Isn’t this the most awesome way to start a morning? Call us suckers for baby pictures, because we totally and unabashedly are. Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey had their baby boy a little over two weeks ago and their statement, given right after his birth, read, ”We are incredibly proud to announce the birth of our beautiful baby boy, Camden John Lachey. Born today at 6:54 p.m., he came into this world at 8 lbs., 9 oz. and 21 inches. Love has truly been redefined for both of us.” So happy for the couple, but our first thought was — pictures, please? Ever since Vanessa showed off her baby bump on Twitter, we’ve been hankering to see some more shots, and now the wait is over. Vanessa tweeted this awesome snap of their newborn with a message that read, “NickSLachey and I are honored and humbled to introduce you to the new Love of our lives, Camden John Lachey.” This is the first picture the world has seen of little Camden, and it’s a super one. Look at that full head of hair! Now we’re going to feel all gooey for the rest of the day now, so, good on you guys.

These two have been off the radar for some time now, have they not? But this picture tweeted by Vanessa Minnillo, with her husband, Nick Lachey is just too cute too ignore. “My Happiness… My Family! Ahhh, My Boys! (Wookie included) …” was the message. ‘Nessa’s baby bump rivals Jessica Simpson‘s — before she popped. J.Simp being Lachey’s ex, that is. But let’s not get into that, but instead get into how gorgeous Vanessa’s looking. She’s glowing and it shows, especially with that teeny bandeau top she’s in. Also, does that tweet mean she’s having a boy? “Ahhh, My Boys,” includes Nick, but also includes her yet-be-born son, which was confirmed by the couple as they revealed the gender last month saying they were thrilled at the news. Vanessa announced she was preggers in March, FYI, and she’s due sometime in September. That’s two months away. We can’t imagine her belly getting even bigger because it’s already so huge. We wish the couple love and luck for the last two months of their journey and can’t wait to meet their special little man. Wonder if they’ve already got a name picked out and ready?

Nick and Drew Lachey called into Ryan Seacrest’s radio show this morning to announce that 98 Degrees would be reuniting this summer … for just one show, on August 18 at the Summer Mixtape Festival in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Disappointed that it’s just for one show? Or, um, disappointed that this is 98 Degrees reuniting and not ‘NSYNC. Aw, these guys can’t catch a break, even more than a decade after they formed in the shadow of those other beloved boy bands. But then again, maybe it’s time to give the Lachey brothers, Justin Jeffre and Jeff Timmons another chance at your teen-girl screams. After all, they probably aren’t content to rest on their laurels, so they’ll be trying harder. And that Nick has aged quite nicely, wouldn’t you say? You keep making those movies, Justin Timberlake. Vanessa Minnillo Pregnant, Helping Nick Lachey Catch Up With Jessica Simpson
While Jessica Simpson appears to be in her 20th month of pregnancy, her ex-husband, Nick Lachey, has caught up to her in the baby-making race: He announced while guest-hosting Live With Kelly this morning that wife Vanessa Minnillo is pregnant with their first child.
“She started to feel a little different, not herself so she went to the store, got a pregnancy test, and it came back positive. So we are having a baby!” Nick said of Vanessa, whom he married last July. “I’ve had a chance to do a lot of great things in my career and my life but this is the one thing that, more than any other, I look forward to. The fact that it’s actually here, it’s overwhelming.”
According to Us Weekly, 30-year-old Minnillo, the host of Wipeout these days, is 12 weeks along. Some pics taken of her last weekend in Mexico appear to show her with a tiny baby bump — or as we like to call it, a normal-person’s stomach. We wonder if Baby Lachey and Simpson’s Baby Johnson will one day be friends?

Happy Valentine’s Day! Or not, depending on how you feel about the holiday. And listen, we know there are a lot of singletons out there who are not so pleased about how much we in the media focus on this holiday. But we can’t help it, OK? We cover divorces and breakdowns and deaths and fights all the time, and it’s really nice to have a day that’s all about the important things in life. (No, not the unveiling of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, though that’s nice too.) We just really want to escape from it all and look at Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez nuzzling each other. We would like to soak in the happiness that is Adam Lambert and Sauli Koskinen’s love, bask in Jay-Z and Beyonce’s adorable glory, shiver with delight at the perpetual hotness of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, and marvel at the lasting power of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith. We are hoping some of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s world-saving affection will rub off on us. And we’re even going to allow for some admiration of Tom Brady and Gisele Bunchen, football loyalties aside.
But here’s some good news for you black-hearted V-day haters: The last time we did a best couples gallery, back in December, one of those couples announced their divorce a few days later. Oh, no! What have we done?!?

The final few we loved were folks like Calista Flockhart and Harrison Ford who cracked us up by getting their ’80s on as members of Mötley Crüe. Eden Wood from Toddlers and Tiaras was big this year with Chrissy Teigen and Fergie dressing up as her. Kelly Ripa outdid herself on Live! With Regis and Kelly along with Nick Lachey. Their first outfit sequence had Kelly dressed up as Eden as well, and Nick as Charlie Sheen. Their second has Kelly as Kim Kardashian and Nick (on stilts) as Kris Humphries on their wedding day. Ouch! The sexiest prize goes to Miranda Kerr who was the hottest ringmaster ever, and we’d like to give a round of applause to the mommies-to-be as well. Beyoncé was the cutest bumblebee in town, while Jennifer Garner was a witch.

Jessica Simpson’s Pup Dognapped By Coyotes
Poor Jessica Simpson! Her Malti-Poo pooch, Daisy, was snatched by coyotes yesterday (Simpson Twittered “A coyote took my precious Daisy right in front of our eyes. HORROR! We are searching. Hoping. Please help!”) and she has been distraught and searching for the 5-year-old dog ever since.
Simpson rarely travels without the dog, who was a gift from ex-hubby Nick Lachey. She has been busy posting signs all over her Calabasas, CA neighborhood, hoping that someone will have found the dog alive – we’re really hoping this ends happily for Jess and she’s reunited with Miss Daisy.
