Rob Pattinson, Kristen Stewart And Taylor Lautner Cover Entertainment Weekly

Well, well, well. Look who we have giving smolder-face off the cover of Entertainment Weekly. It’s Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart which is a no-brainer considering all the hype around The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1. And they’re giving dish on the movie, especially on that love scene that has us all in a tizzy. Robert revealed, “There’s a version where it was really intense.” Kristen adds, “Cinematically, cut all together, it’s awesome. But we didn’t really do that scene.” Rob then pitches in with, “And when we did, they kept telling us to stop.” PG-13 can be such a killjoy.

Kristen also talks about wishing she hadn’t had to tone down the birth scene. She says, “That’s what I’m really disappointed about — and I’ve talked about it with Bill. It was more sympathetic or something when I played the scene with less energy, and it made it easier for him to tell the story.” It’s a different story altogether in the book, where, as Kristen put it, “Bella is screaming, ‘NOOOOO!’ And I did it like that — crazy and Exorcist-like. I was going for this weird mix of turning into the most feral mother you can imagine and also fighting for my own life. I mean, I was a nutcase. I was an absolute nutcase.” There’s a lot more there, EW promises, but we’ll have to wait for the issue out tomorrow.

Nikki Reed Didn’t Mean “Best Friends” Quote “In A Bad Way”

Nikki Reed caught some flak from the media and the Twilight fan community this week, when excerpts of her interview with Seventeen magazine came out and she admitted that the cast members are “not all best friends.” Well, when we had the chance to sit down with the one and only Rosalie Hale we asked her to elaborate a bit, before we all jump to conclusions about strife on the set.

“It’s easy to take any simple, honest, not-negative statement and make it negative,” she said of the quote. “If you think about it, this cast has had so little drama. The press tries to take whatever they can and make it into something, even if it’s just a really silly statement. They’re like, ‘Oh my god, that’s bad!’ But if you think about it, what I was trying to say wasn’t bad at all.

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart Get Very Touchy At Breaking Dawn London Premiere

At this point, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are as subtle about their never-officially-admitted-to relationship as Jessica Simpson was about her pregnancy. The pair could not keep their hands off each other at the London premiere of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 today. Jeez, if it were anyone else, we’d be telling them to get a room. But it’s Robsten, so we want more. Even Taylor Lautner didn’t seem to mind. We’re kind of torn about whether we love Kristen’s black Roberto Cavalli from this premiere better than Monday night’s J. Mendel. Monday’s was edgier, today’s is more flattering. Maybe? Well, you tell us.

Breaking Dawn Superfan Week: Twilight Lexicon’s Founder Defines Fandom

We’re halfway through our Breaking Dawn Superfan Week, and we thought it was about time to give a nod (or maybe bow down) to one of the sites that started it all, Twilight Lexicon. Lori Joffs started the Lex long before most of the world had even heard of Edward and Bella, and all these years later, it’s still the ultimate resource for info on the books, mythology, movies and Stephenie Meyer. Lori (a.k.a. Alphie) looked back at how it all began for her, and what the future beyond Twilight looks like for her.

TheFABlife: When did you first fall in love with Twilight?
Lori Joffs: I read Twilight in January of 2006. It took me a few chapters to get into, but by the end I was fascinated by this impossible romance of a vampire who loved this girl for her humanity and a human who loved the supernatural qualities of this vampire. I wondered how they could ever make it work when she would obviously have to become a vampire in order for them to be together, and thus lose her humanity, which was a huge factor for the vampire. It was a conundrum that played on my brain enough to send me looking on the Internet for more people to talk to about it.

TFL: What’s the moment you can’t wait to see in Breaking Dawn (1 or 2)?
LJ: There are so many! But I think the one that will be the most fascinating is the birth. We’ve been talking about that scene since they started filming Twilight. How can they do it, keep it just as gory and as frightening, and yet stay PG-13? I’m sure it will be just amazing!

TFL: How many times have you read the books? How many times seen the previous movie?
LJ: I haven’t any clue how many times I’ve read the books! Cover to cover, I’ve read them all at least twice. I’ve read Twilight and Eclipse more than New Moon and Breaking Dawn, though. I believe I’ve read Eclipse about a dozen times. However, I’ve read segments over and over again from all the books.

TFL: How many times do you plan on seeing Breaking Dawn Part 1?
LJ: I know I will see it at least three times in the theater because I have plans for three times. I might see it more than that, but we’ll have to see!

TFL: What will you do after you’ve seen it that many times?
LJ: Start planning for the next film, I suppose! And update the website with actor info and images.

TFL: What will you do after the final movie is out?
LJ: I’ve very excited for The Host as a movie. VERY excited. I might get bashed for saying it, but I’d take Ian O’Shea over Edward Cullen any day of the week! As much as I fell for Edward in the books, I fell even harder for Ian! So I’ll probably start focusing on that project. We’ve already started working on TheHostLexicon.com even.

Nikki Reed Covers Seventeen, Talks Twilight Cast Dynamics

Nikki Reed‘s beaming on the December cover of Seventeen magazine, but on the topic of her Twilight castmates she isn’t exactly full of sunshine. We’re so used to seeing them chummy on red carpets, that we’d all like to believe that they’re BFFs in real life. That’s not always the case, as Nikki clarifies in the interview, “In the beginning, it was innocent and fun, and we were like one big happy family –– it was like being at sleepaway camp. And then success comes along and changes the dynamic.” That’s when we cutaway to a shot of the actress looking moodily into the future with a dramatic swell of music in the background. Easy now, we kid.

But after Breaking Dawn, the actress realistically said that not all on-set relationships will spill over to real life. “We’re not all best friends, and we’re not all going to hang out together after the final movie is done.” Does that include Kristen Stewart? Those two used to be besties, but we haven’t heard a peep about them in a while. ”She makes really good dessert,” is what Nikki answered when asked what she’d miss about KStew the most. That’s it? There’s got to be more to miss!

Breaking Dawn Superfan Week: It’s All About Chemistry For Kristen Stewart Newsers

This afternoon’s entry in our annals of Breaking Dawn Superfan Week salutes is a three-for-one special! Jess, April and Ashley run KStewartNews.com, a beautifully designed hub for all of Kristen Stewart‘s interviews, photos and movie news. While they’re lucky enough to run a site that will likely have plenty more to do long after Breaking Dawn Part 2 leaves theaters, they’re serious Twilighters too. Here’s what they have to say about the franchise that launched their girl into superstardom.

TheFABlife: When did you first fall in love with Twilight?
Jess: I fell in love with the story after reading the first book. I feel in love with the films after seeing Rob and Kristen’s amazing chemistry and how well they brought Edward and Bella to life.
April: During Twilight promo, some chap named Robert Pattinson came to a Philly mall, and it was ALL over the local news — pandemonium! It piqued my interest and made me curious as to what the excitement was about. I picked up the books and have been hooked ever since. Then, I saw Kristen and Rob onscreen together, and I was a goner.
Ashley: Late January 2009 my sister and I had a hard time deciding on a movie to see and settled on Twilight. Call it love at first sight. I literally got in my car and bought New Moon immediately. Kristen and Rob hooked me.

TFL: What’s the moment you can’t wait to see in Breaking Dawn (1 or 2)?
Jess: I am gonna be captain obvious here and say the wedding, honeymoon and vampire Bella. We have been waiting all these years to see Bella as a vamp. I think Kristen is gonna kill it!
April: Don’t make me choose! I guess the honeymoon. It’ll be nice to see Mr. and Mrs. Cullen so happy.
Ashley: Honeymoon would be my first, but seeing Kristen as a crazy, protective, “tiger mom” ranks pretty high too.

TFL: How many times have you read the books? How many times have you seen the previous movies?
Jess: I’ve read the books a few times each. Watched Twilight way too many times to count, New Moon maybe four times, Eclipse (with commentary) endless amounts.
April: I can’t even count how many times I’ve read the books, but it’s been awhile. I’ve watched Twilight enough that I’m on my second DVD
Ashley: I read them several times each when I first discovered them, but it’s been a really long time now. I can’t count how many times I’ve seen Twilight. New Moon probably a good amount. Eclipse maybe handful of times, I listen to the commentary on my iPod instead.

TFL: How many times do you plan on seeing Breaking Dawn Part 1?
Jess: I usually average three visits per film.
April: I’m with Jess. Probably three times
Ashley: Three or four times, depending on who wants to see it.

TFL: What will you do after you’ve seen it that many times?
Jess: Hopefully find new things I like about it each time. Compare favorite moments. Gush like a 13-year-old girl. You know, the usual.
April: Gab with my gal pals about our favorite parts, the parts that make us awww and the parts that make us laugh inappropriately.
Ashley: Discuss everything in so much detail you would think we were solving world peace.

TFL: What will you do after the final movie is out?
Jess: It will be bittersweet to see it all end, but I will continue to support Kristen and her career and look forward to seeing what the future holds for her.
April: +1 on Jess’ answer. Can’t wait to see what the future holds in store, professionally speaking, for Kristen as well as Rob.
Ashley: In agreement with my counterparts, can’t wait to see what’s next for them.

TFL: Have you ever felt this way about any other book/movie/person/thing?
Jess: I have never been this drawn into a book series. I was pretty obsessed with Sex and the City and those characters. And I adore Brad and Angie as far as celebrities go. But I have never felt so passionate to put in the time and work I do “for” Kristen.
April: I’ve always been a huge Buffy fan, so that was my first pop-culture obsession.
Ashley: I was pretty obsessed with Hanson when I younger. Harry Potter was a big part of my life as well, but this takes the cake easily.

Exclusive: Robert Pattinson Teaming Up With Twilight Producer On “A Couple Of Things”

We’ve been obsessed with finding out more about Robert Pattinson‘s screenwriting ambitions, which he vaguely alluded to in an interview with Vanity Fair earlier this year. On last night’s Breaking Dawn black carpet, we made it our personal mission to find out more, and producer Wyck Godfrey spilled the beans. He told us that he is currently working “on a couple things” with Rob at the moment. “He has great creative instincts,” said Wyck. Awww! When we asked if they were developing one of Rob’s screenplays together, he replied, “It’s a book that he’s interested in.”

Aha! Rob told Vanity Fair that there was a Lillian Hellman story he was playing around with adapting. Could this be it? “I’m not telling you!” Wyck laughed as he dashed away. Hmmm, that sounds like a bit of a giveaway to us! We then asked Rob about his writing. “Yeah,” he said, “I’m doing a bit of that. I’m doing a bit of everything.”

Sounds like Wyck and Rob have some interesting things in the works. Fans, would like to see Rob’s written work come to life on the big screen? We sure would! And with Kristen Stewart looking to line up her next project, maybe there’s an opportunity for her to work with her boyfriend again. Hey, we can dream!

Kristen Stewart Confirms She’s Learning To Play The Trumpet!

When we caught wind of Robert Pattinson boasting about Kristen Stewart‘s secret trumpet playing skills in an interview, we were baffled. Was Rob just joking around, as he’s known to do? Or was he being serious in reporting that his girlfriend knows how to toot her own (literal) horn? Well, we took to Twitter before the Breaking Dawn black-carpet premiere, and you guys encouraged us to ask Kristen about the mysterious horn rumor going round the Web and so — duh, duh, duh — we did! And guess what: Kristen is indeed learning how to play the trumpet!

The actress, decked out in J. Mendel, said that she was inspired to learn the instrument after filming On the Road and hasn’t put it down since. “I love it,” she told us. “And I just wanted to start playing … I picked it up quickly.” Kristen paused, before adding, “Rob can’t do it.” Ah, how we love the way this couple teases each other in interviews! Breaking Dawn Premiere Draws The Strangest Celebs

Do you remember back in the early days of Twilight, when people who weren’t teenage girls (or those early-adopter Twi-moms) kind of only sheepishly admitted to being Twi-hards? Ancient history. The proof is in the guest list of last night’s black-carpet premiere of Breaking Dawn Part 1. In addition to all the cast of the films, we expected to see a who’s who of young Hollywood, so folks like Ashley Tisdale and Ashley Benson were no surprise. But Ron Artest? That was such a surprise that none of the photographers seem to have snapped him. Other interesting guests included Heather Locklear, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Danica Patrick and Rob Lowe. Even electronic dance musician Kaskade made an appearance. So, were they there for a photo op, or really excited to see Edward and Bella’s wedding? Breaking Dawn Superfan Week: Is She Twilightish Or Twilight-est?

It’s Day 2 of our Breaking Dawn Superfan Week, and we’re imagining many of those we’re saluting are still sleeping off the excitement of last night’s big premiere, whether they were on the black carpet themselves, or at home diligently posting and tweeting about every minute of the event. But we’ll soldier on. This morning, we give a tip of the hat to Elena, whose Twilightish.com team brings professional level of dedication to their fandom. While we don’t know how she manages to do this while raising FIVE children, she did tell us why here.

TheFABlife: When did you first fall in love with Twilight?
Elena: It was impossible not to notice the billboards and bus-stop ads with the hot vampire on them. So when I saw the book at Costco for $8, I decided I needed to see what all the hype was about. I finished Twilight in less than 24 hours and went out the next day to grab the rest of the series.

TFL: What’s the moment you can’t wait to see in Breaking Dawn (1 or 2)?
Elena: What kind of fan would I be if I didn’t say the honeymoon?!?! Who doesn’t want to see some headboard smashing and pillow biting? I’m also looking forward to seeing the song placement for the music. I’ve been a HUGE fan of all the soundtracks and so far, Breaking Dawn Part 1‘s soundtrack is my favorite. I can’t wait to see which song will be in what scene.

TFL: How many times have you read the books? How many times have you seen the previous movie?
Elena: I’ve read the series at least five times, and I’ve seen the movies even more. Especially now that the films are on cable all the time, I find myself getting unintentionally sucked in whenever I see them playing. I’ve probably watched Eclipse the most.

TFL: How many times do you plan on seeing Breaking Dawn Part 1?

Elena: As many times as I possibly can. I’ve been waiting nearly 18 months for this film to come out and will have to wait another 12 for the next one, so I want to see it as many times as I can pull off. Breaking Dawn was one of my fave books in the series. I’m a sucker for a happy ending.

TFL: What will you do after you’ve seen it that many times?
Elena: I’ll probably reread the book. It’s been awhile since I’ve read Breaking Dawn, and I’ll be curious to see what scenes in the book didn’t make it on screen. I have faith in Bill Condon though. I’m confident he did the books justice with his films.

TFL: What will you do after the final movie is out?
Elena: Cry. A lot. You know, as a blogger/fan, I feel like I’ve watched these characters go from paper to the big screen and when the last movie comes out and the story is essentially over, it will be hard to let go of those characters I’ve been living with for so long.
