There’s trouble in paradise, well, what could have been paradise. TMZ reports rapper The Game and fiance Tiffney Cambridge have called off their wedding 10 days before the couple was scheduled to walk down the aisle. What in the Sam Hill happened? Only four days ago TMZ reported that the Compton native was working with 51 Minds Entertainment to film a reality show based on his road to jumping the broom. Apparently a lot can happen in four days. Today the no longer soon to be groom tweeted, “The rumors are TRUE. The wedding is OFF. It’s not her fault, it’s mine! She’s a GREAT woman, I just wasn’t man enough 2 see it through.” We hope this has nothing to do with the supposed reality show that was in the works. Read more…
Yesterday we posted the extremely sad news of Nate Dogg‘s death. His passing was met with a fair amount of shock because the entertainer was only 41 years old, and no details had emerged about what caused him to die. While the official cause hasn’t yet been stated, Nate’s family is speaking out about what the possible cause could be. His manager and close friend Rod McGrew said he was, “95% recovered from the first stroke in 2007.” Nate had suffered two strokes — one in 2007 and one in 2008 — which left him partial paralyzed and with memory loss. What’s confusing about this is that McGrew revealed that Nate had “cognitively recovered,” and was functioning and alert in the days leading up to his death.
Either way, McGrew’s given a statement on the family’s (and his) behalf that reads, “We appreciate the enormous outpouring of response from all over the world. We greatly appreciate that and thank everyone for their prayers and support. We know that Nate will be hanging out with his good friend 2Pac and Biggie.” Meanwhile, the music community are pouring in tributes and condolences for their friend.
• Snoop Dogg tweeted, “We lost a true legend n hip hop n rnb. One of my best friends n a brother to me since 1986 when I was a sophomore at poly high where we met.” And, “I love u buddy luv. U will always b wit me 4ever n a day u put the g n g funk u put the 1 n 213 n u put yo stamp on evrybdy u ever didit wit.”

With a raspberry and plenty of nyah nyah nyahs, “So What” has put Pink back where she belongs — on top of the charts. And so what, indeed, to her ex-husband Carey Hart, referred to in unfavorable terms throughout the song. Pink isn’t the only one to turn her pain into artistic profit. As Kid Rock explains in “Half Your Age,” “You thought I was just gonna sit back and take it on the chin / But honey, I’m a songwriter …” Here are ten other tracks that prove revenge is a dish best set to music. — Charles Bottomley

Slingin’ mud: Destiny’s Child, multi-platinum for Beyonce Knowles and other hirelings.
Smeared! LeToya Luckett and LaTavia Roberson, who were unceremoniously booted from the band in 2000.
Ouch! “You thought I wouldn’t sell without you / Sold nine million.”
See you in court? Oh yes. Luckett and Roberson sued Beyonce and her father manager, claiming the lyrics violated a confidentiality agreement.
It all started with rapper/actor Bow Wow playfully challenging rapper/starf*cker The Game to a game of Madden X, suggesting that the winner would get to donate $100,000 of the other rapper’s money to their favorite charity. The Game seemed to miss the “charity” aspect in his retort, however, claiming that he has all the money he needs. What The Game needs, however, is blowjobs. Blowjobs from Bow Wow’s ex Ciara. “How about we raise the stakes…call Ciara and tell her to suck EVERYBODY on this bus’s dick.” The Game then lists the names of the would-be recipients, who nod enthusiastically. Moral of the story: rappers need to stop interacting with The Game. If you ignore him, he might go away. [Industry Finest]
Kim Kardashian‘s youngest sister Khloe‘s memories of her 173 minutes in a Los Angeles women’s jail seem to be long forgotten. Just three weeks ago Khloe served time after violating the terms of her probation for her DUI. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star danced last night away in a slinky black dress, drank Dom Perignon Rose, and partied with pals including rappers G-Unit and basketball player Baron Davis at the hip Las Vegas nightclub LAX. One gal pal even licked Khloe’s leg while she boogied to a performance by The Game. Let’s hope Khloe followed her advice to fellow DUI recipient Shia LaBeauf to “Think about your actions and get a driver!” [Photos: Splash News Online]
