The Cutest Cast Moments At The Breaking Dawn Comic-Con Conference

Twilight Breaking Dawn Conference At Comic-Con

If you haven’t been checking out the VH1 Twitter account, you should really take a look now. Our very own and very fabulous Kate Spencer and Sabrina Rojas Weiss are actually at Comic-Con and tweeting live updates and behind-the-scenes looks, which is totally awesome. And yesterday was all about — you, guesses it — Breaking Dawn, Part 2. We just posted a selection of the 10 best quotes from yesterday’s conference, which hilariously, had Kristen Stewart telling Robert Pattinson to jokingly, “Shut the f— up!” But apart from hearing what they said, we knew you would want a peek at the entire cast as well, and see how they interacted through the panel. As expected, they were amazing. The very dishy new dad Jackson Rathbone was there, not showing a hint of sleep deprivation. Ashley Greene was as lovely as ever in head-to-toe Michael Kors, while Kristen rocked it in a Fluxus tee, a BCBGMAXAZRIA skirt and Barbara Bui sneakers. The men — Peter Facinelli, Kellan Lutz, Robert and Taylor Lautner — looked smokin’. Nikki Reed and Elizabeth Reaser looked smart-smarts and smart-casual, respectively. And little Mackenize Foy stole the show with that smile of hers. Now we’re going to stop talking and let you have at the gallery so you can see it all for yourself.

Twilight Fan Struck Dead By Car While On Her Way To Comic-Con Line

Twilight fans, including Gisela G. who was killed on Tuesday on her way to Comic-Con

Tragedy in the Twi-hard world today. Just as Kate Spencer and I are getting all worked up about which San Diego Comic-Con panels we’re going to attend this week and how we’ll manage to meet all our favorite vampires and zombies, we heard the horrible news of a 53-year-old fan known as Gisela G., who died this morning. She had been camping out for the Breaking Dawn – Part 2 panel, which takes place on Thursday afternoon, and after leaving her spot was crossing the street to get back in line when she was struck by a car. According to the San Diego Union-Times, she was in a crosswalk on Harbor St. but crossing against the light when she was hit at 9:20 a.m. PT. She reportedly tried to avoid the oncoming Subaru but tripped into it.

Twilight Examiner’s Amanda Bell has an excellent account of the tweets that flew around the Twilight community immediately after the accident. “From the moment she was hit to when the ambulance arrived and took her, she was completely unconscious,” Twilight Poison blogger Vale told Bell.

Comic-Con organizers had asked fans not to line up for the Twilight panel until setup for the event was complete today, but that did little to stop the Twi-hards. The above photo depicts Gisela G., who tweeted under the handle @mad4hugh, in a green shirt, camping with others. “#sdcc‬ ‪#glamping‬ the first campers waiting for ‪#twilight‬,” @morrowchris tweeted with the pic on Monday afternoon.

Fans are starting a petition to have a moment of silence at Thursday’s panel, while others are memorializing her on Twitter with the hashtag #RIPTwiFanG.

New, Amazing Breaking Dawn Stills Out: More On Renesmee, Family Cullen And The Covens

New "Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2" Still Released

Christmas has come early this year, and we’re obviously on the good list. Not only did we get a brand new teaser trailer for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2, last week, but now, we’ve also some fantastic stills to gawk at. Of course, these happen to be the same ones that Entertainment Weekly got the exclusive on a week earlier, but now that we have our own, we can walk you through them in the gallery below. We’re already in love with the photograph you see above, of the family Cullen (Kristen Stewart, Mackenzie Foy and Robert Pattinson) and Jacob (Taylor Lautner). Little Renesmee features quite a bit in these new photographs. There’s also a lovely one of her sharing a lighthearted moment with Jacob, and one incredibly intense one with her mother, Bella. Kristen makes for a really hot vampire, FYI. More importantly, we get our first real look at the covens. There’s one with Renesmee talking to Senna (Tracey Heggins) and Zafrina (Judith Shekoni) of the Amazon tribes, as well as one of Kate (Casey Labow) and Tanya (Myanna Buring) of the Denali coven. There’s even one of Eleazar (Christian Camargo) and Carmen (Mia Maestro.) You won’t stop giggling when you see the still of the famous arm wrestling scene between Emmett (Kellan Lutz) and Bella, as well. Rounding up the lot is a pretty menacing one of the Volturi with Jane (Dakota Fanning) and Alec (Cameron Bright) as they arrive in Forks. Now, enough talking, and more looking. To the gallery!

Robert Pattinson Gets Snubbed As Hottest Vampire Ever By Abraham Lincoln Cast

Still reeling from the reveal of Rob’s golfing hobby and the squee-tastic new trailer for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2, it’s all about vampires today at VH1. Well, let’s be real. Every day is a vampire-obsessed day … so naturally when VH1 News hit the red carpet of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, we just had to know: Who does the cast think is the hottest vampire ever to grace the silver screen?

While we admittedly were fishing for answers involving a name that rhymes with Smattinson, we were shocked and awed that not a single red-carpet attendee fell into our trap. Dominic Cooper and Jimmi Simpson rep’d their generation with Kiefer Sutherland in The Lost Boys, while director Timur Bekmambetov, writer Seth Grahame-Smith, Robin McLeavy and Abe himself Benjamin Walker went with OG vampires like Nosferatu. Erin Wasson and Mary Elizabeth Winstead left us less confused with Brad Pitt in Interview With a Vampire. Watch the interviews below and let us know in our poll who really is the hottest vampire of all-time.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 Full Second Trailer Is Here … Prepare For Battle!

Oh, Jeebus! Even though we thought that the 10 second clip of the Breaking Dawn, Part 2 trailer yesterday was the shiznit, the preview doesn’t hold a candle to the full video. What we mainly saw yesterday was a family scene involving Rosalie, Edward and Bella with Renesmee. We also saw Robert Pattinson, as Edward voices his concerns about the brewing conflict, saying, “The Volturi think that Renesmee’s an immortal child.”  Kristen Stewart as the awesome vampire Bella gets worked up, answering, “She was born not bitten! She grows every single day.”  We see Alice dropping a glass vase as she has a vision of the Volturi coming for them, gliding over snow, till Aro flips back his dark hood, and we realize it’s ON.

The full extended trailer has these bits, but SO much more. It opens with the voice-over we’ve heard before, in the first Breaking Dawn, Part 2 trailer, where Bella says, “After 18 years of being utterly ordinary, I finally found that I could shine.” There are also shots we’ve seen before of the ring, Edward saying, “So beautiful … We’re the same temperature now”, and Taylor Lautner as Jacob saying, “I didn’t expect you to seem so … you.” But earlier, where we saw Bella running through the woods, she’s now leaping spectacularly saying, “I was born to be a vampire.” She’s looking gorgeous and confident, walking towards Jacob as he calls her normal.

More important, we see the machinations of the plot coming together with Maggie Grace as Irina, going up to Aro and snitching, “I have to report a crime. The Cullens, they’ve done something terrible,” with a deadly-looking Aro responding, “Oh, my.” Edward starts putting the plan together, thinking, “If enough people knew the truth maybe we could convince the Volturi would listen.” He goes to the covens saying, “My family is in danger, I need your help,” and they respond, pledging allegiance to the Cullens. There are lots of cool shots interspersed between all the dialogue and it all ends with panoramic pre-battle scenes and a truly spectacular water scene that we can’t spoil for you. It’s beyond epic. This movie needs to come out now. We can’t take it any longer!

Brand New Breaking Dawn 2 Preview Released! More Renesmee And Volturi Talk!

We’re trying desperately not to sound too disjointed here, but we’ve been running around the room squeeing so bear with us. The last The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2 trailer we saw was back in March, where we got a glimpse of vampire Bella. Then we got some ho-hum stills of Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner in character, which got us excited because, well, it’s Twilight. There will always be excitement even if the material isn’t groundbreaking. What really got us revved up was the EW cover featuring the family Vamp – Bella, Edward and our first real look at Renesmee.

Now, there’s a second teaser trailer out tomorrow, because it’s Edward’s 111th birthday. Summit kinda knew we couldn’t wait to see it, so what they’ve done is released a 10 second preview today, which is what you’re watching in the video above. And they’ve packed enough in this snippet to get us totally juiced! It starts with Bella and Edward tenderly holding Renesmee and handing her over to Rosalie. Edward then voices, “The Volturi think that Renesmee’s an immortal child.” Vampire Bella responds with, “She was born not bitten! She grows every single day.” Cut to a dramatic shot of Alice dropping a glass vase and gasping, “The Volturi! They’re coming for us.” The clip ends with the Volturi stalking towards Bella and Edward against a snowy backdrop, Aro menacingly flipping back his dark hood. Ai yi yi! We’re in quite a state. You will be too, once you watch it. We can’t wait to see the full trailer tomorrow.

Robert Pattinson Calls Breaking Dawn 2 “Funny,” Probably Shouldn’t Be In Charge Of Marketing Movies

Robert Pattinson

We all know Robert Pattinson is self-deprecating to a fault, and we love him for it. But we do kind of wonder if the marketing departments behind his movies inwardly cringe every time he sums up one of his movies. Granted, everything he says makes us want to see his movies all the more, but mostly because we don’t believe his own opinion of himself. Case in point, his interview in today’s Metro U.K., in which he sums up a number of his projects in uniquely RPattz ways — and complains again about being called RPattz:

  • On Cosmopolis: “This is one of the first movies that I’m in where I can watch it and not just want to kill myself.”

Teen Choice Awards Double Down On Their Vampire, Channing Tatum Nominations

Joseph Morgan, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Channing Tatum nominated for Teen Choice Awards

You know what’s great about informal awards shows like the Teen Choice Awards? They have complete freedom to make up categories as they go along, thus ensuring that the hottest, most fan-favoritest stars of the moment will show up and take home some hardware. And no one will complain, ever. Especially as we look at the “second round” of nominees for the TCAs, which take place July 22. You can go here to see the complete list. But we’ll give you the highlights you care about most:

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1 now has 11 nods, including the Choice Movie: Romance, Actor and Actress: Romance (Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, who already have nods for Sci Fi/Fantasy), Liplock, and Scene Stealer: Male (Kellan Lutz) and Female (Nikki Reed).

The Vampire Diaries‘ count is up to eight, with Villain (Joseph Morgan), and Male and Female Scene Stealers (Candice Accola and Michael Trevino).

And, in keeping with the zeitgeist of the year, the TCAs are shaping up to be one long celebration of Channing Tatum. He’s got six nominations to his name. In addition to his previously announced nods for Movie Actor: Drama (for The Vow) and Movie Actor: Comedy (for 21 Jump Street), he’s also now nominated for Movie Actor: Romance (The Vow again), Liplock (The Vow, with Rachel McAdams), Chemistry and Hissy Fit (for 21 Jump Street, with Jonah Hill).

The biggest question now: Will a third round of nominations include a category for Best Male Stripper Movie? Oh, wait. Is that weird when we’re talking about “Teen” choice? Sorry.

Breaking Dawn’s Renesmee Makes Her Big Debut Via Entertainment Weekly

Kristen Stewart, Mackenzie Foy and Robert Pattinson

We kind of feel like the Volturi right now, we’ve been staring so intently at this photo (which, btw you can only see in full if you like on Facebook, so go do that now and then come back and talk to us again). After complaining that the first images and then the character posters of Edward, Bella and Jacob were kind of just more of the same thing we’ve seen for years from the Twilight gang, it is such a big deal to get this tiny glimpse of Mackenzie Foy as Renesmee. And even though we can see only half of her face, peeking out from behind her awesome vampire mama, we’re pretty confident she looks exactly like Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart’s hypothetical offspring. Another thing we love about this photo is how much Kristen looks like a superheroine glaring at us from the cover of a YA novel — her stance, the leather jacket, those hot leggings and lace-up boots, that perfectly tousled hair all say, “I am not the fragile, human Bella you may remember, so don’t touch my baby!”

UPDATE: And here is a much better look at the family:

Breaking Dawn Part 2 Posters Revealed, In Case You Needed More Robsten Today

Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson in Breaking Dawn Part 2

We interrupt today’s regularly scheduled Robert Pattinson/Kristen Stewart canoodling enjoyment and On the Road/Cosmopolis Cannes promotion to bring you this special bulletin: Twilight still exists. Just in case you forgot. Summit Entertainment was possibly worried about that, again, and picked today, as soon as we’d awoken from those comas caused by said canoodling footage, to reveal three new character posters for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2, via a fansite scavenger hunt.

Taylor Lautner in Breaking Dawn Part 2
They are pretty. We love the dark mood, and the way Edward, Bella and Jacob all look poised for battle with their uber-intense glares. But, like those first image released last month, this is just a huge tease that’s not showing us anything new. Remind us of this complaint when we start to whine later this year that we’re getting too many Breaking Dawn photos. Just kidding. We’d never complain about such a thing. Just keep ‘em coming, Summit.

Oh, and if you want to download your own high-res versions of these posters, head here.
