Kate Moss Wears “Engagement” Ring, Too

Oooh! Oooh! Another strategically-worn ring alert! Days after Britney Spears played a guessing game with the paps by wearing, and then not wearing, a ring on her engagement finger, Kate Moss has got us all gossiping too. The supermodel, who was a notable absentee from Glastonbury this year, was snapped out in Paris on Tuesday with boyfriend Jamie Hince wearing a massive sparkler (click here to see the snaps).

Frustratingly, Kate kept her ring finger hidden from view last night when she stepped out in London to support her friend, Gossip singer Beth Ditto‘s new plus-size range for British fashion store Evans. Simon Cowell To Take Over The Entertainment World

In news we’re not sure whether to be impressed or terrified by (we suspect both), music mogul Simon Cowell has teamed up with longtime friend and retail giant Sir Philip Green (pictured at right) to create a new uber-powerful entertainment company. The TV judge will set up the company with Kate Moss‘s Topshop boss — who’s Britain’s 9th richest person — to ensure he owns the rights of all the entertainment shows he’s involved with, from American Idol to Britain’s Got Talent and the X-Factor.

“They are talking about making profits running into billions as opposed to millions from their joint venture … they’re thinking in terms of a new Disney. What they’re planning is that big,” said a source close to the hairy-chested pair. Gulp. [Photo: Splash News Online]

Kate Moss is finally going to open up and speak at length about her scandalous life. The notoriously silent-with-the-press supermodel has signed a deal with Virgin Books to pen her autobiography, and this prospect has us salivating in excitement. Johnny Depp! The Primrose Hill set scandals! The Pete Doherty drug years! Going to rehab! Johnny Depp (again)!

But apparently, it’s not going to be a warts-and-all confession, just something to “set the record straight, but not betray any trust,” says Grazia mag. Boo. Still, Kate’s had enough drama in her life to make any book about her a must-read.
