Kelly Clarkson Has The Best Inauguration Ever: Photobombed By Bill Clinton, Hangs With Beyonce!

If there was anyone having a good day yesterday, other than President Obama and our gorgeous First Lady, of course, it had to be Kelly Clarkson. She was at the occasion to sing My Country ‘Tis of Thee with the United States Marine Band after the Prez’s address. Her backstage time was well-spent with that other powerhouse, who blew us away with her rendition of the national anthem, Beyonce. Kelly was suitably star-struck around Bey, as you can see in the picture on the left. “Me and B just hangin’ out ….don’t worry about it. Seriously, God did good. She is so beautiful!” is what her tweet read.

And then it got even better. Because during the time that she was actually singing — and TV cameras picked this up everywhere — she kept getting photobombed by none other than ex-Prez Bill Clinton. Solid gold. This photograph (above right) has been doing the rounds and cracked us up completely. You go, Kelly.

Kelly Clarkson Is Flattered By Those Rumors That She’s A Lesbian, Gets Hit On By “The Hottest Girls Ever”

Even though she recently got engaged to long-time boyfriend Brandon Blackstock, there are some folks out there who still believe that Kelly Clarkson is secretly a lesbian. The singer has faced whispers about her sexuality for years, but she has never shied away from it. In fact, she’s says she out and proud to be a rumored lesbian!

“People think, ‘Oh, she’s been single for too long.’ That’s kind of an insult to the gay community,” she said in a recent interview with Cosmopolitan Magazine. She apparently had a six year dry spell before hitting it off with Joey McIntyre in February of 2011. “Being single doesn’t mean you’re gay. But I’m never insulted by it, obviously. I mean, I get hit on by the hottest girls ever. Oh my god, if I were a lesbian, I would be so in luck. But it’s not just my thing. I’ve always battled for the boys’ team.”

On top of a constant stream of tours, recording dates, and other chores of the superstar lifestyle, Kelly admits to another reason why she was single for so long. “Usually the guys who hit on me are tools. It’s the ones that don’t hit on you that make you like ‘Why didn’t you ask me out?’ It’s like American Idol auditions: The guys who are the most confident are the horrible ones, and the ones who are good have no confidence at all.” But it sounds like Kelly is just as good as Simon Cowell at putting the jerks in their place.

Kelly Clarkson And Kat Von D Get Engaged: Time For Another Round Of Guess The Celeb Rock!

Everyone knows that the holiday season is one of the most romantic times of the entire year. We blame Love Actually. And now it looks like Christmas came early for famous ladies like Kelly Clarkson, Crystal Harris and Kat Von D as their beaus got them all a pretty sweet gift: An engagement ring! The trio all took to Twitter to give fans a glimpse of their new rocks. American Idol alum Clarkson flashed her bling backstage at VH1 DIVAs after boyfriend Brandon Blackstock popped the question over the weekend.

Top DJ Deadmau5 took the opposite approach and actually proposed to girlfriend Kat Von D on Twitter this Saturday! The on again off again couple reunited in November after breaking up in September, so we’ll see if the notoriously tempestuous two-some make it to the alter. But we saved our biggest reservations for Crystal Harris, who showed off her second engagement ring from Hugh Hefner last week. Why second, you ask? Because she sold her first one after she left the 86-year-old at the alter last year. Ooof. Good luck, you crazy kids. UPSIDE-DOWN CAKE

2 oz. SMIRNOFF® Iced Cake Flavored Vodka
1 oz. orange juice
1 oz. pineapple juice
Top off with club soda

Directions: Build in a Highball glass over ice and top off with Club Soda. Garnish with sprinkles, a cherry and an orange twist.

Hairy Updates: Jewel Goes Brunette, Kelly Clarkson Goes Blond And Nicole Richie Goes Pink

Nothing like a little hair experimentation to completely change your look. Three super famous ladies decided to shake things up in that department this week. First up we have the awesome Kelly Clarkson who was spotted running around London yesterday with a freshly blond ‘do with bangs, that you can see in the picture above and on the right. Do we like it on her? Yes, we do! The length of the haircut is great too and really suits her. On the left, we have Jewel who tweeted a photograph of her transformation into June Carter, who she is going to portray in a Lifetime biopic called The June Carter Cash Story. The film is going to be based on John Carter Cash‘s memoir “Anchored in Love: An Intimate Portrait of June Carter Cash.” The singer’s message read, “Here I am as June in my trailer with her blue eyes and perfect teeth …” You have to admit she looks totally different and we’re hoping she sticks around as a brunette for a while.

While Kelly and Jewel’s color changes really shakes things up for them, they’re still kind of standard shades. Nicole Richie‘s new dye job is far more punk! She posted the image you can see above on the left, on her website, with a simple message that read, “Tickled Pink!” So different especially when compared to her regular honey-blond (on the right.) But if anyone can pull it off, it’s Nicole! We’re wondering is she’s going to keep the pink tips or try out something new again.

It’s hard to believe that it’s been 10 years since Kelly Clarkson shot to fame as the very first winner of American Idol! When VH1 Diva performer Jessie J stopped by to chat with our red carpet host La La Anthony about her jaw-dropping outfit, she explained: “I sat with Falguni and Shane Peacock and I explained to them that I need a dress that’s skin tight that makes me feel like a diva.” Mission accomplished, thrice! Her red carpet number, a sheer black dress with gold embroidery and crucifix imagery, was one of the most talked-about outfits of the night, possibly because it made only a feeble attempt to cover her bra and panties — although she sure kept her feet modest with that black curtain.
