Father’s Day is this weekend, which has us thinking of the greatest father in television history: Bill Cosby as Dr. Cliff Huxtable on The Cosby Show. Is it his humor, intelligence or strong moral compass that puts him at number one? Nah. It’s all about his sweater collection.
Malcolm Jamal Warner and Regina King seemed like a match made in ’80s child star heaven. But after two years, the actors have called it quits — breaking the hearts of The Cosby Show and 227 fans, everywhere (a moment of silence for NBC’s genius mid-Eighties prime-time lineup). Read more…
We’ll level with you: we haven’t totally accepted the fact that Keisha Knight Pulliam, better known to the world as Rudy Huxtable from The Cosby Show, didn’t just remain an adorable 7 year-old forever. We don’t care how many episodes of Tyler Perry’s House of Payne she appears on! But if these new rumors are true, it looks like we might have to wake up and face the facts that Rudy is all grown up. Reports are circulating that the former child-star has been tapped to join the cast of Real Housewives of Atlanta! According reports on MediaTakeOut.Com, Keisha will be filling the spot left by Kandi Burruss, who bounced from the series to take on her own spin-off show, The Kandi Factory. Although there has been no official press release as of yet, a “high ranking Bravo producer”confirmed the story. One snag, though: her never-married status doesn’t exactly qualify her as a “real housewife.” But hey, she does live in the Atlanta area, so you never know… Stay tuned!
It’s no secret that Keshia Knight Pulliam, who played Rudy Huxtable on The Cosby Show and who we thought would make a great best friend, has grown into a gorgeous woman. Pulliam showed her grown up side in Chingy’s video for “One Call Away” a couple years ago and it was a far cry away from the little Rudy we knew and loved, and she certainly looked gorgeous on the red carpet of the TV Land Awards last night as well. Check out some of our most favorite television stars from The Cosby Show, Family Ties, and The Facts of Life, who were all honored with awards last night at the ceremony in New York City. Everyone seems to have aged pretty well, but no one’s as hot as Keshia. (Sorry, Abe Vigoda.)
The awards will air on April 17th at 9pm ET on TV Land.
