Kristen Stewart Gives A Squee-Filled Review Of Robert Pattinson’s Performance In Cosmopolis

Kristen Stewart reviews her boyfriend Robert Pattinson's performance in 'Cosmopolis'

It looks like Cosmopolis has earned the Kristen Stewart seal of approval. The actress got a chance to weigh in on boyfriend Robert Pattinson’s latest film yesterday at MTV News’ Sneak Peek Week Q&A for her own upcoming movie, Snow White and the Huntsman. KStew caught the film while attending the Cannes film festival, and needless to say she’s pretty stoked about her Twilight love’s work.”He’s so good in it!” she squeed. “He’s really, really [good]. I don’t even know how he [did it]. I couldn’t even understand it. It’s so good, it’s so cool, I’m so proud of him.” Her gushing enthusiasm is more than enough to melt any Twi-hard’s heart, and sent the crowd into a giant “awww” that could probably be heard in the next county.

But the interview wasn’t all about the RPattz. Kristen was on a mission to bring her Snow White and the Huntsman gospel to the people, and she and co-star Sam Claflin definitely delivered the goods with this brand-new clip. Hopefully it’ll tide you over until Friday…

Exclusive: Kristen Stewart On Making A “Feminine” Action Movie

Snow White and the Huntsman is unique in that it’s an action movie with two women at the helm – the always fierce Charlize Theron and Kristen Stewart. The guys in the movie, Chris Hemsworth and Sam Claflin, play important but supporting roles. We chatted with Kristen about the “girl powerness” of it all, and asked her if that influenced her decision to sign on as Snow White. “I am really excited about that,” she tells us. “It’s so on trend right now to have that girl power thing. It’s great when it’s done in a way that’s actually feminine.”

“I read so many scripts now,” she added, “where it seems like they’ve literally taken a male character and renamed it with a girl.” As for Snow White, Stewart was drawn to her “very steady, very set staying power.” Considering the positive buzz Kristen garnered in Cannes last week for her work in On The Road, we think the same could be said about her!

Nicole Scherzinger Auditioned “Fair And Square” For Her Men In Black III Spot

Nicole Scherzinger in Men in Black III

“Don’t be late for the movie, because then you’ll miss me!” Nicole Scherzinger told VH1 News of her part in Men in Black III. That’s not to say she wasn’t thrilled for her first movie role to be in none other than a major blockbuster franchise, especially since she doesn’t feel like she was just a stunt casting. “I auditioned for the role fair and square.”

This isn’t the former Pussycat Doll’s first foray into acting, mind you. “I actually grew up doing theater and my major in college was thea-TRE,” she said, with dramatic flare. “But I have a whole new respect, because I’m used to being onstage — doing film is a lot different.”

Nicole, if these faces you made for us are any indication, you should be onscreen a whole lot more:

Kristen Stewart On Beauty: “When People Are Truly Beautiful, It’s All Encompassing”

Beauty is a recurring theme through out Snow White and the Huntsman — both with the Queen’s obsession with her youthful looks and Snow White’s benevolent heart. Not to mention, the cast is really easy on the eyes. (I like my Hemsworth with a side of Hemsworth and a little bit of Hemsworth on top … you know what I mean?) I asked Kristen Stewart about her thoughts on what makes people truly beautiful, and she offered up a thoughtful answer about how genuine beauty shines through one’s physical attributes, regardless of what they are. “I meet people all the time that I think are so gorgeous,” she says. “And then it’s like ‘Oh my God, you’re wearing a costume.’ ”

My personal favorite part of the interview is the adorable hand over heart gesture she does at the end. What would a Kristen Stewart interview be without her busting out a goofy/sincere/precious move like that? Awwww.

On Britney Spears’ First Day On X Factor, We Have Advice From Ex-Judge Nicole Scherzinger

Britney Spears arrives to her first day as an 'X Factor' judge

And so it begins. Britney Spears showed up to her first day of work as an X Factor judge today, armed with a hot pink mini dress and bizarre fiance/conservator combo Jason Trawick. Despite rumors of nerves, she looked confident and composed as she made her way to the first round of auditions in Austin this afternoon. In fact, we think she looks great! Looks like fellow reality judge Howard Stern isn’t going to get the train-wreck he was hoping for.

Maybe Brit got a call from former X Factor judge (and Pussycat Doll) Nicole Scherzinger! Our very own Janell Snowdon recently caught up with the lovely Nicole, and the singer offered some soothing words on how Britney and Demi Lovato can make the most of their time on the show. “Speak from your heart,” she says. “Just be you. That’s what Simon always told me, ‘Just be you.’” Check out the full interview in the video above, and more photos from Britney’s first day in the gallery below!

Glee’s Season 3 Finale: Celebrate Graduation With A Fashion Flashback!

Heather Morris, Jenna Ushkowitz, Dianna Agron and Lea Michele on Glee

As much as Glee is about singing and tolerance and bullying and domestic violence and young love, it also is about fashion. I mean, in last week’s episode, even Principal Figgins noted the evolution of Tina Cohen-Chang’s wardrobe. And nothing pointed out the characters’ individual fashion sense as much as the character swapping they did in “Props.” That’s why, as we brace ourselves for tonight’s graduation episode, and the summer hiatus to follow, we thought we’d look back at some of our favorite outfits from the season.

In looking through the Fox-provided stills from season three, we noticed a few interesting things: 1) There’s not much of Emma Pillsbury (Jayma Mays) — her character took a backseat for most of the season, so we’ve been deprived of her adorable, early-’60s-inspired dresses. 2) Rachel Berry’s wardrobe has hardly changed through the seasons, though there were a few standout dresses that might show signs she’ll eventually stop dressing like a 12-year-old. 3) We want all of Sugar’s and Quinn’s sweaters. And 4) Figgins was right, Tina has made an amazing fashion transformation, for the better.

Last week, we asked Jenna Ushkowitz what she thinks Tina’s next fashion identity might be. Here’s what she said:

Exclusive: Kristen Stewart “Doesn’t Play By Anyone’s Rules” Says Snow White Director

Just what makes Kristen Stewart the perfect Snow White? Director Rupert Sanders‘ answers may surprise you. Though the fairytale is all about beauty (and his leading lady is admittedly very stunning) he was moved by what he found inside the actress. “She’s very vital,” he told me at the film’s press junket in the UK last week. “She’s very on the edge and very rebellious, which I like. She doesn’t play by anyone’s rules. She’s just got all those things that make a very modern and intoxicating Show White.”

Rupert said he didn’t want this film to be about “damsel in distress waiting for her prince,”  but rather a “leader” who inspires her people to follow her into battle for the greater good. He found his heroine in Kristen. “When I first met her with the producers,” said Rupert, “we all saw something really raw and primal in this girl, and we really liked that.”

So do we!

Exclusive: Charlize Theron Wants To Reprise Her Role As Rita Leeds In Arrested Development Movie

Here’s something cool I’ve learned about Charlize Theron: She’s really funny. She was hilarious through out our interview at the Snow White and the Huntsman junket in England last weekend, and she spent the entire press day cracking jokes and doing bits with everyone. I’ve always wondered why she doesn’t do more comedy, especially because her story arc as MRF Rita Leeds on Arrested Development (one of the greatest shows of all time, IMHO), is so.damn.funny. If you haven’t seen it please stop reading this blog post immediately, run to Netflix, and thank me when you’re done.

After years of will they or won’t they, it was recently confirmed that an Arrested Development movie is in the works, for reals, after a brief run on TV. And so of course I had to dork out and ask Charlize if she’d consider reprising her role as Rita on the big screen. Good news, AD fans! The actress calls her time on the show “one of my favorite experiences I’ve ever had” and says she’d love to be a part of the film. Also she describes herself as “a nerd,” which gave me a serious case of heart explosions. Clip above.

Exclusive: Kristen Stewart: Making Movies “Is An Addiction” For Me

The tough thing about interviews with talent is that you go in with a huge list of questions and never enough time. Such was the case during my sit-down with Kristen Stewart this past weekend at the Snow White and the Huntsman junket. By the time I got around to bringing up her new producer position on the upcoming film Cali, the nice dude keeping track of my allotted time was telling me to wrap. And I never got to ask her about wearing the vampire contacts in Twilight! Just kidding, guys. You know I’d never ask that.

But we did get a minute to discuss what it is about making movies — besides acting — that really moves her. One thing I personally admire about Ms. Stewart (and her better half, I might add) is that she’s a movie person, through and through. It’s her art form; she eats, breaths and sleeps film, and loves every aspect of the business. I was eager to hear more from her about why this is. The actress cites her parents for sparking her interest in the behind-the-scenes element (as I’m sure you know, mom Jules is a script supervisor/director, and dad John is a stage manager) and says that without movies, “I’d be a completely different person.” Hard to imagine!

She also adds, “There’s this really contagious energy that happens, that passes between people, that is really unique. And when you can find people that you can share that artistic energy with, it’s an addiction. You always want to get back to that feeling.” Kristen told our friends at Celebuzz that she wants to make more movies with Rob — we can only imagine the artistic energy and connection they share!

Which Glee Star Did The Best “Freaky Friday” Character Swap? Jenna Ushkowitz Weighs In

The second we saw Mark Salling and Cory Monteith dressed as Blaine and Kurt on last night’s Glee, some of us crossed our fingers that the whole two (!) hours would feature this silly stunt.

“It would have been a little bit of overkill [to swap characters for the whole episode],” Jenna Ushkowitz, whose character Tina set off the whole “Freaky Friday” sequence, told VH1 Celebrity this morning, when she stopped by for Big Morning Buzz Live. We were thrilled to see Tina get to show off her chops in full Rachel diva-mode, even if it was all just a dream, and hope that the actress gets more to do as a senior at McKinley next season.
