Simon Cowell Presents Your New X Factor Judges: Britney Spears and Demi Lovato!

It’s finally official, set-in-stone, greenlit and ready to go! After weeks of rumors, Britney Spears and Demi Lovato were officially presented this afternoon as the newest judges on The X Factor. We announced last week that Britney finally inked a $15 million deal after years (OK, maybe just months) of back and forth negotiations, and this morning we passed along unconfirmed reports that Demi was signing on as well. But now we know for real that the two Disney alums will be taking over seats left by former judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger.

“I’m so exited about this whole experience,” she said at the Fox network “upfront” this afternoon in New York. “I’m ready to find a true star.” Demi was equally enthusiastic. “I’m exited to represent my generation.” For his part, Simon was his usual cocky sharp-tonged self. “I’m thrilled they The Voice have decided to compete with us in the fall,” he said with a smirk. “I wish them luck.” Bold words, considering that the first season of the show didn’t match the overwhelming success of American Idol a decade before. But…come on, it’s Britney freakin’ Spears. She’s sure to be a much-needed shot in the arm as far as the ratings are concerned! Right? Or are we just showing our age…?

Nina Dobrev Shows Off A Kick-Ass Yoga Move On Conan

Big win for Team Coco! Nina Dobrev was on Conan O’Brien‘s show last night, to build up today’s season finale of The Vampire Diaries. We were wondering why she chose to wear a pair of formal shorts for the interview, but as the episode unfolded, we figured out just why. It’s also directly related to why Conan himself said, “Best job in the world!” at the end of the segment. He actually got Nina to get down on her hands and knees to do a super-bendy yoga move called “The Scorpion” on the show!

Nina’s been practicing yoga for years, FYI. Best of all, she had to use Conan as a “human wall” to balance her legs on. And then used his knees to tuck her feet in as she bent them over, reminiscent of a scorpion’s tail. Not only did Conan look like he couldn’t believe his luck, but the expression on guest Joel McHale‘s face was priceless too, especially when Nina’s legs go shooting up. He couldn’t help but exclaim, “This is awesome.” It is awesome, guys, and it’s all in the video above. Her boyfriend, Ian Somerhalder is a lucky, lucky man.

Girls, What Do You Think About Girls, Veep Getting A Second Season?

Ladies (and gentlemen-ladies), how would you feel about a second season of Girls? Or Veep? As of today, HBO has decided to renew both freshman shows for a 10-episode second season, a pretty quick decision considering they’ve only been on the air for a matter of a few weeks. Girls has so far been attracting a respectable 3.8 million viewers a week, while Veep has been pulling down 3.7 million. So our question is: are you are psyched for another season of Lena Dunham and Julia Louis-Dreyfus? Are you quietly thinking that only one (the one you love) should have made it to their sophomore season? Have you been pretending to watch them so you have something to talk about at lunch, when in reality all you watch is TLC’s My Strange Addiction? Not that we’d blame you, ladies (and man-ladies).

Alternatively, maybe you’re still so exhausted from the non-stop build-up to Girls that you haven’t mustered up the energy to have an opinion about another season of it? If so, let the ladies of Rex (Rachael Mason, Kerry McGuire and Stephanie Bencin) and a million other lady comedians run through every possible opinion for you in their video “S— Girls Say About The Show Girls” video. Kim Kardashian Wants Her Own Sitcom, We Pitch Her Some Remake Ideas

Kim Kardashian’s reality show already seems scripted all to hell. In fact, her whole life seems like it’s completely plotted by evil mastermind Kris Jenner. So it’s probably no surprise that Kim’s rarin’ to move on to the real thing; a sitcom! Sources close to the celebrity say that she’s in talks to develop her own half hour series. “Kim wants to move beyond reality TV and become a comedy actress,” a friend told Page Six. “She really wants to be the next Sofia Vergara.”

This comes on the heals of her recent guest spot on 30 Rock, as well as the scenes she shot for Tyler Perry’s upcoming movie, The Wedding Counselor. Now that she has a taste for comedy, it seems like Kim wants more! While the odd cameo is fine every now and again, does she have the comedy chops to head up a full original series? We’re not so sure. So to help her out, we’ve put together a list of remakes that Kim could star in, without straying too far from her own reality. Check ‘em out in the gallery below!

Jennifer Lawrence Plays With Toys, Busts Out Her Stank Face On Spanish TV

Even though the show is recorded for Spanish TV, Jennifer Lawrence‘s priceless reactions on Spain’s El Hormiguero today could transcend any language barrier. Everyone in the world enjoys it when celebrities have no idea what’s going on, right? Besides looking alternately repulsed and ecstatic, Jennifer took part in a number of other semi-humiliating activities. For example, busting out her archery skills in a non-cinematic environment and, uh, slicing a watermelon in half for some reason. Welcome to the A-list, lady! Check your Oscar nom at the door!

Lawrence also really got into playing with Hunger Games dolls of Katniss, Peet and Gale. Based on her stunned expression, handling an action figure of yourself must be as unsettling as we think it would be. Actually, now that we mention it, this entire show must be as unsettling as we think it would be. Then again, seeing as how Adam Sandler had to, um, shock himself in the crotch when he was on the show with Jennifer Aniston in February, we’d say Lawrence dodged a bullet. Unless…unless that’s what’s behind all of Jennifer’s insane grimacing? We just thought she was reacting to that weird worm puppet! This changes everything!

The Alternate Reality Friends Cast Will Blow Your TV-Loving Mind

It’s impossible to imagine watching an episode of Friends without seeing the familiar faces of Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, Matthew Perry, Lisa Kudrow and Matt Leblanc. The chemistry generated between the gang made it one of the most iconic lineups in TV history. Hell, they’re like the Beatles of situation comedies! John, Paul, George and Kevin just doesn’t have the same ring to it, y’know? So by the same token, it’s a little jarring to see the original casting choices for the legendary show.

The news comes to us from the folks at Vanity Fair, who are running an “oral history” of the series in their latest issue. It’s definitely fascinating to see how television history might have turned out. Could Jon Cryer have been a snarkier Chandler? Would Tea Leoni have made a better Rachel? Game Of Thrones Star Sean Bean Thinks Downton Abbey Is Kinda Meh

When Sean Bean rolled up to talk to us at the Mirror, Mirror premiere recently, it was all we could do to keep from shouting “GAME OF THRONEZZZ OMG!” Yes, the show is that amazing, thanks in large part to Bean’s portrayal of Ned Stark. (His role in Mirror, Mirror is kind of blink-and-you-miss it, but pivotal and classic Sean Bean nonetheless.) We asked the British actor for his thoughts on another niche show with a mega-following, Downton Abbey. He surprised us by not being as big a fan as, well, the entire Internet seems to be. “I’ve kind of seen it all before,” he said when asked if he was into the show. “I might sound a bit flip, but I don’t think it’s representative of what the English are, of what the English were.

“I think it’s very well done and very well acted,” he continued. “It’s OK.” For more of the delightful Mr. Bean’s thoughts on Downton, and the kinds of stories of the U.K. that we should be seeing, check out our interview above. And Game of Thrones fans, take note (spoiler-y, if you STILL haven’t seen season one): The actor told us he’d be tuning in for this season, even though he’s not, uh, in it.

Bobbi Kristina Brown Reportedly Cast In Tyler Perry Sitcom

After surviving some of the toughest weeks of her life, we’re happy to finally report some good news for Bobbi Kristina Brown. The 19-year-old has reportedly been cast to appear in the new season of Tyler Perry’s sitcom, For Better Or For Worse. The show is based on Perry’s blockbuster Why Did I Get Married franchise, and Bobbi is rumored to make her acting debut as the daughter of one of the stylists. Brown has apparently been getting closer to Perry since he spoke at her mother Whitney Houston’s funeral last month.

The role will likely come as a welcomed distraction to all of the turmoil in the young woman’s life lately. Her family has said that Bobbi has been feeling “lost” in the wake of her mother’s death. “Everyone is worried about Bobbi,” an insider confided to Us Weekly. “Bobbi just doesn’t want anyone’s help. She’s lost.” Bobbi was hospitalized for anxiety, and now also has to contend with her father Bobby Brown’s DUI, and media scrutiny of her relationship with “adopted brother” Nick Gordon. Hopefully she’ll find some peace in getting her acting career off the ground.

The Game Of Thrones Stars: On And Off The Set

Spring may have just arrived, but for millions of Game of Thrones fans, winter is nigh. The ants in our pants that’ve been kicking around since those three little dragons appeared on Dany’s shoulders can finally take a nap as the cult hit returns to HBO on Sunday night.

One of the visually-stunning show’s strengths is the extensive hair, makeup and costuming the cast undertakes. Each day pretty brunette Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) undergoes a transformation into a bleached-out, lady warrior to play Khaleesi. Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister) goes blonde as well and cute Maisie Williams rocks a full-on tomboy look as Arya Stark. Prep for the much-anticipated premiere by checking out the primary cast (some lost last season…spoiler alert!) on and off the set.

40 Reasons We Can’t Wait For Mad Men To Come Back

Every day we wake up, run to the calender and see if it’s finally March 25. Why do we do this? Because that’s the day Mad Men finally returns to our TV sets! It’s been over a year, and we have so many questions that need to be answered, so many characters to catch up with…and so many sexy styles to feast our eyes upon. At least the cast has been helping us out on that last part, with Jon Hamm, January Jones, and Christina Hendricks appearing in an endless stream of sizzling spreads for magazines around the world. The latest comes from from Elisabeth Moss, who appeared on the cover of Page Six Magazine yesterday looking light-years away from her dowdy Peggy Olsen alter ego.

“Sometimes you just wanna wear somethin’ real tight and show it all off,” she says, donning a trench coat, bra and not much else for most of the shoot. “Lately I’ve been in that mood.” Despite this mood, Moss says she doesn’t regret having to stick to a much more subdued wardrobe for her role on the show. “I would much rather have an interesting character to play. I didn’t get into the business to be a model.” But one look at these red hot pics shows that she could definitely be at home on the catwalk. In fact, the show boasts perhaps the most attractive cast in TV history (sorry, Golden Girls).

It’s been a long year and a half since we’ve seen Don, Betty, Peggy and Joan and all of their glamorous glory, and we’re not sure if we can take another few weeks.
