Yesterday we made a big deal about the oft-pantsless Rihanna donning not one but two pairs of jeans at her fashion line after party in London. We thought that perhaps she was turning over a new leaf, revealing a whole new world of slacks. But then she posted this racy snap of herself in a thong and leather boots, and we realized that some things will just never change!
We’re thinking that Rihanna got fed up with our constant jokes about her never wearing pants. That’s the only way we can explain this bizarre double-bagged jeans look she wore to her River Island launch after-party in London last night.
February may be the shortest month of the year, but some of our famous friends made very sure to keep us stocked up with sexy Twitpics and Instagrams to get us through! Rihanna, Coco, Adrianne Curry and the rest of the never-shy usual suspects burnt up our feeds with super-hot selfies, bikini pics, and (occasionally) selfie bikini pics.
Here’s why we’re rejoicing over Rihanna‘s special dual cover for Elle‘s April issue. They’re both very fashion focused where, “Rihanna shows off pieces from her spring/summer 2013 collection for River Island on both: a black, zip-through River Island skirt paired with a Louis Vuitton monochrome top on one and on the other, a striped bra from the same collection peeking out from Prada’s silk and satin stole.” But apart from all of that, we’re just happy she’s clothed. And not being — exceedingly Rihanna. We love her, you guys know that. But between her mostly naked GQ cover, her hyper-sexy Complex covers and her her many, many half-naked Twitter pictures, covers and editorials, we’re used to seing the songbird not just cross the line, but erase it completely. Then there are the even more controversial photographs of Rih blazing up which are a whole ‘nother ball game. So, thank you, Elle. We’re really enjoying see Rihanna look sharp, gorgeous, gamine while covered up because she can totally rock that avatar too.

Believe it or not, Rihanna is now a quarter-century old, 50 years closer to living out her diamond dreams while sitting by an infinity pool, at her posh Barbados compound. We’ve already celebrated her 25th birthday here at VH1, but, naturally, RiRi had some partying of her own to attend to. She even wore clothes!

Not cool, Breezy fans. That’s Miss Rihanna in the photographs looking super fine as she entered The Box nightclub in SoHo, London this weekend, pictured on the left, but left clutching her knee. Why? Because, apparently, a Chris Brown fan throw a bottle at her. Reports are suggesting it didn’t connect with her, but she scraped her knee in the resulting kerfuffle. It was a bottle of Lucozade which is like Red Bull, but only British, if anyone is interested. The angry, and we’re guessing drunk card-carrying member of Team Breezy, also yelled at Ri-Ri about Brown, possibly maddened by their on-off-on-what’s up with the ring rigmarole they’ve been on. The good news is that Rih wasn’t hurt. The great news is that she’s looking hotter than ever. The best news is that she’s far cooler than an entire boatload of Brown fans. Easy now, people.

Many of Rihanna’s fans feel conflicted over her rekindled relationship with Chris Brown. While wanting to give her space and respect her decisions in her personal life, a great many of her supporters have voiced their obvious concern about returning to the man who harmed her four years ago. And reportedly one of those concerned is her good friend and fellow mega-celeb Katy Perry, and now rumors are circulating that the former besties have fallen out!
Wait a minute. Wait just a damn minute. While re-watching Rihanna’s showstopping performance of “Stay” at the 2013 Grammys for the 424,123th time, we found our eyes drawn to the ring on her hand that, yes, shone bright like a diamond. Earlier on the red carpet Riri had rocked tons of finger bling, but how she wore just this simple diamond band on her left ring finger, more commonly known as the “wedding finger”. Errr, is there something we don’t know? Did she and boyfriend Chris Brown make the engagement jump?
