two movies that have got critics and festival goers abuzz, the one-shot horror film Silent House and the “maximum-creepy” thriller, Martha Marcy May Marlene (say that five times fast!). And although it will likely be a few months before either one of these films makes its way to a theater near you, we figured now would be as good a time as any to introduce you to Lizzie Olsen!
