For Rihanna, it’s not a question of whether to wear your gigantic winter hat—it’s a question of which gigantic winter hat to wear. The singer zipped from Paris to London today, stepping on and off the Eurostar with a black furry monster of a cap and carrying what appears to be the pelt she slapped atop her skull the other day in NYC (or some other slicing from the same animal). Is this some kind of promotional tie-in or does she just really, really want to keep her head warm? If stylish young ladies start strutting around with dead Muppets on their dome, we’ll know who to blame. The newspaper print pants she wore in Paris? We’re not too worried about those catching on (give them a look in the gallery below).

Even someone who’d never heard of Rihanna would have spotted her shopping around Manhattan yesterday, thanks to the ginormous furry hat she refused to take off inside or out. Kept warm by the Muppet humping her head, Rihanna and pal Melissa Forde hit 5th Ave, Louis Vitton, Toys R Us and Jason’s Jewelry, a bargain electronics store in Union Square. Between this caterpillar gangbang and the fuzzy wonder she wore in London last month, we can’t wait to see what headwear the Barbadian beauty will rock when it really gets cold.

Uh oh, Rihanna! Your fly’s unzipped! The “Russian Roulette” singer went down the Jennifer Aniston road for her GQ cover, adding some short shorts but losing the tie. Racy photos of Rihanna unsurprisingly reside inside the mag as well, one featuring the singer in a knit halter top that’s a bit too short for outside wear.
“[Island Def Jam chairman] L.A. Reid came into the shoot,” Rihanna told her interviewer, “and he was like, ‘Rihanna, put some f*cking clothes on!’” When the guy pimping your album says you’re too nude…you’re definitely doing something right.
Rihanna shot her video for “Hard” earlier this month, and we already have our hands on a 30-second sneak peek. Talking to MTV News, Rihanna described the video as “couture-military.” Now we know why. With machine gun in hand, she commands a troop of soldiers while wearing a futuristic white top, black shorts (or are those panties?), and combat boots. Considering the song’s lyrics (“I see you aiming at my pedestal, I betta let ya’ know that I’m so hard”), we’re guessing that Rihanna is firing a warning shot with this video. Potential competitors: Don’t even try!
Not only will “Hard” have its world premiere exclusively on VH1, MTV and The FABlife on Thursday, December 17, at 4PM EST, but Rihanna will also be here to chat with fans. Don’t miss it.
Prior to Tila Tequila announcing her engagement, Tila and “fiance” Casey Johnson walked the red carpet at the Famous Stars and Straps 10th Anniversary and Snoop Dogg’s 10th Album Event and had a little slip of the nip. That’s right – Tila’s areolas just popped out of her top and posed for the cameras too. Although Tila’s nipples made their red carpet debut, she’s not the fist celebrity to have a little booby wardrobe malfunction. Check out our gallery of other celebrity nipple slips! Luckily for the passengers of Rihanna‘s flight from New York, if there was a problem with the pilot, Captain Riri could take over – ‘cuz she came dressed to man a jumbo jet. Rihanna gave runway a double meaning yesterday when she showed up at JFK in this striped bodysuit with black leather jacket, pilot’s cap, and aviator lenses. If she wasn’t already in First Class, this getup definitely made her eligible for an automatic upgrade. We know you have options when you fly, Riri, thank you for choosing to dress ferociously! If her stint with Andy Samberg on “Saturday Night Live” last weekend was an indicator, Rihanna is a pretty good actress, and funnier than we expected. So when she opened up about pursuing acting recently, she had some pretty ambitious ideas about what roles she wants to play. “I’d love to be an assassin. Either that or a lesbian. Maybe both. Hey, a gay assassin, there’s nothing hotter than that. Megan Fox would play my girlfriend – hands down. She’s yummy. She’s hot.”
Something tells us she wouldn’t have to work very hard to pitch this movie in Hollywood. And everyone knows you’re Oscar-bait if you go full homicidal lesbian, just look at Charlize Theron. [Photo: GettyImages]
Well doesn’t Riri look like quite a little cherub with her rosy cheeks and winged jacket? Rihanna rocked this fantastic cropped jacket with chic shoulder pads when she headed to the Knicks game with her pal Melissa Forde. Rihanna looks like a happy and glowing angel as she strolls with her friend. The pop star is quite a bringer of good luck indeed! The Knicks beat the Trailblazers 93-84. [Photos: Splash News Online]
Chris Brown gave yet another interview this weekend, this time to ABC’s Robin Roberts on “20/20.” In addition to his countless apologies and his version of what happened the night he attacked Rihanna, he also claimed he wrote a song for her which made her cry.
First, Brown admitted that he was heavily coached by PR people when he released his YouTube apology to the world, saying, “They just telling me like, ‘OK, don’t say this. And don’t say it this way, ’cause they’re gonna take it this way. So, I had in my — my head wasn’t really giving me a chance to be me. It was just being myself through other people. … It was genuinely from me, but it wasn’t projected genuinely.” We can understand that – although the one thing we’ll never understand in all of this is that bow tie he wore on “Larry King.” But ANYway.
Brown also said that he apologized to Rihanna many, many times, which we’ve been hearing for months now, but he also said he wrote the song “Changed Man” for her (coincidentally off his new album which releases tomorrow). A month after the incident, Brown played the song for Rihanna and says, “She called when she first heard the song. And I mean, I’m not trying to say — call her any liar or anything like that. But I played the song for her when I first wrote it. And she cried.”
We’re not entirely sure why we would think he was calling her a liar in this situation, but just so you know, world, convicted abuser Chris Brown doesn’t think Rihanna is a liar. Brown discusses his anger management classes and the fact that he never had any altercations with previous girlfriends, etc. etc etc. At this point it feels repetitive and while we’re almost starting to pity him, we wish these PR-heavy, face-saving interviews would go away. Chris Brown appears to be running out of ways to say he is sorry for beating Rihanna. After his YouTube video and appearance on Larry King, Chris is now appearing on 20/20 and spitting out some pretty familiar words. “I was wrong for what I did. And I would definitely say that it’s not past or look over. It’s something that’s really, really touchy. And, sorry for what went down, and what happened,” Chris said. Chris sounds pretty bored with apologizing; maybe this is his way of trying to get the world to stop talking about it too? [Photo: Splash News Online]
