More Hailie Jade Mathers Twitter Drama: Taylor Swift Beefer Wasn’t Eminem’s Daughter

Hailie Jade Mathers imposter starts Taylor Swift twitter feud

If Eminem’s little girl starting a twitter feud with Taylor Swift isn’t weird enough for you, hold on because this story is about to get even stranger. It turns out that the twitter account purported to belong to Hailie Jade Mathers was actually an imposter. On Monday a person using the handle “@hailiejade_x” tweeted antagonistic messages at T-Swift after it was reported that the singer is dating British boybander Harry Styles of One Direction. “If @taylorswift13 is really dating the love of my life @harry_styles I will not be happy!” the tweets read. “Dear @taylorswift13, please stop whoring around with every guy you see. We all know you’re only doing it so you can make another album.”

The tweets made headlines around the world, and the beefer known as Hailie soon felt guilty and apologized for the outburst. End of story, right? Wrong. A rep for Eminem told E! News this morning that the rapper’s daughter was not behind the shenanigans, and the Taylor Swift hater’s account has since been deleted. Hailie Jade has been the subject of numerous twitter hoaxes over the years. This time we were SO SURE we’d found the right one. It looks just like him, right guys!? We guess we were wrong. Or we were right, and Eminem was so pissed at his daughter that he made her delete her twitter account as punishment. He seems like a strict dad.

Eminem’s Daughter Hailie Jade Starts Twitter Beef With Taylor Swift, Tells Her To Stop “Whoring”

Eminem's daughter starts Twitter feud with Taylor Swift

Rapper Eminem is known for having one of the sharpest tongues in the music biz, and it looks like his beloved daughter Hailie Jade Mathers definitely got that part of his genes. The subject of “Hailie’s Song” has started a Twitter feud with superstar serial dater Taylor Swift, and yes – it was about a guy.

It all began when reports circulated Monday that Taylor is hooking up with Harry Styles of One Direction. We gather that Hailie has somewhat of a crush on the British boybander, because she fired off a series of angry tweets at the “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” singer. “if @taylorswift13 is really dating the love of my life @Harry_Styles i will not be happy,” she started. Clearly she has her father’s temper! But there was more “Dear @taylorswift13, please stop whoring around with every guy you see. We all know you’re only doing it so you can make another album,” continued the 16 year old. Clearly she has her father’s vocabulary, too! “I, am never, ever, everrrrr, listening to your music againnnn @taylorswift13. LIKE EVER.”

8 Mile Turns 10 Years Old Today! Take A Look Back At Our 20 Favorite Rappers Turned Movie Stars

The 20 Greatest Rappers Turned Actors

When we were freshmen in high school ten years ago, Eminem’s portrayal of  struggling rapper Jimmy “B-Rabbit” Smith (A.K.A. himself) in 8 Mile was an inspiration. The monster hit “Lose Yourself” from the soundtrack became our personal pump up jam to run laps during gym class, and gave us the confidence to take that “one shot” and ask Jenna to the prom, try out for the class play, or pass that chem test! Plus it was also notable for changing the way we thought of the phrase “mom’s spaghetti” forever.

However as we got a little older, we realized the one shot ol’ Marshall Matthers was rapping about was much more serious than our day to day high school drama. It was about reconciling hopes and dreams with growing up and responsibility, all against the bleek Detroit backdrop. By no means a quick flick rushed out to capitalize on his skyrocketing fame, Eminem gave an incredible performance, made all the more amazing considering it was his first movie!

But Eminem is by no means the only rapper who tried his hand at acting. In fact, it seemed like every MC has made the jump to films at one time or another. Some totally killed it and became a successful multi-talented crossover artist, while others…made Soul Plane. So in honor of Em’s epic 8 Mile turning 10 years old today, we’ve decided to take a look back at some of our favorite rappers-turned-movie stars over the years. Enjoy!

Eminem’s Daughter Twitter Hoax Drama: Will The Real Hailie Jade Mathers Please Stand Up?

Anyone even remotely familiar with Eminem‘s music knows that the dude has some family issues. The inspiration behind many of his greatest and most passionate tracks stems from his love of daughter Hailie Jade and his constant struggle with estranged wife Kim Scott for custody. So when Buzzfeed published photos from what was reportedly the now-16 year-old’s Twitter yesterday, the internet flocked to get a look at the muse behind classics like The Marshall Mathers LP and The Slim Shady LP. The only problem? It might not be her. Last night Eminem’s manager fired off some tweets of his own denying that Hailie had a twitter, and by this afternoon her alleged page had vanished.

This isn’t the first time an apparent Hailie Mathers twitter hoax has been let loose on an unsuspecting inter-webs. In March of 2011 a young woman made headlines for posing as Em’s lil girl, before his management debunked the imposter. Which makes sense considering the fact that each photo tweeted from the account looked like totally different people. See for yourself:

Tupac Movie Director Bails For Eminem Boxing Film

We’ve been waiting 15 years for the upcoming Tupac Shakur movie to get made; how much longer will it be now that the Tupac director bailed for Eminem’s film? Last month we heard rumors that Training Day director Antoine Fuqua was signed on for the Tupac film, based on the rapper’s biopic; he even went so far as to convince Shakur’s mother Afeni to get involved with the film’s creation, and the last thing you want to is pull the rug out from under a celebrity mom.

Apparently Fuqua has since left to helm Eminem’s new film Southpaw. The rapper’s new film features Eminem as a scrappy welterweight who has to rise above the obstacle’s in his life to succeed at the sport, and is based in part on Marshall Mathers’ life. So, just imagine Eight Mile combined with The Fighter, but with more broken noses. The Tupac movie is currently scheduled to start filming later this year. Seeing as how Southpaw allegedly has a similar shooting schedule, it looks like Fuqua is out for good. Because who wasn’t clamoring to see another movie starring Eminem as an angry young man who has to learn how to deal with life’s struggles? We know we weren’t.

Eminem Calls Lady Gaga A “Male Lady” On New Track

Sorry, Lady Gaga: Eminem will not have sex with you. The 38-year-old rapper takes a surprising potshot at his  Interscope Records labelmate on “A Kiss,” a track from his upcoming Hell: The Sequel EP, a collaboration with Royce Da 5’9″ as Bad Meets Evil. “Tell Lady Gaga she can quit her job at the post office/ She’s still a mail lady/ Wouldn’t f— her with her d—/ You heard it/ The verdict’s in.” In case you missed the pun “mail lady” sounds like “male lady,” undoubtedly a reference to the “Gaga is a hermaphrodite” rumors of 2009—back when he awkwardly handed Gaga her Best New Artist trophy at the MTV Music Awards (remember, he’s a 38-year-old dad, most of them still quote pop culture gossip from 2009).

So far Gaga has not responded to the track, on which Eminem also announces that “Shady” is on Katy Perry‘s “tail, he’s tailgating.” Since “A Kiss” is not the EP’s single, it seems unlikely we’ll get a video a la “We Made You” where Eminem can explore his complicated/asinine feelings about these female celebs further, but if the hype around this dis spreads—and if Interscope execs decide the drama is good for business—who knows? Maybe “Weird” Al won’t be the only guy planning a Gaga impersonation on TV.

Dr. Dre To Perform Live At The Grammys With Eminem

Dr. Dre has been a background player in the music business for the better part of the last decade, choosing to act as producer rather than performer during that time. But Dre has announced that he’ll be performing live with Eminem at the Grammy Awards this Sunday, his first television appearance in over ten years and his first Grammy performance ever. Maroon 5‘s Adam Levine is also reportedly joining  the pair during their performance. Dre’s appearance is just one of many in the pretty amazing Grammy night lineup—dare we say that the scheduled performances are actually a pretty good representation of “cool” music this year, with acts like Mumford & Sons, Florence And The Machine, Cee-Lo, Lady Gaga and Arcade Fire taking the stage.

The Grammy Awards air this Sunday, February 13 on CBS at 8 p.m. EST.

Before Twilight, RPattz Wanted To Be A Rapper Named Big Tub

SPL216254_014

Robert Pattinson (photos) probably wishes he could take back the interview he did with Top of the Pops magazine where he confessed that his childhood dream was to rap like Eminem. The interview is actually quite adorable but feature a few key points that, while thoroughly entertaining, might make life difficult for him. Allow us to break it down for you by quote:

1. First off, Pattinson says “I’ve got a whole collection of tapes of me rapping from when I was 13! I wanted to be a rapper so there are hundreds and hundreds of tapes. They’re very amusing!” Adorable anecdote, but we now fear that Robert’s garbage will be the subject of some rooting around. Hundreds of tapes of a 13-year-old Pattinson rapping? Who wouldn’t want to get their hands on those, make thousands of copies and then put them on eBay? Certainly not crazed Twilight fans, no siree.

60910252

It’s that time of the year already! The 53rd annual Grammy nominations (for 2011) were announced last night and it’s safe to say that Eminem made a clean sweep popping up in 10 categories. Love the Way you Lie is up for Song and Record of the Tear while Recovery has received nominations for Album and Rap Album of the Year. Just for a quick memory jog, remember who was a big winner at last year’s GrammysBeyonce!

Other big nominees this year include Bruno Mars with seven nominations, and Jay-Z, Lady Gaga and Lady Antebellum with six each. John Legend and B.o.B follow closely with five. Katy Perry, who’s performing for VH1 Divas Salute the Troops (Sunday, Dec. 5, at 9/8c), scored four nominations, including one for Album of the Year for Teenage Dream.

What’s your take on the nominees this year? Did anyone get left out? How many categories will Eminem win? Will Cee Lo get Song of the Year for the genius F— You? Will Gaga’s Fame Monster kick out the other monster albums? Will Justin Bieber get Best New Artist (we love Biebs, but our vote goes to Florence and the Machine).

Megan Fox Is Eminem’s Video Vixen

Megan Fox may have a promising career ahead of her…as a video vixen. Take that Michael Bay! According to E! Online, Eminem recruited Megan for his “Love The Way You Lie” music video. The single from his Recovery album is currently number one on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart and features Rihanna’s vocals in an all-too-real song about the horror of an abusive relationship. Besides Em and RiRi, Megan is apparently set to join Lost’s Dominic Monaghan today and tomorrow to shoot scenes for the video.

In typical Megan Fox fashion, the scenes with Dominic are supposedly going to get extra steamy. E! Online’s source says, “Things start off with a sex scene between Megan and Dominic. Then they fight, but end up having sex again.” Ooh la la! If this doesn’t make you feel overheated, prepare yourself for the literal flames that will be erupting during the video when a house complete with the white picket fence catches fire all the while Eminem and Rihanna are performing.

Talk about symbolism.
