Even though it’s been announced that Scarlett Johansson is pregnant at least one person refuses to acknowledge it. ScarJo herself has remained mum about being a mom and The Gossip Table is on the case.
We wish we could claim we were at all surprised by Nick Cannon‘s super TMI overshares on Howard Stern this morning. Scandalized, yes, but not surprised. Doesn’t it make a lot of sense that Nick and Mariah Carey would make love to Mimi’s music? Doesn’t it somehow feel right? Everyone else in the world has done it at some point; why shouldn’t they get the opportunity as well? That’s where we draw the line, though. Cannon’s admission that, uh, he masturbates to Mariah’s ballad “Hero” or how he and Mariah abstained from sex before marriage were a bit much. “It was Mariah Carey. If Mariah Carey gave a bad blowjob, I’m still going in,” Cannon said by way of explaining their abstinence. “Either way she’s still one of the most beautiful women on the planet.” Oh jeez, why did you have to call to mind a Mariah Carey blowjob? Now there is no way Mariah won’t scream at you over this!
On the other hand, Nick’s so friendly and goofy during the interview, we’re sure Mariah will only berate at him for a few hours. And let’s be honest…he might like. That doesn’t mean the rest of us can’t drop our monocles over the details of their sex life. Honestly, it’s almost like Jay-Z blowing up Beyonce‘s sexual spot. No,…forget we said that. That would never, ever, ever happen. Ever. If it would, you know we would immediately put it in our 20 Celebrity Sex Overshares:

Politically active celebrities are flocking to the polls in droves today to vote for their 2012 presidential picks, but they’re also taking to twitter to make sure everyone else rocks their right to the big V. While some folks like Donald Trump and Mariah Carey are posting pics of themselves actually doing the deed, others like Eva Longoria and Lady Gaga are simply showing their support for their candidates via tweet. In the weeks leading up to the election we’ve seen some pretty crazy endorsement stunts come out of the Hollywood community. Remember Snoop Dog/Lion’s instagram or Clint Eastwood’s chair? But it seems like today celebrities are leaving the political smashing and bashing behind and just encouraging us all to just get out there and vote it up. So no matter who you’re voting for make sure you get up, get out, and let your voice be heard! But before you hit the polls, take a look at how some of our favorite celebs are spending their Election Day. Find out in the gallery below!
Things are getting cray! We thought the video of Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj getting into it behind the scenes at American Idol was absurd, but we’re even more shocked that Nick Cannon would openly talk about the incident with Access Hollywood. He doesn’t say anything mean of course, but still. We have to assume his publicist was having a stroke off-camera. “Of course I’ve heard about it,” Cannon laughed this morning about the drama. “I feel like it’s taking away from the quality of what Idol is all about.” When it comes to placing blame, however, Nick isn’t throwing Minaj or (unsurprisingly) his own spouse under the bus. “I’m kind of disappointed in Fox and everything because they’re taking away from the quality,” Nick opined, even postulating that the show is actively courting drama. “Otherwise, how else would all of that stuff get on TMZ?,” he muses. Well, based on the fight footage, it seems pretty clear who ver was taping the blow-out did so secret. So our guess would be…via a newly unemployed AI staff or crew member?
As if the tense shouting match wasn’t enough, according to TMZ, Nicki Minaj allegedly made a violent threat toward Mariah during an unrecorded moment. “If I had a gun I would shoot her,” the “Pound The Alarm” singer raged. Well, if that’s true, you certainly don’t see Carey reacting to it in any way. According to AI‘s Nigel Lythgoe, “The statement [that Nicki made a death threat] is absolute rubbish. It’s absolutely not true in any way, shape or form.” Said Cannon, “My wife is the strongest and the classiest woman I’ve ever met. If you watch the video, she just maintains her composure. I don’t think she’s moved by the theatrics and pageantry of it all.” We don’t think so either! And honestly, does anyone believe this is the first time two famous people got into a screaming fight? For all we know, Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler were at each other’s perfumed, scarf-adorned throats every day last season. There was just no leaked video to tip off us normals.

Body-hugging white satin, Eiffel tower framed in the window, photographers snapping pics of your goofy handsome husband literally kneeling at your feet: yup, we couldn’t imagine Mariah Carey‘s vows renewal ceremony any other way. Only four years after locking it down all official like, Mimi and Nick Cannon took their endless love to Paris to pledge themselves to each other for eternity…again. That is so romantic. Plus if you’ve got a white suit, might as well get some use out of it, right? Actually, scratch that. Mariah probably makes Nick wear that to pick up baby wipes. It’s his every day tux!
“[W]e have put together some very festive plans: ) LYM! Can’t wait to see you soon in Paris,” Mimi tweeted slyly earlier this week. The couple are also celebrating the birth of their twins Moroccan and Monroe next week, and you had better believe they will going all out for it. Blue Ivy is going to throw up with jealousy! Or because she’s a baby; one of the two. “[V]ery excited to celebrate #dembabies first birthday in a week, I can’t even believe it’s been a year.. wow!!!,” Carey gushed on Twitter. “Shopping for Roc & Roe’s bday in Paris.. Dembabies dembabies dembabies!” Like amazing diva mother, like amazing diva daughter…and son.

We all remember how mysterious it was when Nick Cannon was rushed to the hospital for kidney failure and blood clots back in January. Looks like Mariah Carey‘s hubby is hoping to demystify the autoimmune disease that forced him to quit his radio show in February with a seemingly awesome, unquestionably invasive web series entitled NCredible Health Hustle. The show will chronicle Cannon’s recovery and healthy journey. The first episode, posted today, already offers a plethora of extremely intimate moments. For example:
- Nicki’s face, all puffy from fluid retention. “Some people say it looks good, but I want to get back to chiseled,” he laughs.
- Talk of a renal diet.
- Nick’s severe kidney pain.
- Cannon trying to jam his pants on over his elaborate torso bandages.
- Nick’s incredibly dapper “retired gang member” grandfather.
- The inside of the Cannon/Carey crib, complete with twin baby seats.
- Nick eating a banana. “There’s no tough way to eat a banana,” he realizes, before chowing down and giggling behind his hand.
“[I'm] hoping this series serves as inspiration for anyone dealing with kidney disease, lupus or any illness to keep pushing as well.”,” Cannon told UsWeekly. Aw, well, who are we to judge someone who is trying to use his TMI to help other people? It’s not any more personal than us posting about our weird toenail on Facebook. Hmm…we smell another web series! And our weird toe nail!
Nick Cannon says he “feels blessed to be alive” after experiencing kidney failure and a blood-clot scare over the past few months, but the condition that landed him in the hospital and caused him to quit his radio show is chronic, he told People. Doctors told him he has an autoimmune disease similar to lupus that caused his kidney infection, and the blood clots found in his lungs were a result of the infection.
“The blood clot thing was probably the scariest because … I’ve known people who have passed away from that,” he told the magazine on Wednesday, when he was deejaying at New York’s Teqa Restaurant and Tequila Bar.
Clearly, Cannon is slowing down for his health, but not stopping altogether. He took the above photo high atop the Golden Gate Bridge last week. “Since I defied death once I figured I might as well do it again!” he tweeted of the adventure. “I’m not in the hospital I’m on the top of the world! Excuse me while I kiss the sky.”
“It’s a lot of stuff, but it’s all in order now,” Cannon told People of his health. We hope so, Nick. Mariah and Dem Babies need you happy and strong!

Good news, everyone! Our get-well wishes actually worked! Well, that and probably medical science and the natural wonders of the human body. Anyway, Nick Cannon is on the mend after being hospitalized for mild kidney failure, according to Mariah Carey. “Nick is in stable condition with a good prognosis, hopefully he’ll be discharged within 2 days. As always he’s laughing and in good spirits,” Mimi tweeted today, after posting the above photo of her visiting her hubby.
Nick was hospitalized in Aspen on Tuesday, and Mariah tweeted and blogged about his condition on Wednesday, calling it “painful” without revealing what caused his kidney failure. Later on Wednesday, Cannon himself tweeted: “Currently being transferred to a hospital in LA. Thank you all for all your love, prayers and concern. You know me… I will be a’ight.” And on Thursday, he posted a pic of himself getting a haircut in his hospital room.
This afternoon, he mysteriously tweeted, “Just left the operating table and I was awake during the whole procedure. #OUCH.” Any doctors out there want to venture a guess as to what kind of procedure that was?
First, the slightly scary news: Nick Cannon is in an Aspen, Colorado, hospital recovering from “mild kidney failure,” according to a tweet from Mariah Carey. Even though she called it mild, and he seems alert enough in the photo above, Mariah also said that “this is very painful” in a blog post she wrote later. Also, we looked this up on WebMD, and found only entries for “acute kidney failure” and “chronic kidney failure,” neither of which sounded like much fun. Acute failure is caused by a drop in flow to blood from the kidneys; damage from medicines, poisons or infections; or something like kidney stones, a tumor or enlarged prostate blocking urine from flowing out of the kidneys. Ow.
But we’re going to follow MC’s example and focus on the positive, like how sweet they look together, even in the hospital. As she said in her blog, “We’re doing OK but we’re ‘straaaaaanded in Aspen.’ #DramaticDivaPlace (I know, we could be in a lot worse places) but the truth is as long as we’re together, we’re OK.”
Get well soon, Nick. Dembabies miss you!
Nick Cannon should really learn to lay off the pranks. Last spring he gave out his home phone number while broadcasting his 92.3 radio show, leading to fans calling his then-pregnant wife Mariah Carey at all hours. And yesterday Nick pissed people off with his “funny” steez again, by pretending to lose his co-host’s tiny dog after tying it to 50 helium-filled balloons! While allegedly doing an on-air experiment to see how many balloons it would take to lift DJ Sarah Lee’s Pomeranian, Nick pretended that the stunt went horribly wrong and that the animal was floating away. He posted a spoof video of the event on the station’s website, and even made “lost” posters, which claimed that the dog was seen floating over the Hudson towards New Jersey. However, he soon revealed that it was just a dummy flying high in the skies, and that the real pooch was safe and sound.
Although he meant it in good fun, Nick’s canine tribute to the movie Up has animal rights groups up in arms, fearing that a copycat prankster could attempt to do this for real. “If bad taste were a crime, we’d be going to jail with Nick,” says a spokesperson for activist group PETA. “But joking about killing a dog, a kid, an old person — anyone — isn’t cool when there’s always the danger that some numbskull will do it for real.” After getting death threats, Nick remains defiant on the matter. “Even if someone was dumb enough to try the balloon stunt scientifically it wouldn’t work,” he said on his twitter. “Mathematically 50 balloons could never carry a dog into the air.” He better be careful, or else PETA might do an experiment to see how many balloons it takes to make him float away.
