Sources are saying — not admitting that the sex tape exists, of course — that if there is a video, it could have been taken when Usher had his car broken into in 2009. It was pretty ridiculous because he reportedly had over $ 1 million worth of booty stolen including electronics (a laptop, natch), jewelry and furs. We still don’t know why he was carrying so much stuff in his car, but that’s rotten luck. FYI: he’s had pretty bad car luck all around because while he was splitting with Tameka, he had to make a call to 911 because she supposedly keyed his ride! Question now is, will there be any takers for this sex tape, and it it really them? We’ll just have to wait and see.
Like Whitney Houston, Elton John and approximately one billion other artists before him, Usher canceled tour dates in Europe due to a “upper respiratory illness.” His rep explains, “After consultation with doctors, he has been advised to reschedule the upcoming dates in order to get the rest he needs to ensure a complete recovery.” Usher hit Twitter to apologize, saying “I deeply regret having to reschedule the shows. I am truly sorry for any inconvenience I have caused my fans. My fans are the best in the world and I am looking forward to getting better so that I can give them the show they deserve.”
Even if you aren’t an Usher fan (and really, why aren’t you?) the video of the singer breaking down in Germany is absolutely heart-wrenching. The Thursday concert at Berlin’s 02 Arena was actually rescheduled from Wednesday due to his illness. Unfortunately, despite pushing his performance back a day NAACP Image Award nominee Usher was unable to sing, wobbling on his feet before apologizing and walking off stage. The audience doesn’t know if they should boo him or cheer him on, so of course, they do both. This isn’t the first time the “OMG” singer had a terrible concert experience; it was just the first where Usher didn’t have at least get an apologetic female fan sitting on his lap.
Were there any surprises with the winners at the 2010 American Music Awards? Nope. Justin Bieber made a killing sweeping favorite breakthrough artist, favorite artist of the year and favorite pop/rock artist. Taylor Swift won favorite female country artist. Cue Taylor’s surprise-face now, please. Rihanna got favorite soul/RnB artist, while The Black Eyed Peas got favorite pop/rock group. In other words… Duh.
But AMA fashion didn’t disappoint, and nor did the stage performances. Rihanna started off demure but went totally raunchy with a medley of What’s My Name and Only Girl in the World. Christina Aguilera dominated the stage in a black basque, black fishnet tights and high heeled black lace up boots channeling her new movie Burlesque. Katy Perry lit up the stage singing Firework and a pregnant Pink shook it to Raise your Glass. That’s just a small fraction because there was so much more. Miley Cyrus, Ke$ha, Usher, The Biebs, Taylor and (Squee!) our hearts are still palpitating from watching New Kids On The Block and the Backstreet Boys on stage together.

Following Usher‘s divorce, it appears the ladies are fighting over the R & B singer to see who can snag him while he’s single. After a performance at Haze on the Las Vegas strip, Usher decided to take a little rest on a banquette. As soon as he sat down, he was reportedly swarmed by females. “His table was literally overflowing with women,” a source says. Reportedly Usher had to even call in reinforcements to protect him from the wallet-f*&king honies! “They had to bring over additional security guards to manage the crowds,” the source continues.
The “Love in This Club” singer became single again last year after splitting with wife Tameka Foster after less than two years of marriage. He penned a song called “Papers” about the messy divorce from the mother of his two children, portraying himself as a victim in a one-sided relationship. It looks like Usher has plenty of ladies looking to help him get over his heartbreak! [Source: NY Post; Photo: Getty Images]
