We know, we know. Zoe Saldana is almost always on every best-dressed list so her inclusion in our top five at the ALMA Awards, held in Pasadena, California yesterday, is no surprise. This dusty rose Gucci Resort 2013 gown is ace on her, even though we can see most of her sternum. The color, the silhouette and the Grecian drapes are perfect on her. Brian Atwood shoes and Irene Neuwirth jewelery complete the story. And here’s where it gets unexpected. Also going the Grecian route, was Dania Ramirez who wore an emerald strappier version that was flattering, romantic and sexy at the same time. And completing the Grecian triad, was Bella Thorne who wore a scarlet, strapless Bibhu Mohapatra dress with Swarovski jewelry. Absolutely lovely, and we love the slightly ruffled, asymmetrical hem.
Then there was Madeleine Stowe who knocked it clean out of the ballpark in a striking black sequined column with a beautiful cuff and a slicked-back ponytail. How is this woman 54-years old? Rounding up the list was a very quirky but retro-gorgeous Christian Serratos whose optical illusion monochromatic dress nailed it. We were very clear that these five ladies needed to be on the best-dressed list. But there were two more celebrities who we just couldn’t make our minds up about. Read more…
Adele has sold approximately ninety zillion (give or take) copies of her instant classic 21 this year, so it’s no surprise that she’s playing to sold out venues all over the world. Some of her more famous fans were spotted attending her concert at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles last night! Dianna Agron looked stunning and see-throughy in a mildly scando sheer top, while Glee-mate Amber Riley took a more wrapped up approach in a colorful flowery blouse. Some stars made a romantic evening out of it, as Jessica Simpson showed up with fiance Eric Johnson on her arm, and America Ferrera brought along her hubby, Mr. America Ferrera (sorry, we mean Ryan Piers William). Fellow world-shaking Brit Robert Pattinson was rumored to have attended, but sadly gave the paps the slip. But many other celebs didn’t! Check out the gallery below to see what other stars came out to groove to Adele.

The Deathly Hallows premiered in New York last night and we couldn’t help but sniff a little looking at all the pictures. Each premiere means we’re inching gradually towards the end. A lot of the tertiary characters didn’t show up for the event but our main squeezes did. After wearing a dreamy Oscar de la Renta to the London premiere, Emma Watson chose a Bottega Veneta gown, Giuseppe Zanotti platform peep toe heels and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry for the NYC leg. We’re not totally feeling the look and the harsh make-up, but more on that in our next post. Not much smiling from Emma at this one. She looks like she’s taking this quite emotionally, and we don’t blame her.
Props to Daniel Radcliffe for turning up in Prada as well!  Completely the trio was Rupert Grint who cleaned up quite nicely in his suit as well. He also looked like he had taken a brush to his hair and what a difference that made! Alan Rickman — possibly one of our favorite actors and the only one who could pull off Severus Snape — looked as cool as cool could be. Pulling up the handsome quotient were Tom Felton and Matt Lewis aka Draco Malfoy and Neville Longbottom. Growing up has agreed with these two. A couple of celebrities also turned up for the premiere. Matthew Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker brought their son, James Wilkie. (Note to SJP: Stop putting your son in twee hats.) America Ferrera brought new husband Ryan Piers Williams. Sarah Hyland showed up looking lovely in an LBD, and our happy WTF of the day was Jay Manuel! All-in-all, a pretty successful premiere.

Congratulations to the newlyweds! America Ferrera married Ryan Piers Williams in a quiet, secret wedding on Monday night, after being engaged for a year. The couple have been dating for a long time (they met in college) and when they decided to tie the knot, they made sure it was [courtesy America's rep], “an intimate setting amongst close friends and family. The bride wore a dress by Amsale’s Christos label and Fred Leighton earrings.” People has a portrait of America and Ryan, and we are in love with dress. That tiered skirt is to die for.
Celebrity guests at the wedding included some of her familiar co-stars; Vanessa Williams and Rebecca Romjin from Ugly Betty were there with Rebecca’s husband, Jerry O’Connell. Blake Lively — she was with America in Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants — also watched her friend get married. We wish them so much joy! But can we not make this whole “secret wedding” deal a trend now? First Rachel Weisz and Daniel Craig and now this!
There’s a reason why Donald Trump looks so glum in this picture, while John Legend and girlfriend Chrissy Teigen look like they’re having a ball. Celebrities flocked to Washington D.C on Saturday for the White House Correspondent’s Association dinner and as usual the glam factor was pretty high. But the best part of the evening was that Trump was trumped by President Barack Obama and later, by Seth Meyers, who made some pointed jokes at The Donald’s expense in response to the “birther” debate.
Obama cracked some big ones like, “I know he’s taken some flack lately, but no one is prouder to put this birth certificate issue to rest than Donald, and that’s because he can get back to the issues that matter, like, did we fake the moon landing? What really happened in Roswell? And where are Biggie and Tupac?” Meyers rubbed it in even further with jibes like, “Donald Trump often appears on Fox, which is ironic, because a fox often appears on Donald Trump’s head.” Ouch. Donald’s massive ego must’ve taken an even more massive beating!
Now you see why Trump looks dyspeptic, right? But even he can’t deny that the dinner was an amazing success. The ladies looked gorgeous in full-length gowns (except Michelle Trachtenberg who needs to take it easy on the goth lipstick). Mila Kunis, Anna Paquin, America Ferrera, Rosario Dawson and a very pregnant Alyssa Milano hit it out of the ball park. Paula Abdul looked pretty fantastic too—surprise surprise. The men repp’d it with the likes of Ian Somerhalder, Chris Colfer and Chace Crawford looking sharp in their suits. This also happens to be the night Scarlett Johansson and Sean Penn made their hand-holding public. Page Six reports that Scarlett and Sean were all over each other at dinner with a source revealing, “She plopped down in his lap, and they were kissing.” We may not have pictures of their make-out sesh, but we do have plenty of the rest of the stars in all their finery. Check them out in our gallery below.

Amanda Seyfried is definitely a star on the rise—we’re not even halfway through 2010 and she’s already starred in three films. Following the Nicholas Sparks weepie Dear John and the Atom Egoyan sex thriller Chloe (which came out internationally in 2009) is Letters To Juliet, one of those whimsical “Americans in Europe” movies about indecisive romantics that give away the entire plot in the trailer, because apparently the audience for these films need to know exactly what the happy ending will be. Anyhow, Seyfried, joined by boyfriend Dominic Cooper, showed up at the Tribeca Film Festival premiere wearing a suit jacket with pleated shorts. Call us boring, but we think she looked lovelier walking the dog. See photos of Amanda and more in the gallery below.

Ugly Betty is waving farewell to its fans after four seasons tonight, but that doesn’t mean America Ferrera will be left high and dry. America has already had major success on the big screen and is currently starring in two films right now. Check out America’s visit to the Today Show to promote her new film How to Train Your Dragon while sitting on a huge dragon, of course. Can you spot 10 differences in this pic of America? Turns out Jennifer Aniston was making him mug less! Freed from having to play his Bounty Hunter co-star’s escort, Gerald Butler hammed up one unsexy storm at the How To Train Your Dragon premiere in Universal City. Joining in his goofery were co-stars America Ferrera, Jay Baruchel, Craig Ferguson and Jonah Hill. Hey, anyone notice that Butler (The Bounty Hunter), Ferrera (Our Family Wedding) and Baruchel (She’s Out Of My League) already had movies come out this month? They really should space this stuff out—don’t want to think about a month where you can’t see (or hear) Gerald in theaters. See his continued March movie madness in the gallery below.

Ugly Betty may be coming to an end, but America Ferrera isn’t going away. The actress was at the premiere of her new film Our Family Wedding in NYC last night, along with co-stars Regina King, Forest Whitaker, Lance Gross, Charlie Murphy and Carlos Mencia. It shouldn’t be too long before she hits the carpet again—her How To Train Your Dragon comes out later this month.
