Fans of Robert Pattinson‘s singing voice (which, we’re guessing, includes all Robert Pattinson fans) will be thrilled to learn that the actor is lending his voice to The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn‘s soundtrack. Pattinson previously sang two songs on the original Twilight soundtrack and has discussed his passion for music in the past, including RPattz’s time as a rapper named Big Tub.
On this latest soundtrack, Pattinson will be singing “Renesmee’s Lullaby,” a song for which there are already several fan-made internet variations, because it was “composed” by Edward Cullen in the Breaking Dawn book. The film version of the lullaby was written by Twilight composer Carter Burwell, who Tweeted that Pattinson will film the singing scene for Breaking Dawn, Part 2 this week. Burwell also writes that he is impressed by Pattinson’s musical abilities, saying “Many films have an actor sitting at a keyboard, swaying back and forth, pretending to play music that was only written after the film has been shot and edited. This case was unusual in that Rob is a fine musician, and fully capable of playing the piano or probably any other instrument.” Alas, we’ll still have to wait till 2012 to see the performance.

Since we have yet to see (and gush over) an actual Breaking Dawn production still of an undead Bella Cullen (we’re still getting used to her married name!), the ants in our pants took to Photoshop to render what we think both the newborn and “vegetarian” Bella will look like. Kristen Stewart (photos) looks pretty gorgeous in both stages, right?
What do our Twi-pals think? Are we close?

Take a closer look at our Bella below, as well as 10 of our faves from the webosphere.
Earlier this afternoon, many a Twi-Hard’s pulse began racing when a site called Geek Tyrant (they don’t deserve a link, trust us) claimed to have gotten their hands on the first photo of child actress Mackenzie Foy playing Renesmee on the set of Breaking Dawn. Shortly thereafter, normally reputable sites like /Film and Vulture passed along the news as fact without bothering to do any actual reporting of their own.
Instead of following suit, we here at TheFABLife reached out to all of our Twilight friends in the Twitter community and quickly determined that the pictures were not, in fact, stills from the highly anticipated Breaking Dawn (Ed. Note: Only 300 more days!). Rather, the pictures of actress Mackenzie Foy are from the Fall 2010 Garnet Hill children’s wear catalog. Don’t worry, Twi-Hards, you can always count on TheFABLife to keep it real with our coverage of any and all things Twilight; there’s no fooling us! That said, when any stills or footage of the rapidly aging half-vamp offspring DO emerge, you can bet we’ll have them up for you lickity split.

Reality is setting in. Part I of Breaking Dawn is really hitting a theater near you in less than 11 months (300 days, 11 hours and 45 minutes to be precise). Pardon us while we calm our pitter-pattering hearts. [Image: Summit Entertainment]
We pretty much had an aneurysm when we saw the first sex scene still from Breaking Dawn. Oh the anticipation! The pillow biting! The headboard breaking! You know what we’re talking about, right? We can’t wait to see the honeymoon action on Isle Esme. But apparently the only person not feeling our joy about our favorite couple getting it on onscreen, is Robert Pattinson who’s revealed those scenes are not easy to shoot. But, but, but… they’re with Kristen Stewart, Rob? You’re not-so-undercover lovahs anyway?
RPattz was cornered at the Golden Globes for some dish about what to expect other than the softly lit, tender lovin’ we got a glimpse of. “I think I’m sniffing” is what he had to say about himself in the still, with his characteristic down-playing (only increases our love for you Rob, FYI). Â “I love how they release that for the first one. Just give it all away, you know?” he added, laughing.
About the scene itself (and other intimate scenes in films like Bel Ami and Remember Me) Rob reckons that all the choreographed sexin’ makes it a whole lot of awkward rather than hot. He revealed, “It’s always awkward in a way if you’re doing it with anybody. It really depends on how it’s staged and stuff. It’s like doing Twister.” Right… but this time it’s Twister with KStew. Makes all the difference, doesn’t it?
In case you were wondering how they were going to shoot Bella and Edward’s rapidly aging off-spring, news comes today that Avatar special effects guru Joe Bruno will use CGI to age Breaking Dawn’s Renesmee. According to Mackenzie Foy’s official website, Bruno was “recruited to work on the aging process in Breaking Dawn to rapidly age Renesmee’s, Mackenzie’s character’s, growth.” Yeah, but who are they going to hire to make Taylor Lautner’s Jacob imprinting on her seem less creepy?
Set to be released on November 18, 2011, filming of Breaking Dawn is well underway. After shooting for a month in Baton Rouge, Kristen and Rob are packing up for the move to Canada, where the Swan House is currently being constructed in Vancouver. Once they have the footage, the visual effects supervisor of Steven Spielberg’s big blue masterpiece will have to figure out how depict Nessie’s transformation from infant to kindergartener in a matter of months, knowing that the character is full grown by the age of 7. Probably makes alien humanoids seem like a snap in comparison, right?
Forget Prince William and Kate Middleton, the most anticipated wedding this year belongs to Edward and Bella. That’s because it means the Twilight couple will finally get to consummate their relationship with lusty, pillow-biting sex. And Entertainment Weekly has the first still image from their time on Isle Esme. So tender. So well-lit. So vampire-impregnating. It’s everything we hoped for. Director Bill Condon told EW “It’s one of the most anticipated scenes. I spent a tremendous amount of time thinking about it. The anticipation is part of it and you want to play with what people expect and maybe subvert it a little and surprise them.” No doubt there’s anticipation, but as for surprise…maybe the surprise will be just what movies are in Edward’s glorious and extensive DVD collection.
…And it doesn’t sounds like something most Twi-hards will really be into. Robert Pattinson has accepted the lead in Cosmopolis, a David Cronenberg film that also co-stars Marion Cotillard and Paul Giamatti. Pattinson will play Eric Packer, a financial whiz who’s the target of an assassination plot. Like Twilight, the film is based on a book, written by Don DeLillo, but that’s where the similarities end. Deadline.com describes the plot as “a drama that is a study of capitalism in a slightly futuristic metropolis. Most of the scenes in the book take place in the limousine that transports Packer from place to place.” And how we love a good limo-based movie. My Chauffeur, anyone?
What say you, Twilight fans, will you see the film regardless of the subject? Or do you just wish Robsten would keep making romantic supernatural movies forever? We do love how both Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have stuck to their indie/non-blockbusters ways when they branch away from The Twilight Saga, so we admire this latest choice.

My my, what a year it’s been for our favorite on and offscreen lovebirds! Since the first film of the Twilight series, rumors of budding romance between Robert Pattinson (photos) and Kristen Stewart (photos) have fluttered the hearts of TwiHards, but not until 2010 did we get confirmation of their IRL love affair. In the last year, we’ve had a blast taking part in the virtual collective meltdowns on Twitter over each hand hold, booty scan, and behind-the-scenes kiss. We couldn’t think of a better holiday gift to our fellow Robsten aficionados than to wrap up the year in the ever-more-public romance between the handsome Brit behind Edward Cullen and the anti-Hollywood starlet behind Bella Swan. Enjoy! [Photos: Getty Images, Splash News Online]
February 21st: Rob and Kristen escape the BAFTAs after party together, get caught in their getaway vehicle. Earlier in the night, Pattinson reportedly admitting they’re dating by telling The Sun that it was meant to be their first public appearance, but the crazed fans made it impossible. (PHOTOS)
March 1st: Kristen supports her funny face-makin’ “friend” Rob at the New York premiere of his film Remember Me. The two walked the red carpet separately, but supposedly left the screening as a pair. (PHOTOS)
March 21st: KStew arrives to LAX wearing Rob’s raggedy white tee. (PHOTOS)
April 11th: The flannel-lovin’ pair was spotted leaving Budapest’s local airport together, presumably en route to a top secret vacay for Kristen’s 20th birthday. (PHOTOS)
Joe Jonas and Ashley Greene kept each other warm last night in New York City. The couple, who stopped in for dinner at The Lion, still looks like they’re making it work—who’d have known, right? Unfortunately for the pair, it sounds like Ashley is only in New York for a brief time—she’s been shooting Breaking Dawn in Louisiana this month and will likely return to continue filming her scenes as Alice Cullen, the resident friendly psychic sister. Hopefully she and Joe got some good pillow-biting time in while they were together. You know how vampires get.
