Generally, when we get a manicure, it’s at a local salon, costs less than $20, and will probably chip within, oh, one day after getting them done. But for celebrities who probably don’t have to do banal tasks like cleaning, opening bags of chips, or taking out the trash, getting a manicure is a much more decadent affair. From Zooey Deschanel‘s $300 nail art to Toni Braxton‘s $1 million diamond manicure, these women are not messing around when it comes to dressing their talons.
The ’90s were sort of weird. Everyone’s clothes were too big for them, and there was a lot of sincerity going around. It was also a time when some of today’s biggest stars weren’t such big stars yet, and randomly appeared on some of your favorite TV shows. Whether it was a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameo or the dominating story arc of an entire episode, everyone from a young Ryan Reynolds to Yoko Ono made a guest appearance on shows as disparate as The X-Files and Mad About You.
Summer time is the best time. You know this, y’all! As the temperatures rise so do the spirits. The season change became official just a few days ago, but celebs got the jump by taking four weeks worth of sunny vacations in exotic locales. But don’t worry, they made certain to shares lots of beachy and pool-side photos with us normals via Instagram and Twitter! How thoughtful.
It seems like another day and another news item involving Beyonce. This time it’s about her daughter’s hair. An online petition is offended by the natural state of Blue Ivy‘s locks and wants Beyonce to take a comb to them. There’s already 3,000 signatures and it shows no signs of stopping. When will the madness end?!
It turns out that Solange Knowles may have learned her fighting moves from Beyonce. Ahead of the release of his latest album, 50 Cent caused a stir by saying that the singer attacked him like Solange did to Jay Z in the elevator. “”One time (Beyonce) jumped off of a ledge and came running over ‘cause she thought me and Jay had issues,” the rapper said in a radio interview.
It’s a tale as old as Bonnie and Clyde: crime is better when committed in pairs. With Jay Z and Beyoncé about to launch their “On the Run” tour, and with their faux-film trailer starring the pair as gun toting criminals, we’ve had dangerous couples on the brain. Of course there’s a sexiness to pop culture’s most dangerous couples, but some of them are just best friends, or unlikely odd couples. From Ja Rule and Charli Baltimoe to Natural Born Killers Mickey and Mallory; from Pulp Fictions’ murderous Jules and Vince to the crazy yet somehow adorable Clarence and Alabama, we’ve compiled a list of pop culture’s most lethal couples.
Brody Jenner didn’t go to the Kimye wedding but Jaden Smith did; Rob Kardashian left in a huff before the ceremony and Kim might be to blame. Yes, even the wedding day of the #worldsmosttalkedaboutcouple did not come without some hiccups. Between the Kardashian-Jenner wedding drama and Solange and Jay Z‘s recent elevator spat, it’s clear that even famous families have their share of conflict. And you thought your Thanksgiving dinners were the only ones to end in tears? Hardly. Read more…
As spectators of the rich and the famous, we can assume one thing is for certain: celebrities sure do love taking a break from their busy lives of VIP treatment and parties, with even more VIP treatment and partying. And let’s face it, when you’re as big as Beyonce and Jay Z, Miley Cyrus, and the original playboy Hugh Hefner, money ain’t a thang!
Zooey Deschanel is the latest celebrity to go makeup-free, sharing her best ***Flawless face with her millions of Instagram followers. In similar fashion, Kendall Jenner went au naturel, letting her sideboob breathe after a few days at the Cannes Film Festival. Because according to KJ, “a little side boob never hurt nobody.” Believe what you will, Kendall, but I think that’s up for debate.
