If you miss hearing this every Sunday night before being engulfed in all the scandalous drama of Wisteria Lane, join the club. This month marks the 10-year anniversary of the Desperate Housewives premiere, one of the sexiest, most iconic guilty pleasures in TV history. VH1 reminisced with America’s dream husband Mike Delfino (James Denton) and lovable loon Katherine Mayfair (Dana Delany) about the series and what made it so juicy, on and off set.
Eva Longoria goes from desperate housewife to defense attorney, Andy Serkis‘ The Jungle Book gets another big time name, Kate Gosselin returns to TV, and more celebrity news that yo missed while you were sleeping.
We have to admit that we found out this morning that Maxim had named actress Eva Longoria as their “2014 Woman of the Year,” we have to admit we were a tiny bit perplexed. After all, the year is only six days old. However, it has to be said that 2013 was indeed a very hot and sexy year for the 38-year-old Longoria, so 2014 should be no different. But then we couldn’t help but wonder, “Isn’t every year a hot and sexy year for Eva Longoria?”
Oprah Winfrey allegedly confronts Lindsay Lohan, Kaley Cuoco is set to get married, and Jennifer Lawrence is tapped for a new role.
What is it about people tripping? The panicked expression; the flailing, futile attempts to stop the tumble — it’s all so hilarious. Especially when celebs do it (they should be above falling, somehow, so it’s extra-funny). Here, we caught 15 stars in mid-tumble. Share a sick giggle with us at their expense!
What’s that? Is that the sound of a thousand blenders all making margaritas? Well then, that can only mean one thing: It’s Cinco De Mayo! Yes, it’s the day we eat our weight in nachos and drink our weight in Coronas in order to commemorate Mexico’s victory over the French in an 1862 battle (duh).
We bet Eva Longoria was pretty pumped that no one seemed to notice her nipslip on the red carpet of the Golden Globes a few days ago. Well, sorry Eva, we hate to do this, but…you know how it is. Miss a wardrobe malfunction on a hot A-lister? NOT ON OUR WATCH! So here it is in all its (in)glory, albeit a few days late. Please accept our apologies.
We kind of had our money on Jessica Chastain being the one most likely to suffer some kind of wardrobe-related mishap as the result of her gorgeous but daring gown. But as Eva leaned down to fix the bottom of her dress as she posed with hair stylist to the stars Ken Paves, she tempted fate and…(insert boob-related “Golden Globe” pun here). Ever the profession, she laughed off the episode. The show must go on, after all. Head on down to the gallery below for more!

So, we’ve got definitive best-dressed and worst-dressed lists at the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards last night, but the biggest list for the night are the fashion in-betweeners. Some serious A-Listers showed up to the event and they were almost quite there on the most-fabulous round-up, had there not been some sartorial slip-ups. We hate including Emily Blunt on this list because her cream Miu Miu dress was stunning especially with the crystal neckline. We loved the retro curls and the red lips. But we just can’t reconcile with her Prada heels that feel far too clunky. They even make the length of the dress feel wrong. Nina Dobrev wore a turquoise metallic, fully embellished Monique Lhuillier Spring 2013 cocktail dress with amazo Brian Atwood ‘Evie’ heels, which we love. But the frock feels like something Lt. Uhura would wear to a Star Trek mixer. Then there’s Jessica Chastain‘s Prada gown with the crystal neckline worn with Jimmy Choo ‘Tease’ sandals and Harry Winston jewels. The bodice seems ill-fitted, plus while the gown is meant to pop, she somehow tones it down to a more vanilla vibe. Amy Adams is gorgeous in her Vionnet gown but the ruffles at the waist just don’t do it for us. The same applies for Eva Longoria and her Monique Lhuillier. She wears the designer so often that it’s just too safe now. Pretty, but wholly unremarkable. While Leslie Mann‘s Honor Spring 2013 pink frock is lovely and girly … there’s just too much pink in this look. Pink lips, pink Tiffany clutch, pink Jimmy Choo ‘Fitch’ ankle-strap heels — too, too much for us. Even though the frock is a lacy dream. Octavia Spencer is rocking the navy Tadashi Shoji dress. But those bangs need to go, or be swept aside. A more adventurous shoe — hers matched the dress too perfectly — would be appreciated. And lastly, Emmy Rossum’s Carolina Herrera Pre-Fall 2013 gown feels far too princessy and saccharine. We think Emmy retreats into this style bracket too often, and the odd now and then that she busts out is freakin’ fabulous. So we’re not going to encourage safe Emmy anymore — but only because we love her and don’t want to be enablers!

Love is a battlefield, and 2012 was not immune the heart’s harsh ways. Celebrity relationships had a tough go at things this year and saw a record number of sad splits (Amy Poehler and Will Arnett), shocking divorces (Heidi Klum and Seal) and close-call almost breakups (Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson). But 2012 also saw a few reconciliations (Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez), giving us hope for 2013. Browse through our gallery of the 20 biggest breakups of 2012 and tell us which split was the most devastating to watch.
