What Evan Rachel Wood Really Thinks Of Shia LaBeouf (And True Blood!)

As Disney stars gone wild go, Shia LaBeouf has been a little overshadowed lately by a certain girl formerly known as Hannah Montana, but with the release this weekend of Charlie Countryman, we were reminded of his tales of dropping acid to prepare for his role in the movie. LaBeouf plays an American visiting Bucharest, Romania, who falls in love with a beautiful cellist (Evan Rachel Wood) and gets mixed up with some dangerous mobsters (after getting slipped ecstasy, not acid, by his youth hostel roommates). When VH1 sat down with Wood this week, we asked what it’s like to play opposite a guy who’ll alter his brain to get into a scene.

Did Miley Cyrus And Liam Hemsworth Have A Secret Wedding, Just Like These 20 Celebrity Couples?

20 Celebrities Who Were Married In Secret

Earlier this week, we told you about how Miley Cyrus referred to her boyfriend/fiance/superstud Liam Hemsworth as her “hubby” in an interview with Cosmopolitan. The quote sparked an untold number of rumors suggestion that the power-couple have already tied the knot without us catching on. Well, it turns out we missed a crucial part of the interview: She actually straight up said she was married, y’all! “I’m happy I don’t have to date anyone,” she said within the pages. And later on while telling an anecdote she dropped another glaring hint nugget: “‘I’m so happy I’m married, because you guys are so cruel!’”

OK, so she might have just taken a conversational short cut, and what she meant to say was “I’m so happy that I’m about to get married in the very near future.” But that’s kind of a mouthful, no? A rep for Hemsworth strenuously denied the wedding bell buzz to People, saying that they are “definitely NOT married.”

But hey, reps deny stuff all the time. And it doesn’t explain those Twitpics from Christmas that showed Miley and Liam wearing matching rings. And it really doesn’t explain why those same photos mysteriously vanished soon after being posted! Did Miley and Liam get married in secret? It wouldn’t be the first time in Hollywood history. Head on down to the gallery below and see 20 other famous couples who got hitched on the super DL!

Jessica Alba, Amanda Seyfried, And More Ladies Heat Up The Frigid Sundance Film Festival

The Ladies of The 2013 Sundance Film Festival

It’s pretty hard to look away from the (sexy!) men at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, and let’s face it, we don’t even want to! But here at VH1, we believe in equal opportunity, and it’s time for the lovely ladies of Sundance to take center stage.

From Amanda Seyfried and Evan Rachel Wood, to Shailene Woodley and Elizabeth Olsen, Hollywood’s female royalty were out in full force, and the fashion theme among the starlets’ – old favorites and newcomers alike - was simple: keep warm! Sweaters and fleeces, long-sleeves and jackets, even cute hats and scarves were all the rage among the ladies in chilly Utah. Except of course for Jessica Alba or Dakota Fanning, who both opted for sleeveless dresses. Risky, ladies! Cute – but risky! Either way, the women of Sundance proved once and for all that beauty doesn’t fall by the way side when the cold comes creeping in. Head down to the gallery below for more!

Evan Rachel Wood Is Pregnant With Her First Child, And It’s Not Marilyn Manson’s

Evan Rachel Wood pregnant with her first child

Evan Rachel Wood is having a baby…and it’s not Marilyn Manson’s! Sorry, when we first heard the news we regressed to a few years ago when Wood was engaged to the shock rocker, and the thought of his spawn caused us to have flashbacks to Rosemary’s Baby. But then we remembered that the 25-year-old actress married Jamie Bell in October, and we chilled out a bit. And now the couple are having their first child together! Yay! And it’s not Manson’s. Double yay!

“Evan Rachel Wood and husband Jamie Bell confirmed that they are expecting their first child later this year,” a rep for the pair told Us Weekly. “The couple is thrilled.” This is not the first baby news for the newlyweds, who met on the set of Green Day’s “Wake Me Up When September Ends” back in 2005. Rumors were floating around that they were expecting soon after their wedding, but Evan (or is it Evan Rachel?) shot down the reports soon after. “Sorry to disappoint. But no baby on the way here.” Now we’re so happy to report the opposite. Congrats to the happy couple! Check out the soon-to-be-parents being adorable in the gallery below.

Evan Rachel Wood, Jamie Bell Get Married; We Can’t Wait For Their Vampire Ballerina Babies

Jamie Bell and Evan Rachel Wood got married in California earlier this week

Our hearty congrats go out to actors Evan Rachel Wood and Jamie Bell, the latest celebrity couple to get married in secret. The pair tied the knot in front of family and friends in California on Tuesday, Wood’s rep told E! Online. The former True Blood actress, who wore a Carolina Herrera gown, tweeted about it yesterday:

Evan, 25, and Jamie, 26, first met back in 2005, when they starred in a Green Day video together. After dating for a brief time, they broke up and Evan moved on to Marilyn Manson for four years. She reunited with the Billy Elliot star last year. Is it wrong that we can’t wait to see their beautiful, ethereal babies? OK, we’ll just hope for them to make a movie together first. Just look at how sweet they look together:

Cameron Diaz, Amber Heard, Ginnifer Goodwin And Co. Get Avant-Garde For The LACMA Gala

Celebrities At The LACMA 2012 Gala

The LACMA 2012 Art + Film Gala Honoring Ed Ruscha and Stanley Kubrick presented by Gucci turned out to be a pretty well-attended, fashion-savvy event this weekend. Teeming with A-listers, since Gucci was headlined, most of the ladies wore the brand. We do have Robert Pattinson in our gallery as well, because he’s Robert Pattinson, and he looked devastating in his sharp Gucci suit. Also wearing Gucci was Amy Adams, who glided in a yellow Spring 2013 strapless column with a train and Amber Valletta who was dramatic in a deep green, ruffled, halter-necked gown. Florence Welch (who also performed at the event) looked stunning wearing deep purple Gucci with a gold Grecian headband that worked like a dream with her red hair and pale skin. Bella Heathcote wore a white frock with paillettes and an embellished neckline, which was similar to Amber Heard‘s only the latter’s was in black and gold. There was even more Gucci thanks to Minka Kelly‘s stark black number, Evan Rachel Wood‘s sexy gold dress and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley‘s leggy, backless emerald gown. Ginnifer Goodwin wore a risque dress from the Fall 2012 collection that featured a bold feathered green skirt and black, sheer panelled blouson. Cameron Diaz‘s body was to die for in a bright yellow mini-dress, while her gal pal Jennifer Aniston brought the va-va-voom in a plunging gown by Tom Ford. Breaking out of the brand was another Jennifer, Jennifer Morrison, who chose a slashed black Reem Acra jumpsuit. Some of the looks worked — Evan, Amy, Amber and then some — and some, we’re not quite sure of, like Cameron and Jennifer M’s. But at least this was a red carpet that had interesting, envelope pushing looks. Check out our gallery to see all the rest.

The Golden Globes Back Story: 20 Of The Sexiest Backs On The Red Carpet

Swooping cowls, cut-outs, drapes, racer-backs, sheer lace work … Golden Globe gowns were as sexy from the back as they were in front this year. Whether it was Lea Michele‘s sheer silver Marchesa to co-star Dianna Agron’s and Evan Rachel Wood’s avian-inspired, red-hot lacy Giles Deacon dress and Gucci Premiere emerald gown, respectively —- the back is officially back. A couple of other favorites include a Glee actress again. Naya Rivera stunned in a silver Vera Wang gown which had a lovely keyhole back. We also truly appreciated the back view of Kathleen Robertson’s Maria Lucia Hohan dress, Stacey Keibler’s stunning Valentino, Kate Beckinsale’s Roberto Cavalli and Heidi Klum’s sexy Calvin Klein. Put A Bird On It! Aviarian Influences At The 2012 Golden Globes

You know the old saying, “Two is coincidence but three makes a trend?” Well, at the 2012 Golden Globe Awards tonight, one of the more sly trends of the evening was ushered in by the unlikely trio of Dianna Agron, Evan Rachel Wood and Emma Stone. Specifically, all three were wearing outfits that were either made from or paid tribute to our fine feathered friends, birds.

Evan Rachel Wood led the way with her stunning Gucci Premiere gown, which was decked out with shimmery bird feathers that reminded this viewer more than a little of Black Swan. Glee star Dianna Agron dazzled in another avarian-inspired outfit, which was designed by Giles and featured laser-cut swans (or so she told E! red carpet correspondent Giulana Rancic). Lastly, Emma Stone kept her dress in place with a sparkly eagle belt, which may or may not have been modeled after the most patriotic of the Muppets, Sam the Eagle. (Hint: It almost certainly wasn’t.)

Gothic Romance Sweeps The Critics’ Choice Red Carpet

While there were splashes of color on the red carpet at the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards, there was also the predicable black-on-black-on-black ensembles. But the mood was anything but sombre, as those sporting black gowns added an edge to their style with a gothic twist that played off the vampiric undertones of 2011′s trends. Charlize Theron was statuesque in a gown that cascaded in tiers to her feet, with a sleek braid and minimal accessories giving the dark look a modern, fresh feel. Evan Rachel Wood also opted for a floor length gown, and her lacy number, porcelain skin and twisted up-do lent the the look a stoic, old-world air. Judy Greer also went for gothic femininity, in a body-hugging dress overlaid with intricate black lace. Kirsten Dunst wore a beautiful Dior LBD, and embellished with ribbon and tulle, Kirsten bought her signature quirky, fashion forward style to the runway. Also rocking a shorter dress was Chloe Moretz, who went all out on the goth trend in Chanel, wearing shearling sleeves on a baby doll dress with raw seams and ancient looking brooch adorning the collar.
